Beautiful Sweetwater Lake Campground offers RV sites ( short term and long-term),803-387-1375 All inclusive glamping tents for rent. All RV and glamping lots overlook our 40 acre private natural spring fed lake. Rv sites have water, electricity, and we have a sewer station. All glamping tent sites come with a queen size bed, crisp, clean linen,, two hammocks, grill, fire pit and firewood. There is a private fishing area and basic necessities,. Bathhouse is a short walk. All sites are located right on the water at your own private spot. We are only 1 mile off of I26 in St Matthews, SC exit 139.( located between Columbia and Charleston, South Carolina) Come experience a quiet country setting and amazing fishing experience. No license required and you may keep what you catch! 2 night minimum on glamping sites.

Sweetwater Lake Campground has 24 Large sites on grass with water and 50 and 30 amp hookups. Dump station and sewer hookup for longterm. Bathhouse on property. We love having your fur babies and have a huge area for them to play! Enjoy an amazing fishing opportunity while staying with us, we have a 40 acre natural spring fed private lake with bass , bream and catfish and you can keep what you catch! You do not need a fishing license. Small play area for kids. Long term and short term welcome, safe travels!

Our glamping tents are on the water and come with basically everything you need! Clean crisp linen, fishing rods and tackle, grill ,charcoal, firepit and firewood, fishing is allowed at your private fishing area , you may keep what you catch! Also have 25 rv lots for long and short term! Bathhouse within walking distance. Electricity at site. Safe travels!

Great place to stop on the way to Florida. Kids had lots of fun fishing. The tent was cosy and kept us dry in the rain. The mattresses were comfy, bathrooms clean. Totally recommend.

We had the most magical time at Sweetwater Lake! Olivia was an incredible host; thoughtful, responsive, and truly went above and beyond. The site was stocked with everything you could possibly need for a cozy, comfortable stay. Just bring your own food and you’re set! You can feel the love and intention that’s been poured into this place. It’s peaceful, private, and the perfect spot to unplug, recharge, and reconnect. Highly recommend for a serene getaway.

I enjoyed staying at Sweetwater. It was a beautiful site with lots of songbirds and friendly campers. The site was as described and the hosts were helpful. Lots of history at Sweetwater that I found interesting. Sweetwater Lake Campground has been in the family for 3 generations and it is in the process of being upgraded. Expect more glamping tents and other things soon. I would camp here again.

Olivia was so sweet helping us coordinate arrival at Sweetwater. There ended up being a huge storm so we did not stay, however she was super accommodating and we will 100% be back - it looks like such a sweet oasis and we are excited to fish in her families waterways!

I had a great one-night stay at Sweetwater. The site and the bathroom were clean and well-maintained. There were other campers in RVs nearby, but everyone was quiet. I booked the glamping tent site, but I only intended on using my own hammock in the nearby trees. When the host realized I wasn't actually using the tent, she generously gave me a refund! She was very easy to coordinate with. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely come back to stay here.

This was a perfect place to stop for the night! Quiet, safe, and everything taken care of. She even had a fire going for me when I arrived! I would love to go back when I have more time to spend on the lake.
