Southern Revere Vineyard &amp; Farm

This was a great place to camp! There was ton of space and a really good grill. The winery is close by of you want to enjoy. My dogs and I had a wonderful time!

Perfect Fall Getaway!!

This campsite was great and the winery/ brewery on site was so much fun. Our puppy loved the dog park as well as walking around the campsite. The picnic table and fire pit were high quality and thus was the perfect back drop to the Fall season. Will definitely be coming back. Sheridan was wonderful and very quick to respond even when I mistakenly went to the wrong location, she redirected us with ease!

We enjoyed our stay on this property! The archers den campsite felt very private and had plenty of space. We loved the big fire pit with cooking grate.. The three campsites are far enough away from the winery/brewery that you don’t feel like you are camping at public business. Even though they had live music playing and seemed pretty busy we could barely hear anything going on. On the other hand if you wanted to enjoy the festivities it’s just a short walk from the campsites.

Great camping spot and property!

Our group loved staying at Archer’s Den at Southern Revere Cellars. We really enjoyed the fact that our spot was hidden away from guests at the tasting barn, but if we wanted to the barn was an easy walk away to try the wine and beer. The fire pit they provide is a really nice touch and communication with the host was easy and timely. The only recommendation we have is to bring in bigger signage for each campsite. We totally missed the small sign/arrow for our campsite so we had to ask the host for the location. Overall great time and we will be back!

Had a great time camping at Southern Revere! The site is relatively private and you are tucked away from other campers. You can hear events at the winery, but it's not too loud and they aren't open super late. Host is very kind and responsive. Portapotties are a short walk away, and it was great to be able to visit the tap room and wander back to camp after. Will come again!

Harvest Hill at Southern Revere

Loved the private camp site. You won't get that type of privacy at a typical campground. The grounds are very nicely maintained with many walking trails. The ground at the harvest hill site was very level and perfect for our pop-up. Nearby spot-o-pot was handy. Also great to be able to walk to brew/wine/food/music at the tasting room. Enjoyed both the beer and wine. Highly recommend.

I really liked our spot on the hill. The light pollution was very low allowing for a great view of the night sky. In addition, the area has 5G so star gazing apps work well. I enjoyed the beer and red wine offered at the tasting room and the band that played was nice as well. You can buy food to feed the goats at the tasting room.

Quiet and peaceful

Fabulous campsite— flat and spacious with a ring of trees sheltering the area. It provided the quiet space to enjoy the setting without any noise or distractions often found when surrounded by other campers. We enjoyed a visit to the tasting room, and saw the goats and gorgeous old vintage truck on the hill. The whole place looks like a postcard.

Starry, starry nights!

We had a great weekend at the Southern Revere Winery & Brewery. We stayed at Hearth Hill with an incredible view of the night sky. There was a portajohn just a few steps from our site which was used by us and the campers at the other 2 sites. All campsites were very private. The property has a fenced dog park, a playground, live music on Saturdays, and 3 adorable goats! The folks in the tasting barn were friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was the food truck cuisine. Bring your own picnic basket since the food truck options on both Saturday and Sunday offered limited choices and overpriced small portions. There are lots of trails throughout the property. Blue jays, cardinals, and lots of other birds enjoyed the berries on the Eastern Red Cedar trees. We saw no other wildlife which surprised us. We thought we'd see squirrels, chipmunks, deer, foxes, and rabbits, but did not see or hear any of these animals. We highly recommend this hipcamp! It was easy to find, easy to access our campsite, and simple in and out. We enjoyed campfires both nights with the firewood we purchased as an extra. It was stacked near our firepit when we arrived.

Awesome, huge private campsite

This is a wonderful campsite. It is by far the largest site I have ever stayed on. We had what must have been over an acre to ourselves. It was very private due to a row of trees between our site and the tasting barn several hundred meters away. It was no problem backing up our trailer to the electric hookup. We were level left-right and therefore didn't need our leveling wedge. The fire pit and picnic table were great. The view of the stars was amazing. It was so nice to camp all by ourselves, which is something you rarely get at a state park campground. Good cell service, too. Will definitely return.

