Once the site of the historic Gaysville Children’s Camp, this hidden gem is now your gateway to outdoor adventure. We offer 4 campsites, and there is one remaining original Camp cabin tucked into some woods near the front of the property with an outhouse just across the meadow you’ve access to everything there. It is basic with four original bunks and a tent site next to it . Wander 150 of wilderness and scenic trails, enjoy our riverfront and cool off in sparkling swimming holes along the White River. In winter, the property transforms into a snowy wonderland with excellent cross-country skiing. Choose from peaceful tent sites or settle into one of our two rustic cabins. An outdoor kitchen (seasonal) and outhouses are available to make your stay simple and comfortable. Whether you’re here to swim, ski, or just unplug by the river, this spot is a true Vermont escape.

Site 3 is tucked off a trail and into the trees It is a distance from the mainhouse and very private. It is close to an outhouse and our peace pavilion. it is a mild walk back to the outdoor kitchen off the mainhouse. There are no hook ups and there is no shower (yet). There is access to a working sink. You can drive to site to unload - parking is at mainhouse.

Step back in time.....This is the last remaining original camp cabin from the Gaysville Childrens Camp. Probably built in the 30's, restored a year ago. Rustic, charming, sweet, woodsy. It sits in the woods just off the meadow, near the firepit and across the meadow from the outhouse,. It is private, with a Charming forest view out back window, and a tent platform next to it with table and chairs.

The perfect spot for a minimalist! A charming retrofitted former childrens camp cabin with bunk beds and no electricity. The surrounding property is very quiet and begs for exploring. The river is nearby and a beautiful little hike. We cooked outside in the summer kitchen which is stocked with basic utensils and dishes. The refrigerator is large enough to accommodate plenty of refrigerated items... But overall the ambience...the vibe were absolutely worth the visit. Elizabeth is a very accommodating host and made herself available for anything we may have needed! Highly recommend ♡

A spiritual retreat cabin

OG Vintage Campers Cabin With Bunks

The OG vintage cabin was exactly the retreat we were looking for: surrounded by Vermont’s wilderness, easy access to the White River & a variety of surprise amenities like a meditation Spirit tree & yoga on a secluded gazebo. There are trials throughout the property that take you into quiet dense forest & when the sun does down, you have access to incredible night skies free from light pollution. On top of that, Elizabeth’s warm hospitality made this an extra special experience, with just the right frequency of check-ins to ensure we were warm enough (provided extra wool blankets) & well settled with coffee & tea from the main house. Her vibrant spiritual energy was infused onto the entire property & we had many meaningful conversations & reflections by the fire pit, which she so graciously provided fire wood for us. I will be returning very soon and how to experience this sliver of paradise in every season!
