Beautiful 160 acres at an altitude of 4500' above Ashland, Oregon. Enjoy a 100% off grid experience with a classy and private campsite on Thrive Ranch. Experience the peace and quiet (except for the frogs) on this beautiful property. Each site includes a private secluded space to set up camp, we include running water and a fire pit. We provide the first night of firewood with more available for purchase. We are all about peace and respect for the land and each other on Thrive Ranch. Please be expecting to exist in the same type of space while here. No loud music or huge ruckus'. If you have the need to create a space for a larger group where you can celebrate and make some noise just let us know, we can probably accommodate with special arrangements and at a different location on the property. No road noise at all, we are out here and the only thing you will hear at night is bugs and frogs. Maybe a moo or two occasionally during grazing season. We named all our sites after past and present pets that we hold very dear to our hearts. It was that or some kind of hairy fairy names that you hear everywhere else like serenity or solitude.....blechh... We have a stream that flows year round, a 10-12' sheet waterfall with a swimming hole and a glorious 100' waterfall to hike to, stand under or just sit and enjoy. We have a pond that we are currently developing as a contributing recreational space. We are adding value at a very rapid pace and will be adding to the description as we do. If you book a month out don't be surprised if we have added an outdoor kitchen. Our real toilet outhouses have been added to 3 of our sites. So much cool stuff to do on a really magical property. We want to share so come enjoy. Not one of our campsites are in view or proximity to the others. Very private and lots of solitude. We (as hosts) can be as present or invisible as you like. Access to miles of trails and roads on BLM/Forest Service land for hiking, ATV's, motorcycles and off-roading. Please know to explore responsibly and at your own risk to preserve the land and keep yourself safe. You are also welcome to explore the property with the exception of one space on the upper portion where the owners reside. Views are beyond and nothing man made that is not on the property is visible from the property with the exception of one little red light on a US Cellular tower across the valley. We currently do not provide electricity at the sites but it is in the works. We have both available a short walk from the camp site in a common area. The power is limited to charging tech, some laptop time and the like, It wont run a hairdryer, etc. The WiFi is common use and has the ability to download and make WiFi calls. No guarantee of its suitability for any particular purpose, it will depend on usage in the moment. There is little to no reception up here so please plan ahead. US cellular has property and valley wide reception but that is the only one. Verizon can send texts and messages but is painfully slow or non-existent on internet. Also has voice calls occasionally but don't count on it. All the other cell services we do not know about. If you would like to spend a week or more here and would like a better power/internet solution then let us know. We can set it up for specific needs. Good if you wish to be in an amazing space to work remote or write. We are adding decks for lounging and views, a solar and wood heated community Jacuzzi for our guests and an outdoor shower tub as we speak and will add pictures as the projects are completed. We welcome ATV's, side by sides, 4x4's, snowmobiles and other such fun rec stuff but will require you to ride/drive on the bazillion acres of BLM land. It is on two sides of the property and a short distance. Riding on and off the property is limited to 10 mph to limit dust and noise and safety for everyone on the property. Please let us know if you plan on bringing any toys so we can notify the others on the property and send additional info, rules and such. There are several wineries on the road between us and Ashland. If you get drunk please arrange a ride or contact us for help. We support not driving while under the influence and will support you. we also have several responsible persons that live on the property and can be hired to drive/guide you on tours. We are in the process of creating wine tours of the valley which will include a driver. We have several lakes within 10-30 minutes for boating, and other water sports. Rock climbing is also available with the local sport crag within 25 minutes, castle crags is about 2 hrs away and several other small crags and bouldering around the valley 30 min.-1.5 hrs. Instruction and guiding are available if you or your group would like to learn. Equipment provided. Inquire. We can provide certain camping amenities if you need them. We have: $15 3-man tent $20 4-5 person tent $30 10-12 person tent $10 Double cot $5 Air mattress $5 Propane camp stove $5 Propane lantern $10 Propane heater $5 Sleeping pads $10 Double sleeping pad (Thermarest) $5 Sleeping bags. $45/day Small inverter/generator (quite and good for charging and running trailers etc) Fuel included. $? Climbing equipment if you are an experienced climber. (up to a full trad rack) All items are of good quality and can be rented. They can be either left at the site for you or set up when you arrive. Stoves, lights and heaters can also be provided with propane. If you are a Shaman and would like to discuss a space to do Journey's then please reach out, I would love to connect on what you would require. We would like an excuse to move that project to the top of the list. If you are a facilitator or train then the same as above. We would love to make arraignments for kids groups, camps, music festivals and workshops. Please be aware that there is little to no cell service up here if you get lost you will have to back track, find service and contact us and we can help you find us. If you'd like, tell us when you are turning onto Dead Indian Memorial Rd so we can expect you in 30 minutes, if you don't arrive we can go looking for you. Please just let us know and we can send directions. Google maps will take you right to the property, we've found that other navigation apps will take you the wrong way. Dead Indian Memorial Rd. Is a very good two lane rd. Some steep grades but qaulity pavement. Internet available for all sites at a centralish location. There are some small trout in the stream but only throwback size so far. Grow fishy’s grow!!

