Ammon Creek Farm was started as a wedding venue in 2017 with 70 acres of open land surrounding a small lake. When the owners became camping enthusiasts, they decided to share the property with other outdoor nature lovers. Bird watching, biking, fishing, and paddle boarding are a few of the diversions that will make your camping experience more enjoyable.

Remote, private, rustic

Forest Pavilion
This is a rustic little spot about 15 minutes off Rt. 460 in central VA. No amenities, so bring everything you will need, but Merritt was responsive and quite hospitable. The land is privately located among a small hardwood tree grove, but has nice pond views to one side and fields on 2 other sides. Merritt and his wife are lovely people and fascinating to talk to.

Great property! Very well maintained. Merritt is very hospitable, he cut the grass before we arrived giving us plenty of space to choose from. We caught pickerel, bluegill, and crappie in his lake. Picturesque views all around the lake and rolling hills. We had a great time
