We had a wonderful stay at Dome@Meadows. The site sits in an open meadow right along the First Branch of the White River, and the setting is peaceful without being isolated: Route 110 is right there, and the Tunbridge General Store is only a few minutes away.
Everything was clean and well kept, and the amenities went well beyond what we expected. The picnic table, camp chairs, hammock, swing, firepit, outdoor shower, and solar light with speaker were all there and in good shape, and the disc golf and cornhole were a nice bonus. Nelson and Marie were welcoming and communicative from the start, with clear instructions before our arrival.
The location is a great base for exploring the area. We used it for day trips to Silloway Maple, Chelsea village, and the covered bridges just down the road, all within a short drive.
We cut our trip a night short because of incoming rain, which had nothing to do with the site. Highly recommend, and we would stay again.
Great site everything was as advertised no worries coming back soon. Very cool host.

Nelson’s land is great, lots of games to play, plenty of space to play them. Clean and quiet! Firewood on site. All around great camp!
We had an excellent weekend getaway at this campsite, even with the rainy weather. The property is exceptionally well maintained, and there is no shortage of amenities and activities to enjoy. The host clearly takes great pride in both the property and the guest experience.
When a rainstorm passed through, we were able to relax comfortably under our tent at the picnic table and still enjoy our time outdoors. During the warmer parts of the day, a walk through the creek was a refreshing way to cool off and explore the beautiful surroundings.
We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciate the care and attention that has gone into creating such a welcoming camping experience. We will definitely be back!
Great place! Wonderful amount of amenities saved us from unpacking the rv. General Store was like a minute away and fantastic for breakfast

Meticulously kept, well thought-out private campsite by a beautiful section if the river. A gem. Highly recommended.
I had a short, last-minute stay, and wish I could have stayed longer to indulge in this beautiful place.
(I did have almost 30 mins with a young moose cow who visited the field opposite me, which was special indeed!)
We have stayed several times and Nelson is always improving things at the campsites and we so appreciate that. Very thoughtful and caring conveniences
This place is pure magic. If you’re looking to unplug and reconnect with nature, this is it. There’s no Wi-Fi—just the sound of the river, birds singing, bees buzzing through the wildflowers, and the peaceful feeling of being surrounded by beautiful meadows and towering trees.
The campsite has everything you need. We spent our days wading in the river searching for gems, soaking up the sunshine, reading our books, cooking under the tent, and exploring nearby hikes. Every moment felt peaceful and restorative.
This was our second year staying here, and we loved every minute of it. Next time, we’re definitely booking an extra day because leaving is the hardest part. We can’t wait to come back.

Super sweet clean spot: very well equipped. The host was very accommodating and in communication. We loved it and would definitely return.
This was our second visit to Dome@themeadow. We stayed in site B this year. It was great. We had a little more privacy as you're not across the river from the park. We had perfect weather with the exception of the off and on rain Saturday. We were able to enjoy having fires every night. We even made some delicious food on the campfire - cornbread and paella. We really appreciated the corn hole game and our own portapottie. We love the outdoor shower.
The path around the field has some pretty wild flowers, goldfinches, and adorable groundhogs.
Saturday night we had pretty heavy rains which caused some damage to the property. Nelson and Marie came out Sunday morning to attend to it. While there they helped us locate a Laundromat to deal with wet blankets from our little one getting sick in the tent during the rain. Despite that we had a great time and plan to go back before the season ends.

One of the best campsites ever! Every amenity has been thought of (lighter, chairs, fire tools, citronella, etc) and even some fun surprises (party flames!). As other reviews have said, the sites are incredibly well cared for, clean, great outdoor shower with good water pressure! Porto potty super clean. Love the proximity to the river and the hammock is so well placed. The eggs are great, don't sleep on those!
Spectacular get away place, great for beginner campers with kids and dog, I loved all personal touches and extras provided to the guests. Hot shower such a nice bonus and perfectly clean toilet. Thank you

We stayed at campsite A with our two dogs and had a lovely stay. The river along the property’s edge is perfect for a dip. The site and amenities are great and all very well kept.
Great, comfortable campsite with crystal clear directions. It came with folding chairs, hammock near the river, great showering set up, and plenty of other amenities to keep you comfortable and busy. Would happily return and invite others!
There were updates that made the experience more enjoyable. Porta potty close to campsite. Shower easier to use and an electrical outlet on a pole nearby to charge phones
Such a great place! Stayed during a bike packing trip through central Vermont. Host was so responsive and helpful. The grounds were emaculate. Outdoor shower was amazing. Grounds for playing games and equipment available. Way more than I ever expected.

