Can’t wait to come back!
We loved Site 5 at Bar UK! We’ve already booked it again. What we like: flat grassy site with plenty of room for tents, lawn games, playing fetch with our dog. Big trees provide plenty of shade. Beautiful view of the river & watching turtles, fish & birds. Excellent for group camping & camping with kids. We loved the easy access to the dock for paddle boarding. All of the sites look great. Site 1 is also great for groups & kids! It has a rope swing over the river! Site 2 we deemed “most romantic.” Sites 3 & 4 both have a hammock. Port o potties are very clean. Water was easily accessible & potable. We also loved swimming up river with our dog. There are some nice shallow sandy areas we reached by paddle board.

Would Definitely Come Back!
Before we left for the trip we got an email from the hosts with good directions to the campsites. We arrived just before sunset and were charmed from the start. The land is very well maintained, the campsites each have tables, a fire pit (and removable grill), 2 Adirondack chairs, and a beautiful bouquet of wild flowers awaiting us. There are several flat areas for tents with sweet views of the river. Our site had a rope swing into the river, other sites had hammocks. There is a little dock with access to the water and a couple of kayaks and a pedal boat which I took my little daughter out in. Potable water was available close by as well as 2 porta potties. We went up to visit the horses near the barn and on our first morning there, we received an email from the hosts about fun activities we could do nearby. We had a lovely time and would definitely come back again. Couple be fun to rent out all the campsites with friends and family!

The spot was beautiful, right next to the river, a huge area for the kids to play right behind us. The hosts were nice and caring. I can’t wait to go back. My family and I had a great time.

What a beautiful place to camp at! The views were amazing. It was so quiet and peaceful. Close to town and yet felt like we were hours away. Loved it! Whenever we had questions, Michelle was quick to reply. Anyway, I'd definitely recommend choosing this place!
