Your stay will be in one of our four safari style Jungle Doubles and use the shared toilet and shower block, giving you and yours a rainforest 'glamping' experience like no other!Perfect for couples who want to save their pennies while getting back in touch with nature in the raw, our Jungle Doubles are part of one Safari Hut building split into four so sharing two common walls with other Jungle Doubles. If you want more privacy look for our Tropical Cabins (one common wall) or our Rainforest Bungalows (standalone buildings).To maximise your rainforest immersion experience the rooms are minimally furnished with just a bed and mozzie net plus a table and chairs on the verandah. This as with the whole of our lodge, allows you to focus on re-wilding without any of the distractions of modern life. The shared toilet and shower block is only metres away for any midnight dashes. If you want modern cons please don't book us you will not be happy in our re-earthing environment.Our lodge also boasts a cafe, bar, swimming pool, pool table, darts, self catering kitchen and lots more .Please note food storage and eating are NOT are allowed in the bungalows to ensure we keep the jungle inhabitants out of your space. The lodge provides a self catering kitchen for storage and preparation of food and a large common area for eating and hanging out or you can eat from our yummy cafe. Guests are encouraged to digital detox while with us however a charging station is located in the lodges common area. To control energy use and noise there are no power points in the bungalows. Water conservation is important to us too so shower times are limited to 7-10 AM and 5-8PM - toilets and taps work all the time.

Daintree Jungle Doubles

Concerns about heat and humidity and mossie nets were unnecessary. Great nights sleep after nighttime 2hr guided nature walk of jungle ("forest" seems inadequate). Did not realize that Sal has her own kitchen and cooks gourmet resto dinners. Likewise breakfast looked great but we had fixins for our own bacon butties.
