The sounds of the farm in the distance—chickens clucking, goats bleating, turkeys gobbling—add a rustic charm without intruding on your privacy. Site Features: Overlooks a spring-fed pond with active bird life Fire ring available for evening campfires (firewood available on request) Flat, grassy ground ideal for tents or small vehicles Quick access to farm hiking trails and scenic spots Picnic table & trash bin (optional – just let us know) Guests are welcome to explore the trails, say hello to the animals (from a respectful distance unless on a guided tour), and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of farm life. Farm-fresh eggs and seasonal produce may be available upon request. Shady Rest
This is a fabulous camping spot. The host is friendly and cordial. The location is convenient to necessities, i.e. Walmart, Lowes, Planet Fitness, etc. It's a working farm, so don't expect a quiet setting. While it is serene, there's lots of animals and the noises they make. It's awesome!

Camping was easy and the host was welcoming and introduced us to all the animals. Even accommodated our late arrival. Our tent camping wasn't very private, more like camping in a private yard at a hobby farm.

I had a very peaceful stay. Personally, I love the sounds of alert farm animals. The place was very easy to find and access the campsite was easy. The place gave me a very peaceful sense of security for a few days, to leave my stuff unattended while I researched more permanent local areas. Jacob is a great guy and is there to help anyone, the best he can.

The view was breathtaking and the night so peaceful. There was a constant stream of dogs and cats coming by for pets - all very well behaved, so basically the best time.

This farm was completely lovely, even more so than I expected. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. My only regret is not getting there sooner so I could enjoy the farm more. I was just passing through, but if I had a weekend or longer trip I would definitely stay here the whole time, it is perfect.

This was a great campsite! It was very private yet safe. The farm animals are super cool to see and we got a tour of the farm as well. There are hiking trails, fishing, and more. I definitely recommend this campsite!