Camp Edy is a beautiful site located on the lower part of the property right next to Ellick creek. This is a dry campsite meaning there is no running water, amenities or cell phone signal. Phone signal is available on upper parts of the property depending on your carrier so please plan accordingly. Parking is available right above site. This is a large off grid extremeas in wild nature property so please take caution of children and pets. Your property will be safe and your privacy respected. Very tasty potable water can be delivered to the site in 5 gallon jugs (we have 4) and can also be obtained by campers from a centrally located property spigot. 25 yards from the site to the water. Internet is also available in a central area on the property.

Camp Dougal has room for up to 10 people and 2-3 vehicles. Site has fire pit, picnic table and potable water spigot. Real toilet outhouse complete and ready. Good turn around parking loop for trailers and RV’s. Lots of shade and a big sprawling footprint. Numerous tent spots and superb privacy. This kid the RV comparable site that is closest to the water, about 1/4 mile. Internet available for all sites at a centralish location. There are some small trout in the stream but only throwback size so far. Grow fishy’s grow!!

The Zoey site has the ability to hold 4 peeps. A small RV trailer or popup can also be parked. 16' or less. Please let us know if you plan to bring one. Real toilet outhouse complete and ready. Pets are good unless they hassle others or wildlife. Must be friendly to man and animal. Off leash is allowed and encouraged unless your animal is not socially mature. Please be responsible. Water is at the site in the form of a spigot. There is a picnic bench and fire ring. Internet available for all sites at a centralish location. There are some small trout in the stream but only throwback size so far. Grow fishy’s grow!! We named all our sites after past pets that we hold very dear to our hearts. We had such a great time at this Hipcamp. This was our first hip camp ever, and we were so pleasantly surprised. This piece of land is really nice and we arrive to a beautiful campsite with flowers, firewood, and impressively- a working real toilet. The host was super nice and would definitely stay here again

We loved our camping trip! The campsites were very spacious, secluded, and having an outdoor bathroom and potable water was a dream! There were a ton of trails to roam on the property and we checked out the swimming hole and waterfall. Great location not too far from Ashland. Great spot for a couple of nights away.

Second time staying here and it was just as awesome as the first! Brian is such a sweet guy and we had a lovely conversation with him, very greatful for his hospitality and kindness. Camping here is private, comfortable and relaxing. We hope to get to come back soon!!

Lovely property, evergreen and mixed forest, quiet, secluded, bursting with birds and flowers (we visited in June). Campsite has spigot, fireplace, and a picnic table. Brian and his cohost Jessica were great hosts, available if you want to chat, unobtrusive if you don't. They also supplied a map of the property showing the dirt roads and lanmarks. We hiked, rode mountain bikes, napped in a meadow.

The hosts at Thrive Ranch are very kind, attentive and communicative. I appreciated the opportunity to connect with Jess and Brian, who are both genuine, lovely people. Sociable, yet conscientious so as not to intrude. I was taken on an awesome tour of the land. There is much to be done to elevate it to an acceptable model of stewardship, though the intention seems to be present. I wish them the optimum support with this endeavor as it is indeed a very special place! They’ve created a nice campsite with Dougle. Thank you for everything. May our paths cross again…

Quiet Retreat in the Forest.

We had an amazing two-night stay at this campsite and highly recommend it! Brian and Jessica, the sweetest hosts, were incredibly welcoming and provided us with a detailed map 🗺️ and fantastic tips for our stay. The campsite itself was wonderfully private, complete with a bench, toilet, and water. We also had the pleasure of meeting Blue and Ruby, the host’s lovable dogs. They were such a joy, and it was heartwarming when they came to say goodbye 🥲. Don't miss out on stargazing at night – the sky is truly magical! And make sure to explore the stunning scenery around the area.

