James was a very nice man. He helped us find the best spot for us. The location was perfect for us. A half an hour from Moab and Arches and 1.5 hours from the Valley of the Gods. James even sent valuable insider info for local attractions.

This was a fantastic place to stay. Roomy campsites even for our large toy hauler. Very quiet local with beautiful views of the La Sal mountains. The hosts James and Linda were very friendly and accommodating. 30 minutes from Moab, so away from all the commotion. Great place to stay

James and Linda were super friendly and available if needed. We got in easy (#3) with our 35' + tow. Ground was flat. W/S/G all good. Easy paved road there and nice gravel last block. RV Garmin took us to house next door but you can see RV park . You want quiet, this was it.

We liked that the camp was remote. It was very quiet and you got the feel of being in the desert. The hosts were there for us as soon as we arrived. The sites are spacious and the services are good.

Gem of a Spot

Definitely off of the beaten path and a great retreat from the busyness of Moab. The location is easy to get to and driving distance to Canyonlands, Arches, Moab, La Sal mountains, jeep trails, etc.

Fantastic stay!

We loved camping in our travel trailer on James and Linda’s land. The views of the La Sal Mountains were spectacular and the camping was peaceful and quiet. James and Linda were very kind hosts. They provided us with awesome suggestions of places to visit and for things to do. When we return to this area, we will definitely stay with them again!

Nice rural setting that was mostly quiet. I say mostly due to the neighbors dog(s) barking. James and Linda were very nice and extremely helpful with suggestions on what to do while in Moab and surrounding area.

Summertime fun

Jim met us when we pulled in. Very warm welcome. The view of the southern end of the LaSal Mountains is great. Lots of area close by to explore and kept us in a nice, quiet spot when at the RV.

It is a lot, really close to neighbours and in a rather derilict environment. Not what I expected. The hookups were fine. The host, James is really nice and gave US a lot of information about the places to go, especially Arches National Park.

Great communication with hosts, even shared some helpful tourist information. About 30 mins to Moab and 45ish to Arches. Site 5 was large and spacious with plenty of space for our fifth wheel and tow vehicle. Site was remote and quiet with limited cell service but Starlink worked great.

Camping with La Sal Mtn View

Nice friendly owner. Only a few sites. Nice view of the La Sal mountains. Full Hookups worked great, wifi worked, and there was a tiny store within a few miles that sold gas, ice and a few groceries. The area is rural and that might not appeal to many, and at after a long day out in Moab area, it could feel a bit tiring to drive out to La Sal. However, we were there to explore the Needles District and it served us well. It was also about 10 degrees cooler at the site than Moab. It also afforded us the opportunity to go drive up the La Sal Pass to explore the beauty on the mountain (Medicine Lake) and do a wonderful forest hike; we also drove the gorgeous Dark Canyon road towards Geyser Pass. Not only was this area spectacular, it was so much cooler up there at elevation. I would stay here again. Just be aware, it's in a rural area and it's not for everyone.

Awesome place away from Moab!

We were SO HAPPY to find this place away from the hustle and bustle of Moab! James was an excellent host, sharing a map and many pointers for riding SXSs in the area. We were very appreciative to have found this campground.

Relaxed and Easy to get to.

We felt very comfortable staying at Adventure Haven RV Park. Everything we needed--Electric, Water and sewer hookup...and Wifi! Looking out to snow topped Mt. Peale (I think) was so beautiful. With only 5 sites there wasn't much commotion, so getting a great night sleep was insured. James met us when we arrived and provided documents on how to visit Moab and National Parks. For an out of town view, peace and quiet; visit James and Linda👏

SITE 2 Big RV 30 amp

Very quiet and small place. Great road to walk the dog on as very little to no traffic. Beautiful view of the south side of the La Sal Mountains. Very friendly campers as well. And James met us right at the driveway to make sure we got into our site. Rather remote so if you're looking for quiet, this is the place!

Remote and Peaceful

James’s place the perfect home base for exploring Moab and the surrounding areas. We had everything we needed and James was the perfect host. Very quiet and remote location. About 30 minutes from Moab with little cell service. Beautiful location and the stars at night are incredible.

Peaceful Place and Excellent Host

This was a great and peaceful place. Highly recommend! It is dark and quiet at night. Views of the La Sal mountains during the day. James is an excellent host and has a wealth of knowledge. He provided information on things to do in the area. We did almost everything on his list. There is so much to see and do. In addition to Arches and Canyonlands, take the time to explore Monticello Frontier Museum and Welcome Center, Natural Bridges, Moki Dugway, Valley of the Gods, and Bluff Fort. You won’t be disappointed. James provided clear instructions on how to get to the park. He even took the time to call us since we were coming in the back way from Ridgway CO. Hookups worked great!! Space between the sites was so nice. Thank you James for providing a great place to get away for the noise and crowds.

Adventure Haven was a beautiful RV park. Small, clean, not crowded, quiet no road noise, and dark at night and affordable. Centally located to Dead Horse Point, Canyonlands Needles and Island in the Sky distict, Moab, Arches, The Las Mountains and the Abajo mountains. James was extremely helpful to me as a first time RVer. He helped me set up and back out. Had a great time with just me and my wife. I give it 5 stars. I definitely will come back

Great base camp near Moab

SITE 2 Big RV 30 amp

25 minutes south of Moab, 30A electric, water, sewer, WiFi, views, quiet, safe. James is a great host & wealth of info. Spacious sites & just 6 so never crowded. We tow a 30' camper w/an F150 crew cab long bed. My backing skills are fair, not great. I had no problem getting set; lots of space for the truck, chairs, table, slide, awning, lots of elbow room. LA Sal is a laid back rural community w/o much commerce. If you need a Starbucks & McDonalds within walking distance, La Sal isn't for you. No bathroom at Adventure Haven but water/sewer hookups work great. Cheap LPG nearby. No recycling nor composting but plenty of trash cans. We needed a safe, quiet place near Moab to base our adventures from & Adventure Haven is exactly that. Thank-you James, we'll be back.
