Great little secluded spot in Vergennes. Within walking distance to the cute downtown strip. Was a perfect base for trips to Burlington and local orchards. Beautiful area!

We loved staying here, it was quiet and peaceful ! We will definitely be back in the future. We loved how the fire pit, picnic table and swing were separated with little paths to each. Directions, check in and check out were very easy. Scott answered all my questions super fast.

I absolutely loved sleeping here! It was quiet and peaceful we could hear the wildlife and see million of fireflies at night it was stunning. The birds in the morning were perfect singing their songs (: It was a bit buggy at night but nothing a little bug spray could help (def bring some!)! This place is a perfect secluded and safe pull off for the night! 10/10 would recommend and would sleep here again!!

Nice private, level spot within walking distance to town. The top was mowed by the driveway, but walking down to the fire pit and swing, the grass was in desperate need to be cut. A little extra attention at the site would have gone a long way.

A perfect balance of seclusion and proximity to Vergennes. A great home base to explore the Champlain Valley, with nice features tucked away on the site like a swing, picnic table, and fire pit.

Very nice scenic, quiet private site on top of a hill, it was winter so didn’t get a chance to spend much time outside of the van, but would definitely stay here again. This represents the pastoral beauty of the Champlain Valley very nicely and one can walk to downtown Vergennes, which has really cool restaurants and shops.

At first I was worried I would have trouble finding it from the directions but it was very easy to find even at night. We set up and had a fire and enjoyed the night and next morning woke up, took a nice walk and explored the property. Would have loved to stay here another night but next time!

Beautiful spot overlooking an old orchard. Evenings by the fire and morning coffee in the swing, were our favorites. Easy walk down the road to restaurants and shops. Spot is doable with back in (or out) for any sized or type of rig.

What an absolutely wonderful place. Perfect isolated solitude with a charming 12min walk into a quaint little city. It’s everything the description and reviews say it is. If you find yourself in the area, stay here! You will NOT be disappointed. One of the best Hipcamp spots we’ve ever stayed at. We spent a week here in our class A motorhome and had an incredible time. The fire pit, the swing, the view, the sunsets(!!!) A+ and exactly the kind of place Hipcamp is best for. A perfect gem of a place.
(And to speak on several comments on the grasses not being mowed, they were perfectly curated when we arrived and did not have the same issues others did. Scott was a great host who took great care in his wonderful little slice of heaven.)

Great spot to pull in. It has a bench swing, fire pit, and picnic table. It is a private driveway with good coverage from 3 sides. I was happy to be able to book it only an hour or so before my arrival as I scrambled to find a spot to sleep as I entered Vermont. It is also well priced

Location, Location, Location!
The owner, Scott, is very accommodating to traveler's timetables which is highly unusual, and very nice.
This paved super long site has privacy, a picnic table, bench swing, and fire pit. It's remote, however, the adorable town of Vergennes is a stone's throw away! There is no water or electricity on this site.
BYOG (Bring your own generator)
Uniquely, this property is remote enough that a generator cannot disturb any neighboring farms, thus allowing for use of air conditioning and other electronic devices. This is important in the summer months! The few State Parks nearby don't have water/electricity and only 4 hours a day (2 a.m. and 2 p.m.) allowed generator time. Not enough to hardly charge batteries, let alone run an air conditioner which was definitely needed.
We've stayed her twice before and I highly recommend this Hipcamp!

Nice spot here. I woke up the first morning with a friendly horse and donkey on one side and a flock of guinea hens on the other. Country vibe but close enough to walk to town.

The location and views are so beautiful! We loved the picnic table, fire pit and swing!! Our 2 little dogs had a great time too!! We would love to come back again for more than 1 night!

The spot is absolutely pefect. We would stay again in a heartbeat if we could. Location is amazing, we visited Vergennes, Burlington, the Adirondack Mtns. and the Green Mtns. And everything in between! Scott is kind and caring.

It was a nice (and reasonable) lot for an evening stop over. Lot was fairly level. We walked into town with our dogs and got in a good workout as it has some up and down. My only issue is that the grass to the swing and picnic table had not been mowed recently. Grass by the driveway coming in was great, but I think the path to the other amenities should have been moved prior to our arrival.

This was a surprise gem. The driveway is long enough that you feel tucked in and there is a lovely swing, firepit and table. It is an easy walk to town, the hosts provided great suggestions. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!