A lovely hidden gem!

This camp is an absolute gem. It’s close enough to Ashland to go experience the town, but properly tucked up away into the wilderness and really feels off-grid. Brian and Jessica are THE BEST. They greeted us, escorted us to our site, and even constructed a flush toilet outhouse before our very eyes, an amenity we weren’t event expecting. The STARS here - incredible. Each site is secluded and private from others, and the sites are LARGE. Brian and Jessica were a wealth of knowledge about the land, offering up tours of the on-site waterfall and other attractions in this vast property. And so many additions are in the works - we can’t wait to come back and visit and see what they’ve built. This is already a stellar site, and only getting better by the day with the work that they’re putting in. Highly recommend!

Brian is a fantastic host and his property is gorgeous! Brain met us at the entrance off the road and lead us right to the campsite, it felt like we were driving into a magical land. He told us how to get to the river and waterfall, made sure we had everything we needed and left us to enjoy the beautiful pine forest. The campsite was perfect, we picked a spot for our tent and settled in quickly. Building and tending fire is a big part of me and my partner's spiritual experience when camping, and there was plenty of firewood and kindling to collect so we could really connect to our fires. We made it down to the river twice during our stay, a lovely walk and a peaceful river, we didn't go down to the waterfall but we saw it, so gorgeous! On our last full day we were blessed with the company of two of Brian's dogs who went to the water with us and hung out at the campsite, they are so well behaved and such a delight! We really enjoyed our time here and were grateful for the peace and quiet, and for Brian checking in to make sure we were happy campers. I see this being a place to return to again and again, and Brain has some big plans for the land that will be awesome to see come into being. So grateful for this experience!

Brian is an awesome host with a beautiful property. There are a lot of great views he's happy to guide you to, or give directions. We tent camped at Camp Edy and it turned out to be an ideal spot for our 10x12 tent. The site is reminiscent of what we would choose when we do dispersed camping. We didn't hear anything other than nature the whole weekend and fell asleep to the sound of the creek. The water Brian provided was as good as it gets. The picnic table and fire ring were a nice touch.

We had a great time staying at Dougle on Thrive ranch. Brian and his partner were very welcoming and friendly. They gave us a tour of the land and were very responsive to our requests. The campsite feels very remote with no one else around. There's a flushing toilet outhouse and running water, which is a really nice-to-have when you're tent camping. They also supplied fire wood for the campfire. We had an issue late in the evening where the water line broke somewhere upstream on the property, and Brian worked on it till after dark to ensure that it was working for us. The feel of the campsite is very quiet and great for stargazing. The only thing you'll hear are crickets, frogs, coyotes, and the occasional cow from the free range land in the distance. I would definitely recommend staying here for a peaceful, private camping experience.

An absolute gem

We enjoyed a rather short weekend on Brian's land, but it truly made an impression! This site has complete privacy and there is so much space at the campsite, you will never want to visit a conventional campground again. We loved being high up on the mountain, having no neighbors next to us and a huge area for our dog to roam free. There are trails all over the property to explore, including a phenomenal waterfall hike and a cool, small stream where my partner happened to catch (and release) a small trout. Pretty cool! Brian and his partner were so helpful and made sure we had anything we could possibly need throughout our stay, including trash pickup service whenever we needed it! They even offered to give us a tour all around the property on their own time. We got the sense that these are two super down-to-earth folks who really just want to share their little slice of heaven with others who will appreciate it too. Give this place a try and you won't regret it! If Brian's hospitality doesn't win you over, the on-demand (potable!) spring water, internet capability (for a small fee), and flush toilet will do the trick! Oh and don't forget to look up after dark for an incredible display of stars. We'll certainly be back!

We loved staying at Thrive Ranch! It was beautiful, secluded, and had just the right amount of privacy balanced with the hosts being very responsive and friendly. We brought our bumper pull trailer to stay in, and Brian accommodated us with internet at the site so that I was able to work remote during the week we were there. The accomodations were perfect, and fit every need we had. We make regular trips to Ashland, and are so pleased to have found a spot where we can bring the comfort of home (and our dog) during our stays. We will definitely be back every time we're in town.
