When we purchased this property it was covered with black berry bushes, we did not even know what might be underneath when we started to clear it. At first we just wanted a garden but the deer ate the blueberries so we planted pumpkins. They were a success, in fact one year we gave a pumpkin to each Beach School kindergartner. Later on we decided to set it up as with RV hook ups for our friends and that is how we got to where we are now. We love to share Lummi Island, it is a special place and we added the tag "Beach, Bikes and Hikes" lots to do on Lummi so bring your bikes, kayaks, walking shoes. Park your camping trailer or RV, water, electricity, both 110 and 30 amp service, sewer (septic hook up) are ready for you. We have a propane campfire for evening campfires but you will need to hook up your propane to it. Once you're set up, start exploring. The beach, blizzard trail, ride your bike, bring your kayak or just sit back and take in views all the way to Canada. Lummi Island does have a grocery store, near the ferry landing, two restaurants, no gas on Lummi, however the store does sell propane. There is two restaurants on Lummi Island the Beach Store Cafe, moderate prices but only open Thursday thru Sunday and the Galley usually open Wed thru Sunday. The best part of Lummi Island is the tranquility, kick back and enjoy fresh air, beach walks, outstanding sunsets and quiet nights. Pets OK, please pick up after pet and have a leash.Park your camping trailer or RV, water, electricity, both 110 and 30 amp service, sewer (septic hook up) are ready for you.  Once your set up, start exploring. The Pumpkin Patch is a great way to enjoy Lummi Island. The spacious site has great access to the adjacent beach area. Full hook ups were solid.

Pumpkin Patch on Lummi Island
This campsite is a gem. Well cared for with stunning views of the sea and colourful sunsets. Access to the beach is a few steps across the road. Sounds of seabirds and the occasional fog horn background music. Our host was exceptional in providing for our comport and suggesting points of interest in the area. We biked daily and returned the friendly waves from passing motorists. Island time became real…with the tides replacing a clock. Will we return? You bet! Would I like to keep this spot a secret? Double yes!

Bob and Rose's Pumpkin Patch is a perfect beach get away. This full hook-up site is ideal for those wanting to enjoy their RV without the crowds. We come back every year!

Pumpkin Patch on Lummi Island
We returned for our second stay at this fun hip camp. We have enjoyed our daily bike rides around the island. Folks wave as they pass. We stopped to watch the reef net fishermen and learn how that is done. We shopped the farmers market and then picked yummy ripe blackberries along the fence at our camp. Our hosts are amazing. So friendly and helpful. We even did a quick dip in the water! But quickly returned to basking in the sun on the Sandy beach. We will return often.

We love camping at the Pumpkin Patch! Bob and Rose are excellent hosts - thoughtful and accommodating. The site is clean and well cared for, and the beach access is a lovely amenity. Lummi Island has lots to explore, and we always enjoy our time visiting.

Great place, full hookups, nice beach to walk and sit on, not much traffic as we rode our bikes around the island, and Bob is very easy-going and helpful. We will put this place on our 'return to list'.

Pumpkin Patch on Lummi Island
The Pumpkin Patch was a fantastic spot and Robert was a lovely host. We were just steps from the beach and we were thrilled to find it quiet on a holiday weekend. We felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves for most of the day and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. The spot is spacious with a lot of great amenities - power, water, sewer, table, chairs. And it was quiet, which we always love when we bring our pup. She was relaxed and enjoyed the trip as much as we did. We'd never been to Lummi Island and it was a very cute place. We will certainly bring our bikes next time to ride around the quiet roads.

Thanks Bob & Rose for sharing your campsite with us! We really did enjoy our time exploring the island and taking walks on the beach which was just down the hill. The pumpkin patch is a perfect homebase. Bob was great at communicating with helping us get set up. We will definitely return in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay at the pumpkin patch campsite. Bob was very friendly and met us before we set up. This campsite is very spacious with full hookups, lots if room to spread out, and very quiet. The proxity to the beach for short walks and watching the sunset is also a big plus for us. We will definitely be back!

