East Fork Stables stands out as a premier destination for trail riding enthusiasts, offering an expansive 12,000+ acres of privately owned land with over 100 miles of diverse trails on the western edge of the Cumberland Plateau. Since opening to the public in 1994, this remarkable facility has quickly gained a reputation as one of the best trail riding venues in the state, thanks to its stunning natural features and well-maintained trails. Visitors can explore a variety of attractions, including picturesque waterfalls, scenic wagon trails, breathtaking overlooks, and unique rock formations. The trail system caters to all skill levels, featuring both challenging and easy paths, as well as open fields and level terrain. Wildlife enthusiasts will appreciate the abundant fauna, including deer, wild boar, turkey, and the occasional black bear, making every ride a memorable experience. Over the years, East Fork Stables has expanded its offerings to include five campgrounds with a total of 160 sites, five barns with 224 stalls, and a pavilion equipped with a commercial kitchen. Guests can enjoy two bathhouses, one of which includes laundry facilities, and a spacious 150’ x 300’ riding arena complete with an obstacle course.
