Good RV site and location, easy access to power/water. Nice touch with covered patio. Wide concrete slightly pitched, required side leveling… easily fit 32ft C nosed in to enjoy more door side patio and yard.

Quiet, peaceful, just really nice, we sat outside under the new shelter and listened to the rain and thunder. Close to places we went and visited. This was our third time to stay here.

Spearfish canyon is a very special place and June & Dave’s place put you right there. Very nice property and super convenient. They have a very nice concrete pad with good tasting water & power. We enjoyed playing horseshoes in the little meadow beside the pad. Unfortunately, one of the shoes broke so we bought a new “competition level” horseshoe set as a replacement so the next hipcampers can enjoy a game for years to come.

We recently stayed at this camping spot while exploring all things South Dakota. The location couldn’t have been more ideal from the Badlands, to Mount Rushmore to Devils Tower! Our campsite offered just the right amount of privacy, with a beautiful vista that really enhanced our experience. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking, making it a peaceful and picturesque place to relax.
A special shoutout to Doug, who checked in on us during our stay. He was an absolute joy to talk with and made us feel right at home...along with his doodle Fonzie.
A bonus was being so close to Cheyenne Crossing, where we enjoyed some incredible food. The Fry Bread taco is a must-try, and don't miss out on their delicious fry bread dessert! This spot truly was a perfect home base for our travels in the area, and we can't recommend it enough.

Site very convenient on concrete slab.
They provided us potable water.
Very quiet.
The surroundings are astonishing.
They only suggestion would be to put a Garbage container ( not a commercial one but a medium size domestic one) to allow us to put our litter in.

June is a gracious host. Our site was accessible, and in a remote and beautiful area of the Black Hills. As stated by other campers, there is no shade, so prepare accordingly. There is a slight lateral slope on the pad and you'll probably need an extension to plug into the post. Confirmed there is a water source by the pavilion, but no direct hook-up. Considering the remoteness of the area, we had many visits from support staff, and other helpers.

Very quiet, secluded and beautiful. Would recommend for those who don't want a lot of other people around. Saw deer every day and even a wild turkey came to visit us. Internet was in and out, however and it was a distance to the nearest town. There was a restaurant and gift shop very close which had great food. Would highly recommend.

There is no shade at all. The meadow they mention is grown up. The electric post was in rocks and weeds so concern for snakes. Backing out is tricky. It was clean. There was electric.

This place is in the middle of several nearby attractions, Deadwood/Lead, Spearfish Canyon, and close to Mount Rushmore / Rapid City and all that is there. It was always nice to come back to a relaxing safe place.

We stayed here as our base to explore Lead, Deadwood, Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore areas. It was just what we were looking for; a safe place to leave our trailer for full days of exploring. We appreciated having electrical hook up, water availability and a place to dump gray water. June was very quick to respond to questions.

While the grounds are pretty and well maintained, the site is basically just someone’s driveway. While the host returned my phone call immediately when we found the driveway blocked by construction equipment, it would have been good to know the situation before we pulled in for the night.
In addition, I was charged $5 more (as noted on my credit card statement) than what my confirmation email stated, I have no idea why.
The site was ok in a pinch for a quick night’s rest, but I wouldn’t recommend it for any stay longer than an overnight.

It was an awesome place. Very clean. Plenty of room for both of our motorcycles as well as the fifth wheel and the truck. Nice patio as well. Would highly recommend!

The site itself is beautiful with wildflowers on the hill on the backside and views of the Black hills in the front.
Getting into the site with our 5th wheel was a challenge and had it not been for another camper we would have given up. It was advertised as a pull in site which we assumed meant pull through. No, it means back-in by backing camper up hill to get it turned around to back into site. Once you do get into the site it's great. We would have really appreciated a picnic table though to eat outside and enjoy the beauty.
