Semi-retired couple who wishes to share a bit of their country paradise with others. We enjoy traveling the world and love to meet others who share the same joy. Come on out and get some rest and relaxation, enjoy nature and all it has to offer. We've lived here 10 years and enjoyed our little piece of paradise, raised two boys, now they are grown and we'd still love to enjoy watching others have the same pleasures we did. Fishing, swimming or just a place to rest your head while you sight see during the day. 45 minutes from downtown San Antonio, Sea World, Six Flags, BAMC, and Lackland AFB. 1 hour to San Marcos outlets. Just 1-1/2 hours to Austin and the Hill Country, 2 hrs to the beach. Close to lakes, rivers, a golf course and Nature Preserve. ER and 24 hr clinic, grocery, dining and laundry is a 5 min drive.

    We loved the quiet location with beautiful pond and outdoor kitchen area. Our host was fantastic.

    Relax next to a small pond or have a beer under a covered patio. If you're looking for a summer hang out, this is a great place! There are trees for hammocking, picnic tables for sittin, and thick grass for camping. The RV spot is large and has all the necessary hook-ups. The campsite is adjacent, tucked next to the fence. I will say, however, that this site is not very private. It's mentioned in the description, but there are two homes on the property as well, and both are a stone's throw from the camp site. Just a FYI! We were there in the blustery winter, but I can imagine how beautiful and warm this site would be in the summer time! I would highly recommend this site for families. There's a gate separating the camping area from the pond, and an outdoor kitchen for use by the pond.