Pumpkin Patch on Lummi Island
Lovely spot on Lummi. Family loved playing on the private beach, which was a block away from the campsite. Friendly and helpful host was easy to communicate with. It took us several attempts to back our 28' travel trailer into the spot, but we eventually made it. The actual RV spot is pretty level and is set up very well, with electric, water and sewer hookups. The campsite is located in a neighborhood, and occasionally neighbors walked by, and everyone was friendly to us. It seems to me that folks who live on Lummi are just happy in general.

Nice grassy lot with view of Rosario & Georgia Strait. Right on a path for biking/hiking. It has 30amp power, picnic table, chairs, & garbage can.

Very relaxing and private spot. Just a short walk from the beach. The hosts are super friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend!

We loved our stay at the pumpkin patch! Bob and Rose were kind and helpful. The site is clean and quiet, the beach is lovely. We spent time at camp, played at the beach, stargazed at night, and explored some of the beautiful Lummi Isoand trails. Lummi Island is such a local treasure!

One of our top Hipcamp experiences. Lummi Island is such a special place and Bob’s place is in a perfect spot. The beach is just across the road and it is so beautiful. Great biking and walking too. Didn’t want to leave. Plan to make Pumpkin Patch a yearly trip.

We had a great time. The site was as described. The beach access across the road was lovely. Robert was very responsive and welcoming. We will definitely return to the Pumpkin Patch as soon as possible!

We had an amazing visit at the pumpkin patch. Bob was there to great us and go over property and details. Thanks Bob! If you are heading over in a travel trailer - advise high tide for ferry timing. Everyone we met was so friendly and eager to share how much they love living on Lummi Island. If you want to “unplug”, relax and enjoy views - this is the place for you!!! We will be back. ❤️

Fantastic stay, as always. This is our third year at the Pumpkin Patch and our stay was amazing. Lummi Island is a wonderful respite from the hustle and bustle of life. The nature and quiet are fantastic. The spot is a breeze to access and the full hookups make for a great experience. Bob and Rose live on the island and are always available, if needed. We can recommend this place highly enough!

You want peace and quiet? This is the place. We have never been to a place so peaceful as Lummi island. The camp site was immaculate and Robert and Rose went above and beyond for us. The hookup set up is well lit and easy to access. My husbamd said he wants to go back next year. I dont want to wait that long. The islamd is perfection for bikes. Except for rush hour when 2 cars passed us on the road. This place was heaven.

A perfect island getaway only minutes from Bellingham! My husband and I love this gem of a campsite! It has full hook-ups for our travel trailer, a picnic table, Adirondack chairs facing out to a view of the water, and easy access to a beautiful beach and nature trails. Bob and Rose are great hosts, very quick to respond to inquiries and always there to help. We've stayed at the Pumpkin Patch 4 years in a row. I'm already planning next year's trip!

The views are spectacular and the sunsets are colorful. Sunset Beach access is very close and easy to get down to. Having full hookup makes it easy to enjoy the space.

Quick getaway trip

Pumpkin Patch on Lummi Island
The camp lot was very well maintained. The lot is on a slight slope but it was no big deal after leveling my trailer. Full hookups was great. The beach is about a 2 minute walk. The wind wasn't our friends for this trip but we still had a blast. A couple things to keep in mind is that the ferry is very small and the roads are not very wide. This place is great for family and friends.

Always love Lummi and love coming back to the Pumpkin Patch! Our kids love the grassy space, picking blackberries, walking down to the beach and biking around the island! A knee injury held us back a bit this trip, but Bob saved the trip by connecting us to the Parish group and a pair of crutches! Thanks Bob (and Jane @ the Parish!) So grateful for our island time. Will be back….

We are very lucky to have found the Pumpkin Patch. Bob provides a full hook up, plenty of space to park, picnic, sit in the shade or sun, and beach access. I rode my bicycle around a bit and enjoyed the gentle, quiet roads. Lummi is a very chill spot; everyone is friendly, and the pace is very laid back.
