Peaceful, Primitive Campsite on Quiet Family Land Escape the city and unwind on our private Texas homestead, a serene spot where you can pitch your tent beneath beautiful oak trees under wide, starry skies. This is true primitive camping: no hookups, no frills—just space to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the sounds of nature. You may wake to the clucking of chickens, spot curious barn cats roaming through camp, and often see deer moving quietly across the land at dawn and dusk. The property is peaceful and quiet, with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the surrounding Hill Country scenery. Families are welcome, and kids love watching the animals and exploring under the oaks. While it feels like you are away from it all, town, groceries, and gas are only about a 15-minute drive, making it easy to grab supplies or head out for a meal. Come camp simply, breathe deeply, and experience a laid-back country stay on our land.

Deck Among the Trees is a hand-built 25 x 25 wooden platform tucked into a quiet grove, giving you an elevated place to camp off the forest floor and away from road noise. To reach your campsite, you will follow a simple, hand-built path that winds through the woods, letting you slow down and ease into the trees before you even set your gear down. Shaded by the canopy and set for privacy, this spot is designed for campers who want to unplug, listen to wind in the leaves, and enjoy calm mornings and peaceful nights. It is an ideal setting for stargazing from the deck, stretching out with a book, or sharing unhurried conversations surrounded by the sounds and stillness of the forest.

Stillness Under The Oaks

Stillness Under the Oaks is a peaceful, shaded campsite nestled beneath a canopy of mature oak trees, perfect for campers looking to slow down, unplug, and listen to the sounds of nature instead of nearby roads or crowds. A short walking path leads from the parking area back to the site, and a sturdy wagon is available so you can easily haul in your gear, cooler, and firewood in just a trip or two. At camp, you will find a designated fire pit for cozy evenings by the flames, which can be used whenever local fire conditions allow and no burn ban is in effect. This simple, quiet setup creates an intimate forest retreat ideal for stargazing, long conversations by the fire, and a good night’s sleep under the oaks.
