We had a wonderful stay at the farm. Miken and Dave were wonderful hosts and ensured that we were comfortable on a chilly October night. We got a tour of the farm and were able to milk one of their goats. A truly special place with amazing hosts.

We really loved staying here! Nestled in a quiet valley, we stayed next to the creek. Our hosts provided camp wood and even taught us how to milk goats! We really want to come back to spend more time at this spot. It was so nice!

We loved staying at Huntress Haven Farm! Meeting the goats and getting to know them was so fun. Miken was super friendly and accommodating, even letting us use the shower since the barn airbnb was empty! can't tell you how much we appreciated that. The lower tent site was perfect for car camping. We had a great time!

We enjoyed our long weekend at Huntress Haven Farm. Raegan (their daughter) was a great hostess. She showed us around the barn, with goats and ducks, and shared her vast knowledge of them. I milked a goat and we enjoyed her milk. The 2 dogs were welcoming and friendly too. The sites are spacious and have beautiful views of the valley. We also explored the rural area with its dirt roads, general stores, covered bridges, ice cream and a couple short scenic hikes.

Huntress Haven was perfect for our stay in Vermont!! Not only was it beautiful, but Dave and Miken were the perfect hosts! My boys enjoyed helping with the animals, exploring the river, learning to milk the goats, and other activities. We would love to return next time we're in Vermont. ❤️

Our family had the best time at Huntress Haven Farm! Our hosts were so generous with their time and attention and made us feel very welcome. The barn was absolutely magical! It was cozy, clean, and well stocked with everything a family would need for their stay. We were able to get fresh eggs and other items from the farm store, too. The animals are all so beautiful and friendly. We so enjoyed learning about their care and helping with chores. We loved following the stream and the paths, and walking into town, as well. This is the place for wholesome family time, fresh air and healthy activity! At the end of our stay, I was really sad to go! I didn't know how emotional it would be leaving. My kids seemed to grow a foot there, they gained so much confidence! The hospitality and friendship shown to all of us really felt wonderful and healing. Miken and Dave, thank you all so much! You two and your animals and land and village are very special!

Miken and Dave are amazingly friendly people. Besides they explained us everything about their beautiful farm, the offered us anything we could wish for. Nice quite place, mesm3rizing views and so much to do and wonder in nearby places. We will certainly be back later this year.

My family had a blast camping at Miken’s and Dave’s campsite. Dave is one of the most salt of the Earth people we’ve ever met in our entire lives. Couldn’t say enough about the guy. We had a wonderful time. My kids loved the dogs and the goats and the pigs and the ducks they loved everything about this place. They had such a blast. We all did. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality.

We had such an amazing time! Being around all of the goats, pigs, ducks, and dogs was so much fun. Miken and Dave taught us so much about the animals and the area. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!😊

It was wonderful to stay at the bungalow for a second time! Seeing the baby goats was a definite highlight. Super cozy and welcoming, it was easy to feel at home here.

We absolutely loved this spot!!! We had the luck to arrive at the start of kidding season and were welcomed by three newborn goats who joined us by the heater to get warm - the most magical welcome!! Our hosts were so kind, welcoming and friendly, and introduced us to the goats and taught us to bottle feed the newborns. The place is cozy, the bed is very comfortable, it was warm even on a frigid night, and so luxurious to have a warm shower and nice kitchen facilities. But the people, goats and dogs really made the trip. It was the best experience we could have asked for.

My husband and I stayed in our RV which we parked outside of the barn where my mom and sister stayed ( in the perfectly thought out tiny home, built inside the barn!)
We all wished that we could have stayed longer! It was soooo perfect!

It was perfect! The view in the morning of the hills / mountains and mist over the fields!
And top that off with curious goats and a couple of the most lovable dogs ever running over to great us. Followed by Dave and Miken ( the friendliest and most interesting hosts ever)…What more could a person want?

I had an amazing week on Miken and Dave’s goat farm! They were attentive and accommodating hosts, and it was wonderful getting shown around their land and introduced to their many animals. The bungalow had a great bathroom and shower, potable water, a well equipped kitchen, and two super comfortable beds among other amenities. It felt homey and cozy, and I definitely plan to return in 2025. There’s also a farm stand right down the road with great local goods and farm made apple cider. Great location, beautiful area, awesome hosts.

We spend two nights at the farm and had a fantastic time. The campground is very privat and the surrounding countryside just wonderful. We had a nice swim in the river which is directly at the campsite and our kids loved the animals (goats, ducks and dogs). We were invited to pick some tomatoes and pumpkins in the garden and the host showed us around, always willing to tell us everything about the animals and the land. We can definitely recommend this place!

Very nice hosts, they really love their animals and they told the story of each goat's name, it was really interesting. We had very good time with the animals, the dogs and goats are too cute.

What went well? Everything right from the start. We felt welcomed, they made sure we had enough wood for every night we were staying, let us borrow the barn if we needed shelter for the night (we arrived during a rainy evening), showed us around and their animals are lovely. Very generous hosts as well; I have been traveling around quite often imo but Miken and Dave were attentive and welcoming.
We could sense their love and passion for their work, garden and everything they have done. Really, it has been a great great stay. I rarely post a long review but we were more than happy to have discovered this campsite. 10/10 would go back again.

Great spot! Pulled in with my small camper and was created by the host. Parked and got a quick tour. That’s it! Enjoyed my privacy and the environment.

I can not recommend Miken's sites enough! The views are great, the goats and ducks are amazing, and the area is so cute. In all honesty though, the hosts were my favorite part! I got a tour around the farm from Dave who showed me the trails, their garden, and the neighbors farm stand - Chicken Wiggle. Miken is not only the sweetest but she is beyond cool! I got to buy a bunch of her goat products and art pieces, she showed me how to make dried stem cordage, and she taught me how to milk a goat!
I really look forward to visiting again and bringing my family.

My friend and I had the best time tenting at Miken and Dave’s! Not only is the property great but Miken and Dave are the best hosts! They were very welcoming and kind and we loved getting to chat with them. The goats were so rad and definitely brought big smiles to our face. We are already planning a trip back!
