Because our area is not as well known as other Southern Utah destinations, you won’t find crowds, even in peak season. We loved this clean park with hookups for our rig and awesome views! Staff was friendly, showers were good, and even the onsite BBQ was descent (we had the smoked chicken!). They have some nice curated items in their gift shop too so be sure to check it out.

Great location for touring Capital Reef and surrounding area. The back sites on the fence are the best but there is no walking/hiking to speak of out of the campground. Property is well kept, bathrooms/showers clean and nice. The one big drawback was that the dump station doesn't have water so it's really not usable. We just pulled in to one of the sites that had sewer hook-up, glad one was empty.

This is a nice place - they have showers, a restaurant, even a big gift shop. The site itself isn't that interesting, but the back side looks out on the desert. You can bike into town. The hosts are nice. Their cinnamon muffins are really good!

This campground was amazing! The staff was very nice and helped with anything we needed. The showers were very nice and clean. The restaurant on site was delicious. Would definitely stay here again!

I would leave a review of zero stars if I could. This place is miserable and very cold. They rent out the public space in case of rain so I had no location to stay except my tent. Not a lot to do nearby. Would not recommend.

Camping near Flaming Gorge

Sites were well maintained. Most had trees that gave partial shade. Park staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi was decent. In fact on this trip (coast to coast and return) it was among the best we encountered. The campground is surrounded by a split rail fence and beyond the fence you’re on Forest Service land so your dog can be off leash. The campground is only a few minutes from the dam and visitors center at the south end of Flaming Gorge.

We had a great experience tent camping here (family of 5, 3 being children). There are showers, restrooms, a laundry facility, swimming pool, playground, little convenience store at the check-in building, and fire pits. Everything was very well maintained and clean.

Our dry site was great! We had a beautiful view of the canyons in the distance, had a great meal at the bbq place on site, enjoyed the pool, and washed off all of Bryce Canyon’s dust in the shower :)

Such a beautiful camp site! The ground was great for setting up camp- not too soft of dirt that stakes don’t stay, and not jagged poky rocks that risk puncturing things. The view from the tent side was the best!! In the mornings there were stray rabbits grazing in the grass- loved the sink for washing dishes and they keep the bathrooms really clean too. Loved our stay! Torrey is also the cutest little town!

It is a small rv park, with a friendly staff in the office. It has a beautiful view to the north and is very quiet after sunset. They also have a small BBQ restaurant inside the park that serves a decent selection of smoked entrees.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean and well tended and the hookups worked. We didn't have shade and the spots are quite close together otherwise it was quiet at quiet time which was nice.

Sites were pull in/pull thru. Nice showers and laundry room. Pretty views. Even has a bbq restaurant in the campground. Camp sites are very close together though. Still a great stop to shower and sleep!

Great place close to Capitol Reef. Clean bathrooms, hot showers and good BBQ with vegetarian options on site. Mechanic right next door adjusted our brakes for us.

Amazing views. Great BBQ restaurant. Clean and well maintained. All sites on gravel, so no tracking dust/dirt into your rig or tent. If tent camping be aware, you will need padding.

Well maintained RV park, friendly hosts, and very clean heated bathrooms. Has a restaurant, laundry, pool, gift shop, playground, and basketball court on site! Super close to Capitol Reef NP.

Views are very beautiful! Campfire wood is cheap! It was great to have a roof over our heads on a couple of very windy nights (vs. a flapping tent!) Unit was very clean as were the bathrooms! One of the two showers in the Men’s bathrooms only produces cold water, so there was a wait at times. Beds are comfortable except for the plastic covering.

This place was incredible. Friendly tip— we learned when we got there it is cheaper & easier to change reservations if you book directly with the park rather than thru hipcamp.

This was our first time at a large RV park and it was a positive experience. It was very quiet and clean. Our only criticism was as the laundry facilities. They have two laundry rooms with 2 washing machines and dryers each, but on the day we wanted to do our laundry, only one dryer and one washer in each room were functioning so there were several people waiting. Other than that we can recommend this place.
