A resort in the making

With several RV sites, and more to come, a Yurt and soon to be 3 insulated geodesic dome cabins, you'll think you're in a high end camping resort at Black Pearl Farms. While really you're in the middle of a working berry farm. I stayed for a week in the winter so I didn't get to experience the farm in working order. But I can imagine looking out my window at rows and rows of blueberries and lavender. And just a mile or so down the country road is the upper Edisto River, ripe for kayaking and exploring. I can't say enough about the hosts here. They welcomed me on the road coming in, they checked on me during my stay. And they're building the place on their own. I appreciate hard work especially when it creates a place that's going to be a gem to visit, not that it isn't already! So, if your heading north or south, or even east or west, look for Black Pearl Farms in South Carolina. You'll be glad you did.

Wonderful camping spots on the Edisto river. Owners are very nice and have a wonderful organic farm! You have to try their Blueberry Honey and or Jam.

Awesome site! Great privacy and right on the rivers edge! The farm/campground also have a great shower, laundry machine, bathroom, saunas, farm store to suit all your needs. Host is great at answering any questions in a timely manner and supportive throughout the stay duration

Quiet, rural site. Water and electricity worked well. Sites are well spaced. Sites are sandy/dirt, so be prepared to clean inside your RV several times a day. Host very personable. Wish we would have been there during blueberry season as they are an organic farm.

I highly recommend this spot for camping. The setting, especially along the river, is stunning, the campsites large and flat, and the farm/woods setting is nice to explore. They put a lot of work into the showers and bathrooms. My dog and I really enjoyed our stay.

I always enjoy camping here. The site is private and and adding on firewood saves space in the car. I brought new friends this time and they loved it. Meg is always very responsive. I will continue to come back every year.

I love this Hip camp site! I can't really say enough about it. Although, it rained for two of my three days I still made the best of it. I definitely would recommend for camping, tent , car , RV... They can accommodate you. And there is so much space and trails around the property to walk.

Always a wonderful stay at Black Pearl Farms! Property is well maintained, clean and site 1 woody stream is nicely tucked back from the access road. I initially booked RV site 1 by mistake but might have to reserve that one on my next overnight…looks great!. This place is a favorite stop every time I’m in the area.

Super friendly and welcoming hosts! Our original site was flooded but Mike set us up at another spot still close to the river. Clean bathroom, awesome blueberry picking and we loved the lavender-infused honey, fresh eggs and firewood Mike brought us. Great stay. I would definitely recommend!

It was such an oasis It rained on us and it brought out the skeeters, but overall it was such a lovely place to camp! The owners were amazing and hospital. I wish we could have stayed longer! 11/10 Oh! If you go, be sure to take advantage of their blueberry and blackberry farm!

The hosts are great, kind and helpful. We stayed at site 4. Lovely family, great location. Mosquitos had been a bit annoying due to a flooding couple of days ago. We still would recommend it! Lovely farm, great blueberries We will be back

Mark was an amazing host along with Tim. We couldn't be in our original tent site due to the storms flooding us out, but they were very easily able to place elsewhere. He was an excellent host making sure we were stock with supplies and giving us a daily check in. Plus the extra additives we had such as the farm tour and upick were amazing. Most definitely be back to try again in the future

I highly recommend staying here! We were in site 4 which was right on the water and private. It was our own tiny oasis. We definitely want to come back and stay longer. Host is great and a fast communicator.
