My family and I recently settled on a 70-acre property and are in the early stages of developing into our dream homestead and campground. Spencer Ridge is currently wooded except for the clearing where our sites are located. We have three (3) level, gravel sites with FHU. Just 20 minutes from the breathtaking Fall Creek Falls State Park, Tennessee's most visited park and home to one of the highest waterfalls east of the Mississippi River, Spencer Ridge provides a perfect base for exploration. Conveniently situated, our property is only 95 miles from the vibrant city of Nashville, 70 miles from the scenic charm of Chattanooga, and 112 miles from the bustling city of Knoxville. Spencer Ridge is also ideally located 15-20 minutes from Sparta, a charming small town with local shops and fare. For more extensive needs, Cookeville is just a 30-minute drive away, offering a variety of commercial businesses, dining options, and shopping centers. Very nice spot in rural eastern TN. Lots of woods and trails to explore in this quiet peaceful neighborhood. Mike and his family were so helpful and accommodating. This spots close proximity to Jerry's Lefty Guitars brought us out that way and we will surely be back. Thanks again Mike

Mike was one of the best hosts on hip camp that we have had the pleasure of meeting, he was very attentive to his phone and gave us updates of the weather days ahead of time. Because there was a tornado warning and strong winds, we decided to get a hotel and he did refund us for that night while offering us an extended stay. Upon arrival he showed us around the property to all of the sites on his 72 acres, some were located by the creek, while others had a view on top of the ridge. He even offered to take us to falling Creek falls State Park and show us around. He informed us he was putting a lot of work into expanding and adding new additions as well. I 10 out of 10 would recommend staying here.

We stayed the previous week and just were not ready to leave yet! Hosts are fantastic, super helpful, and very knowledgeable! They have a large acreage we were able to explore to our heart’s content, and their future plans for the land are awesome! This already great camp is just going to get better! Gated site was very well-graveled and level with full hookups. We had to perform some repairs on our camper and hosts were kind and helpful. There is so much in the area to explore! We were able to check out some state parks and see some beautiful falls. Can’t wait to roll back through and see the progress they’ve made!

Fantastic hosts who went above and beyond to accommodate us. Hosts are super responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. Location is beautiful, quiet and safe. Close to state parks and about 30 minutes from Cookeville, which has shopping and restaurants. We have enjoyed this location and hosts so much that we decided to book it for another week! Looking forward to staying here again in the future!
