BLUF: Peaceful Meadows is an absolute hidden gemâwe cannot wait to return!
Don't let the residential driveway fool you on arrival; GPS brought us right to the entrance, marked with a small "Peaceful Meadows" sign. Per instructions, we texted about 20 minutes prior to arrival. Wendell and Michelle were out actively caring for the grounds, but met us right at the drive and guided us past the main house to a spacious, open campground. There is plenty of clearance and turning room for even the largest rigs to navigate comfortably.
Wendell personally assisted with parking and made sure we had everything needed for setup. We had full hookups (30-amp electric, water, and sewer), and they graciously placed us right next to the friends we were traveling with. Every pad on the property is level with a solid gravel base.
Down at the pond, the area is pristine and beautifully maintainedâI had a great time catching (and releasing) several bluegill and crappie. Location-wise, Scottsville is only about 20 minutes away, making it an easy home base to explore two local wineries, a brewery, and a nearby hiking park.
Michelle and Wendell are top-notch hosts who genuinely care about their guests' experience, even delivering firewood to us later in the evening. Highly recommended!