Simply an Amazing Place - SRC

Southern Revere Brewery and Vineyard are simply amazing. We loved every part of their property and their campsites were terrific. Each site was tucked away to give you the privacy you may want. At the same time if you have some friends camping out with you the spaces are large enough to accommodate. We participated in the tastings on Saturday evening. The staff were super friendly, the band was great and a lot of people were out there having lots of fun. We liked that they have a dog park, a playground for younger children, a small enclosure where they had some goats. We enjoyed walking the property. Many parts of the property have remained natural that provided many different viewscapes. All in all it was a great find and one that we will definitely be back and bring some friends with us, too. We had a great camping trip!! The land is wonderful. Very private, quiet, and peaceful spot, and the brewery / winery a 5 min walk away onsite is such a great addition to enjoy! We will definitely come back!

Camping with a side of brewery fun!

We loved camping at Rock Creek Corner last weekend! Sheridan welcomed us and showed us to campsite nicely nestled in the woods by a small creek. The site was perfectly situated and equipped, especially the large fire ring with optional cooking grate. We especially enjoyed being able to walk up to the brewery to have a drink and listen to live music with our pup, and return to the secluded campsite to sit by the fire. We had a fantastic fall weekend and hope to return soon!

Loved the laid back atmosphere here and the wine and beer tastings were fun. The staff was kind and engaging. Only issue for us was knowing exactly where to go when we first arrived (I think a sign would have helped?) Overall, really fun spot and glad we stayed here and explored Virginia wines.

Excellent camping spot

We loved the privacy this site offers. During the day we enjoyed the great food, drinks and music at the tasting room and then we walked back to our site where we had a great fire pit and picnic table nested in the trees. Hosts were very friendly and provided everything we needed to spend an excellent night with family and friends. We will definitely be back!

Had a great spot. Felt secluded even though there was a lot going on at the barn! Enjoyed that as well. Would return for sure and recommend highly. We did lose power around 7:30 am on Sunday though, but didn't bother us as we were packing up to go. Thanks again!

My kids and I finally arrived at Shenandoah National Park for Labor Day weekend only to find out it was full! Bad timing!! So I pivoted and searched the Hipcamp app for something safe and available for the three of us. Sheridan responded quickly, and to our surprise, the campsite was located at a popular local brewery and winery, absolutely a beautiful setting. Our site was secluded and private, and we loved it. Sheridan and the staff were very welcoming, and the firewood we added to our reservation was ready and waiting when we arrived. There are no hookups or bathrooms at the site, but water and port-a-johns are located near the tasting room. Roughing it out here was not that rough! We especially enjoyed hearing the live band drift through the trees on our second night there. It made the experience even more memorable. We loved our stay and would absolutely camp here again. Great Site! Great Brewery!

This was my first ever experience using Hip Camp. I reserved Archers Den the night before we would camp there. Sheridan was very kind and responsive to all of my rookie questions. When we arrived the directions she provided were perfect. Our site was clean and ready to enjoy. The site was very private. We had no idea that there was winery and brewery (Southern Revere) on the farm but it became clear as soon as we arrived. So after getting set up we ventured over the big red building and we were so glad we did. The beer was great. The live music was great. It truly had a great vibe. Then we returned to our site and started a campfire and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Highly recommend if you want to camp AND enjoy a great little brewery on site. And again, the host (Sheridan) was very helpful. We will definitely returning again! PS: Look carefully and you might find something interesting hanging from a tree across the creek next to the camp site. We sure had fun making up stories about around the campfire.

My wife, 3 year old, and 6 year old tent camped here and had a great weekend. It was nice and quiet and secluded. The brewery/winery was a close walk but not so close that it was too loud. Our site had plenty of shade and the picnic table was light enough to move around as the sun moved. The brewery/winery provided a nice respite during the hottest times of the day. Our kids really enjoyed the creek by the camp site where they could watch the frogs jump and the playground behind the main building. Would for sure camp here again.

What an amazing place and experience! The entire expansive camping area was recently mowed, which we appreciated SO much. The kids loved all the open space and the proximity to the tasting room wasn't bad, either. :) Highly recommend!

Wonderful Vineyard /Brewery

Such a beautiful location and fun place for camping. The site was huge. Like 3/4 of an acre huge. They provided a nice flat area, 30&50 amp service, fire pit with firewood. Yes. With firewood!!! And a picnic table. They meet us as we approached and showed us the site. The Vineyard and brewery was really fun and approachable. They had numerous food trucks and weekend activities. They invited us in and treated us like family. We will be back for sure.
