This spot was really nice, but not super private, it was right next to another site. Overall I was pleased with the site, the stream was beautiful and the hot tub was a nice add on.

Great location to Smugglers

Great location to Smugglers and town for a good dinner. Tyler and his family were extremely helpful and a great host. River along the back of the property and access to local hiking makes it even better. Would defiantly recommend Tyler's property to other hipcampers.

Riverside Camp at Smuggler's Notch

The site was great for a few reasons - very close to Smuggler’s Notch bouldering areas, the river essentially provided us a white noise machine for sleep. We had everything we needed (porta potty, picnic table), and Tyler was helpful. It did feel a bit cramped for a four-person tent and was challenging to find a flat spot for two people to sleep.

Nice spot to camp next to the river. The site in Johnson is well appointed with shower and outhouse. Tyler was helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Gorgeous riverside camp. Very comfortable for our group of four, would be tight for more. We loved splashing in the pools, resting in the shade, and exploring the notch.

This site was beautiful with great tree coverage and a nice river running by. Great amenities including a fire pit, picnic table, and port-a-potty. We walked down the road to the Brewster River trail and found a spot to wade into the river.

Overall the campsite was a good base to go play in the Notch from. We felt the listing was a little misleading as you’re very close to the road and house, and the stream was pretty shallow. The host was fine though and left us alone.

Tyler was an AMAZING host ; stellar human and incredible site! We stayed in the tent campsite by the water and it was so peaceful and beautiful. Super fun and accessible hiking right on the property and only 10min from Mt. Mansfield park and Smugglers Notch trails as well. 20 min from amazing coffee and foods in Stowe. Some super fun unique spots on Warren and Watersburry just a short drive for fun day like activities. All in all amazing , well maintained and beautiful property! Would absolutely stay again and will on our next trip up to the area.
