Peace of Earth Farmstead &amp; Forest

Kelly and her family were very kind. I am a traveling vendor and one market ended up having me back on their property around midnight. They were so helpful in making sure I would know where to go and not disturb anyone. Great communication from the beginning and they were very helpful with anything that I needed! Will be going there again!

Fabulous site! Treehouse area so fun for the kids and great to camp in the woods without having lots of other people around you. Conveniently close to Richmond, and fun to see and hear about the family's school in the woods! Loved seeing the piglets!

Great camp for kids

This was our second trip back to Peace of Earth and it was just as good as the first time! The kids wore themselves out playing in the treehouse, visiting the animals, and walking the trails. Hosts are great folks!

Family friendly camping

The play area was perfect for my kids. We were in the Treehouse camping site and I could see them from my camp space but they felt like they were "away" from me. Perfect. The campsites filled up and we made fast friends with other campers. My kids did the nature excursion with Kelly, and loved building fairy houses. Will be back!

We had a wonderful weekend camping with our kids and dog. The property was unique and had all the amenities that make tent camping a little easier. The playground and trails kept our kids busy as they made new friends and explored. The property feels secluded and safe. We were able to really relax and spend quality time together. Ross checked in on us twice and Kelly was very responsive with messages. We are eager to return soon!

Our family had a great time at Kelly’s land. Our three boys loved the tree house, zip line, trails and animals. It’s a pretty amazing place. We were the only ones there during our stay. Kelly was very responsive and accommodating

My kids and I loved our time at Peace of Earth and can't wait to return! Kelly was a wonderful host and took the time to show us around the space and answer all of our questions. There was so much to see, learn, and do for all ages. This experience far exceeded our expectations, I can not recommend this camp site enough!

Amazing play space

Wonderful space and the farm treehouse playground was amazing for the kiddos in our group. Hosts were very helpful and kind. Not far off the freeway and the grocery store was close for last minute items. The latrines were sufficient but no one’s favorite.

We loved staying here, our kids(1,2,10,13) had so much fun on the Zipline, exploring the trails, and in the treehouse. They also loved the animals, there was never a dull moment. We were so impressed by the shelters and how well maintained everything was.

Wooded Wonderland - A memory maker

This place was absolutely AMAZING! The treehouse, zip line, ninja warrior line, and other pieces of the play area were perfect for the kids to play, there are trails on trails and plenty of woods to explore, a swimming hole with an old mill and a small fishing hole. It was me and two ten year old boys and before we left they were already asking when we could come back. The farm has goats and sheep and chickens and there’s a sweet cat named Mickey that made itself part of our family for the stay. Kelly and Ross were so sweet and helpful. The outhouse is close by and has a sink attached to a pump line so you can wash your hands. 10/10 would recommend, we will definitely be looking to book another trip here!!

Second time we stayed here - great time again! Kids had so much fun in the forest playground, and Kelly was very communicative. Appreciated her giving us ample water and firewood! Took a nice swim in the creek, deep enough to get up to our waists. Do remember to do a tick check after, and each found one on us. Will come again!

We had a real fun adventure here at Peace on Earth! 🌍 ☮️. The kids loved the animals - Kelly even let them feed the goats and sheep. Very clean area with lots of active things to tire out the children. 💯 recommend! Easy to find. Clean outhouses.

We loved staying here with our preschoolers. They are really set up for an adventure with kids between the animals to feed, treehouse to climb in, zip line, swings, mud kitchen, and chalkboards at site. Kelly was a great host who met us on arrival and offered suggestions for our stay. We walked to the creek which was nice to cool off but not great for swimming or splashing with young kids. The only other downside were the dogs barking through most of the night. We will definitely be back for another adventure.

We had a great time camping on the farm! Kelly was so friendly and the property was perfect for camping with a two year old. My daughter loved feeding all the animals and playing on all the equipment. Oshi the dog accompanied us to the swimming hole and Mickey the cat joined us by the fire at night. Make sure to bring bug spray with deet. There were quite a few ticks. And you might want to bring a white noise machine or earplugs, the animals can be a little noisy.

Camp Sweet Gum

We loved it- my 2 year old loved watching all the animals (sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks!). The sites are all far enough from the road to be quiet but not far apart from each other so you’ll definitely see your neighbors. The treehouse playground area is cool for kids- I wish the zip line could hold adults because I was so jealous! But there are swings and ladders and a slide so we had fun. We booked two nights, although we only stayed one because it was very hot and muggy. That’s more on us being weenies and my kid overheating than on Kelly though 🤷‍♀️

This place was a DREAM. A total nature/adventurer/explorer paradise, so many cool little trails to get lost in nature! A must if you have kids or are a kid at heart. We loved visiting the farm animals and the treehouse, zipline, and mud kitchen were a blast!

Our family had an amazing time here. There is so much to see and do. My boys are already asking when they can go back. This time was just the boys but next time we plan to take the whole family. They loved the treehouse and zip line, hiking trails and fishing. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating. The site setups are some of the best we’ve experienced.

Beautiful farm and convenient location to Lake Anna & RVA! Kelly and Ross were great hosts, they provided a great intro to the farm when they checked us in and made sure that we had everything we needed.
