Cabin · Sleeps 4
Welcome to the Woods Cabin! Tucked away on 300+ acres of Vermont beauty, this off-grid cabin boasts private hilltop views, steps away from hiking trails and a babbling brook. Enjoy the freedom of an unplugged life! Back to the days of card games, reading, writing, puzzle solving, music making, and wholesome conversation without interruption. This lovely getaway is sure to reset your daily rhythm and restore your connection with nature. We provide your basic needs with an outhouse, cozy blankets, pillows and towels, and a lantern. Sleepwise, there is room for two on the queen bed, and space for an additional 2 can be made on the rug if you bring your own sleeping bag/air mattress. **A maximum of four people can sleep here with a small fee per person after 2. A maximum of ONE dog will be permitted with prior approval. ** FYI: The propane stovetop is reliable for cooking during your stay. During warm months enjoy potable water in the sink and shower. We drain the water lines some time in October until May. Also, you’ll notice the fridge, and various light fixtures and outlets throughout this cabin… these are disconnected from the generator at the moment. This cabin has capabilities for both solar and propane energy which we plan to tap into for future booking. We suggest bringing a cooler and ice, portable gas burner, etc for all your culinary endeavors- or cook over the fire pit! The ace in the hole of this cabin is the front porch… our favorite place for a morning cup of coffee. Outside the fire pit awaits for camp cooking and nighttime stargazing- firewood is complementary, located out back by the shower. Across the road from the entrance is a beautiful and relaxing creek for exploring. Enjoy our local wildlife- you're likely to spot wild turkeys, deer, foxes and a plethora of birds during your stay! Come experience restoration here at the Woods Cabin. Snowmobiles welcome.
