My property is located in Cabot Vermont, 30 min north of Montpelier, I have 17 acres in a very rural spot on a quiet road, but only 2 miles from pavement, easily accessible. I own both sides of the Jug Brook for a few hundred yards, so I am very lucky to have the beauty and wildlife that comes with it. Unlike much of the surrounding area, I have cell phone service (for AT&T), so that is a nice perk. There is a small grocery five minutes away, as well as Harry’s hardware, a great hardware store/restaurant and music venue. If you like swimming, this area has nothing but lakes around every corner.

      We stopped by after the flooding and host was nice enough to let us know about damage and gave us option to reconsider. Bower despite the damage it was a nice secluded spot off a dirt road that was easy to find and easy to get to. Not any fault of the hosts but just an FYI that there isn’t any cell service here so be prepared to be disconnected.

      Perfect island-esq site, mildly secluded & as summer comes more foliage will block your view of the road and vice versa, be prepared to carry gear from your vehicle to the site over short wooden bridge, there was very large fire pit with twigs, branches, and logs provided. I would definitely recommend this site to friends as it was easy to find, in a quiet area, and there’s a general store about 5 minutes away.

      The river and picnic table were great, plus some trails. Overall a peaceful experience. It is right by an occasionally trafficked road.

      Lovely babbling brook and a safe and level place to camp. The water and composting toilets were appreciated. The road is close but there wasn’t too much disturbance.

      Nice area of Vermont. Place gets about 10 cars an hour passing by and you're visible from the road. The hose was a nice convenience.

      I enjoyed my stay at Simon’s site. The site is large, with no neighbors, and (as advertised) beside a babbling brook. You’ll see/hear the occasional car pass by on the nearby road, but otherwise feel a sense of total privacy. Incredible stars if you get a clear night!
