For those looking to get away for a few days or a few weeks, Buffalo River Resort is a great family friendly place to go camping, kayaking, and tubing, along with many other activities. If you want more than the primitive camping option, you can take advantage of one of our cabins or our lodge. You may also enjoy our RV lots, each site equipped with 30 and 50 amp hookups. For the month of October - we are hosting our first haunted hayride/woods - the MOONSHINE MASSACRE. We will have a fall festival type event in our arena area and the haunted hayride/woods is located riverside. There is an additional charge for this event. Tickets available on site or on Eventbrite. Tent camping will be limited due to the event but we will have areas designated for camping.

Perched on a scenic hillside overlooking the heart of the Buffalo River Resort, The Lodge offers a unique blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Originally an old restaurant, this building has been thoughtfully restored into a spacious, inviting lodge - perfect for family gatherings, group getaways or a peaceful retreat. The Lodge features four full queen-size bedrooms, two of which include additional twin beds for extra sleeping space. Each room is equipped with its own TV and DirecTV access, ensuring entertainment for all guests. Guests will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen stocked with all the essential utensils, dishes and cookware needed for preparing and enjoying meals together. The Lodge also includes two full restrooms, complete with fresh linens for your convenience. The original bar and commercial coolers have been preserved, adding a nostalgic touch to the rustic atmosphere. Relax in one of the three plush leather couches or take in the fresh air on the expansive wrap around porch, featuring two porch swings, 8 rocking chairs and two picnic tables - ideal for outdoor dining or simply soaking in the views. Additional amenities include a propane grill, a corn hole set and a firepit out front - perfect for evening gatherings underneath the stars. Whether you're looking to reconnect with nature or unwind in comfort, The Lodge at Buffalo River Resort offers the perfect setting for your next adventure.

GREAT spot! Perfect place to disconnect, beautiful views, lots of privacy and the buffalo river is incredible! Huge space to wander around and fun during Halloween time! Would recommend a stay if you’re wanting to relax and disconnect!

The staff at the Buffalo River Resort were very professional ans accommodating. I needed to change my reservation last minute and thwy were happy to accommodate the change. While thwy weren't able to offer me a refund they instead gave me a pass to float the rover free of charge.

So sweet. All the people who work there are very kind, its a cheap camp where you set up where you like, i camped along the beach which seemed like you could swim, you’re left alone the whole time you’re there, and maybe i came on a good weekend but their bathroom amenities are better than they disclaimed!! 😂 Warm showers, bathrooms, super cool. Theres a Dollar General 4 minutes away if you forget anything, stars at night are awesome. Love places like this, it was a great first stop for my trip ♥️♥️ Shoutout to Ms Niki, lovely woman.

If you’re looking for summer party vibes, this is your place. If you’re looking for peace in nature, this isn’t the place. The tent sites are not marked out they’re just wherever you can find a spot. I had a very loud group of adults come in beside me around 8pm and they did not stop drinking, yelling, and blaring music until 2am. If you are going with a group of people and don’t mind about privacy, this would be a great place. I would recommend getting there as soon as check in starts to get a spot set up before you’re stuck with whatever is left.
