A blend of woods and grassy spaces along the slope toward Center Hill Lake, this 2.3 acre property sits about 400 ft above the lake surface. The land between this property and the lake is privately owned and the shore is managed by the Army Corps of Engineers. The lakeshore is mostly rocky and governed by the wildlife which make it their home. There is, however, a small boat launch just minutes away on another point into the lake. Dogs are welcome to frolic there as well. This property also offers lodging in a cottage called The Charming Tiny House Cottage (video: https://youtu.be/fbXngtMQj8s). Currently, this property does not have tent or RV camp sites.Embraced by nature on a wooded point above Center Hill Lake, this cottage features a living area with a kitchenette, a small master suite of a bedroom and a modern bath with a walk-in shower. Under sheltering pine, poplar, and hickory trees, this intimate getaway offers quiet and comfort along with small rock gardens adding color and texture to its surroundings. It is elegance with simplicity and style. Although the lake is not visible from the cottage, you can walk the slopes toward the woods and the lake for various views of the lake, especially toward the large island. The area has such beauty, lush and vibrant, no matter the season. This cottage is brand new, made ready for you only in early 2025. I'm glad you found this woodland treasure; I look forward to hosting you! The living area has a comfy love seat and a coffee table with a top that can be lifted to become a workstation or an artist's table. A computer workstation with a pull-out seat stands in a corner. Also available are WiFi and a TV. The kitchen has a cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, plus dishes, cookware, drinkware, flatware, and other items. In the bedroom is a full size captain's bed with a bookcase, three drawers and a charging station. Just off the bedroom, the bath has a sink, walk-in shower, and toilet. The onsite owner can meet additional requests, even for pets, and can offer a laundry facility -- washer, dryer, plus a pet washing station. Activities and destinations abound -- hiking, boating, swimming, water skiing, kayaking, canoeing, bird watching. Destinations include Burgess Falls State Park (20 min drive), Cummins Falls State Park (40 min drive), Window Cliffs State Natural Area (12 min drive), Edgar Evans State Park (35 min drive). Cookeville and Tennessee Tech are 30 min away. The Appalachian Center for Craft is a 35 min drive. A small boat launch is just a few minutes away, on a lake shore. Wildlife flourishes here. It's their home: birds and deer, rabbits, squirrels, turtles, frogs, chipmunks, fireflies, plus lovely butterflies in the spring. This tiny house is perfect for a couple or a lone visitor seeking quiet and tranquility. Please visit this link for a video: https://youtu.be/fbXngtMQj8s