We loved camping at dome @ the meadows! The campsite has everything you could want and need and is unbelievably peaceful. On a clear night, the sky glows with stars, and if you stay at campsite B you’ll fall asleep to the sound of running water from the stream that’s nearby. Nelson was super attentive to our needs, we had a winter freeze on the first night we stayed there, and the next morning he came to check on us and even brought us a space heater so we would sleep comfortable the second night. Can’t recommend this place enough! Will definitely become a regular camping spot for us.
This is an exceptionally well-cared-for property in a great location for anyone wanting to experience small town Central Vermont. Tons of thoughtful details. We were very comfortable and had a great time!

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite! The place is very clean, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful — the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The host was thoughtful and provided supplies like sunscreen, bug repellent, and sanitizer, which made our stay extra convenient. The toilets and showers were spotless, and we really appreciated the attention to cleanliness throughout the site.
Another nice touch was the solar lighting — enough to guide you safely at night without disturbing the natural darkness and stargazing experience. Overall, a very well-maintained and welcoming campsite. We’d definitely stay here again!
We loved the place. Beautiful area near the mountains, great price, great host, and a great site. The cover over the picnic table was nice, there were outdoor games, a stream running along the site (there are provided river tubes and deeper areas for swimming), a hammock, outdoor shower and pottery, a hose, and a generator. We didn't have issues with mosquitos and the sun sets behind the mountain earlier in the evening, providing some protection from the sun. Overall, we loved this site and we will likely be coming back.
I loved the camp site! The stars are very voidable and got to see my first shooting star! The river access was amazing and the showers functioned every time we used it. There was a gas generator, corn ball, a football, and tubes available to go down the river. He took our trash. There is no trash drop off but there is recreational park we used the end of the trip. There isn’t any cell service so a cell booster may be required but there’s a gas station about 10 minutes away if you do need service. The owner of the land stop down on one of the days a was very accommodating and serviced the land. It is very well taken care of.

We loved everything about Campsite B at dome@themeadows. My family and I camped for my birthday, and we had an absolute blast! The recommended waterfall hike by Nelson is an absolute must!! We went there first thing in the am and were able to do a birthday photo shoot with the waterfall, and it was Amazing!! We loved how campsite B is so easily accessible to the river. We floated on tubes in the sun looking at the beautiful views. They also had all kinds of extras we all loved! Latterball, cornhole, disc golf, a generator(for the air mattress) wood swing, 2 picnic tables, hammock..ect. It was definitely a cozy site. There is one other site, and they are where you can see, but they were respectful and never bothered us at all. Only a porter potty, but kept very clean!! The only thing which was a little hard, was that none of us were able to get any wifi or data service, so we had no idea where anything was once we left camp. (But honestly no cell time was good) I was nervous where we've never used Hipcamp, but it felt very safe. We loved the campsite, and can't wait to go back. We made wonderful family memories for our first camping trip with the two teens!!!

After reaching the geodesic Dome that marks the entrance of the property we found that both campsites were well designed and layout. Our site nestled next to the White River, which invited for a small tubing adventure.
All amenities (and more) were at our disposal as advertised and all was very clean.

We had such an amazing stay! Being right on the river made the trip so special. We spent tons of time playing and relaxing by the water. The campsite itself is full of fun spots to hang out, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. We had a blast playing golf and frisbee golf too! Plus, the Tunbridge Country Store, just a minute down the road, was perfect for grabbing delicious food and ice cream after a day of adventure. A big highlight was the hike at Old City Falls, recommended by Nelson. The waterfall is absolutely stunning and the swimming there is fantastic. Definitely bring a bathing suit! And after all that outdoor fun, having access to the awesome shower was such a treat. We can’t wait to come back!

Well appointed campsite with clean shower. We enjoyed our stay, but be aware that the site is close to a road and is located in an open field, so there is little privacy. Easy to get to and responsive host. We'll come back.
I would absolutely come and stay again! The site was so big and had river access! The facilities were clean and the amenities were so thoughtful.
