We had such a great stay! The tipi was a really cool and unique camping experience, close enough to Moab to get to everything easily, but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle of town. It was peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for.
Our favorite part of the trip was definitely Ringo, the sweet dog on the property. He “showed us around” and played with our dog the entire stay. Watching them run and explore together was honestly a highlight.
Danny was incredibly kind and hospitable. He checked in on us, made sure we were comfortable, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his guests having a good experience.
We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

A great spot located about 30 mins of Moab. Had everything we needed. Danny is an awesome host. Would definitely stay again :)

The set up inside and out of the tipi was so nice and welcoming. Danny was so friendly we really enjoyed visiting with him. And of course who can forget Ringo. Such a great pup. I loved spending time with him.

Danny was amazing! I love camping and staying at places where hosts put in effort to create a relationship with the people staying. We loved Ringo (the dog) as well and Danny even offered us some fresh veggies from his beautiful garden. I honestly cannot wait to come back to Utah just to hang out and stay a couple nights. 11/10 and 6 stars (out of 5). If you love people, dogs, farm animals, gardens, and watching the sun rise in the Utah desert, this is the place to stay! Thank you Danny. We’ll be back.

Camping in Danny’s Tipi was a great experience! Easy to get there, Danny was very friendly and helpful. Loved the animals on his property as well, would highly recommend trying this spot out for an arches or Utah trip.

Loved the rustic vibes of the site with quite a few farm animals to play with. Danny was super accommodating and had shared clear navigation directions to reach. It was a fun little trip for us with beautiful views very close to the Arches National Park.

We stayed on Danny’s land for Memorial Day weekend. It was perfect to be out of the craziness of Moab and have some quiet. The view of the stars is amazing, and the sunsets are gorgeous! Danny is extremely kind and can give you any information you need on the area.

This was the perfect spot for us! Danny and Ringo were so friendly, we felt very safe and welcome. Danny has everything you need, the stove for cooking was especially nice. This is a beautiful spot and we would definitely stay here again.

Such a fun experience! This was my first time solo camping and it couldn’t have gone better. Danny is a great guy and really goes out of his way to make sure you’re comfortable and have everything you could need. Meeting all his animals was so much fun as well!

Such a great stay and highly recommend! As someone who travels solo, it’s so nice to find stays that make me feel safe. Danny is such a kind host and is a big contribution to why I felt so safe. Ringo & the animals were fun to be there and made the stay so unique. Teepees we’re set up great, felt cozy, and the art on them- you’ll have to ask Danny about, it’s beautiful. If youre looking for a stay that will fill your heart, experience nature, and have access to amenities- this is it!!

Danny is the kindest, most genuine man I’ve ever had the pleasure to spend a couple of days with. His campsite and property are truly beautiful. He has infinite wisdom and great story to share. Ringo the dog, Hazel the goat, Paco the Alpaca, and the rest of his animals are all so fun to hang out with too. He was so hospitable and friendly. Truly the best campsite I’ve ever stayed at.

Danny has a nice place to camp out at. I did the tepee, it was fun and was setup nice when I got there. He let me feed his alpaca which was a bonus.

I had a great time at Danny's place. I was greeted by the property manager Ringo who showed me how to get to my spot 🤣. He's the best dog and loves to play fetch and follow you around.
Danny is great and so friendly. He can help give you different places to explore.
I stayed for 3 nights but knowing what I know now should have stayed at minimum 5 nights to do more exploring of the area. Will definitely need to come back.
His property I feel is pretty central to all the spots I wanted to visit. Moab, Arches and Canyonlands (either entry his property is not too far away).
The porta potty was clean and tp well stocked.
The great bonus were his farm animals and getting to feed them.
I car camped here and felt safe as a solo camper. The sunsets are breathtaking and there is very minimal road noise and the occasional coyotes howling in the evening. He has tee pees also available for an add on which I may check out at another time.
Would definitely recommend this camp site.

We had such a fantastic stay at Danny’s place for our group climbing trip. Do yourself a favor and spend some time with him: he’s fantastic! He took us to check out a Boulder/crack climb that was off the map, gave us the lay of the land/history, played guitar with/for us as we packed up, and even left us fresh salsa from the garden after our long day adventures. Ringo, the campground mayor, was so sweet. Can’t wait to return!

What a fun and magical evening!
It began with being greeted by Danny and his dog, Ringo. What a great human being Danny is. He was incredibly accommodating and even shared some goodies from his garden.
The outhouse was amazingly clean and absolutely no smell whatsoever. The teepee was great. It got windy in the middle of the night, but you couldn’t feel it at all. I left my phone outside all night and did a time lapse video. I woke up this morning and was so excited how it turned out. I have never seen stars like I did last night at this property. I one million percent recommend this hipcamp!
