Welcome to Wild North Farm & Primitive Camping, a quiet, rustic camping area in rural northern Vermont. This is a primitive, self-sufficient camping setup with one parking space suitable for a van, bus, or RV, along with two basic tent campsites. The main farm area is currently off limits to guests, so this listing is best for campers looking for a simple rural basecamp rather than a full farm experience. Guests should come prepared for a primitive stay and bring their own drinking water, food, cooking setup, bathroom plan, lighting, and anything else they may need. This is a pack-in, pack-out site. All trash, belongings, and pet waste must leave with you. Please respect the land, keep the area clean, and leave no trace. We are generator friendly and pet friendly. Guests are welcome to bring pets, but pets must be under full control at all times. This means they should not roam freely, disturb wildlife, bother other guests, or enter restricted farm areas. The surrounding area offers many opportunities for hiking, swimming, fishing, scenic drives, and exploring the natural beauty of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. This is a good fit for respectful campers, van travelers, anglers, hikers, and outdoor-minded guests who enjoy simple camping, quiet nights, and time close to nature.Site 1 is a long gravel driveway perfect for your off-grid bus or RV. Located in a beautiful field abutting the forest it is the perfect combination of field and forest. Other than the gravel driveway this site is currently raw land with no amenities. Please plan to bring everything you need to be a self-sufficient camper and plan to pack everything out with you.
