Charming Aspen Grove
Spent one glorious night in the Aspen Grove. What a peaceful place to spend a night. You are literally out in the middle nowhere. Nikki is a fantastic communicator. We reached out a couple of days before our stay to ask about the Bootleg Fire and the presence of smoke. She replied within minutes and indicated the wind was blowing towards the east which meant away from Aspen Grove. We were skeptical at first thinking she could have been sugar coating the situation so we wouldn’t cancel. To our delight the conditions were exactly as Nikki described them. We had star filled sky and stayed up late star gazing. Oh I almost forgot be sure to take the fresh bread and fresh eggs add on. We are still enjoying the bread.

Charming Aspen Grove
The property was beautiful, but quite a far drive from the main road. We made the mistake of arriving after dark, had to drive a long distance through dirt roads to the campsite, then realized we were the only people staying there. Definitely our fault for arriving so late, but all the factors made for a nervous night!

Quiet and private stay
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Charming Aspen Grove. We stayed there for one night. The quiet and privacy made it a tranquil experience. Thank you, Nikki!

Charming Aspen Grove
We thoughouly enjoyed our night in the Charming Aspen Grove; room for the kids to run and explore, a beautiful sunset, spectacular stars, and, best of all, away from it all. I was very glad I downloaded the instructions before hand, as there was spotty cell service. I am also glad we ordered some of Nikki's delicious homemade bread (yummy), delivered to our campsite fresh out of the oven. We were pleasantly surprised to awaken with cows and calves grazing around the campsite (my kids will be talking about this for years!)

It’s a must!
The meadow offered lots of space. We took full advantage of the picnic table. It was fun to be greeted by cows. The outhouse was clean and composting toilet was easy to use with clear instructions and all necessary items.
Be sure to take Nikki up on her offer of jalapeño cheddar bread. We weren’t planning to get bread or eggs, but the reviews suggested it and the order did not disappoint. The hosts were attentive and friendly overall with a clean space.
Great access to the OC&E trail for exploring on foot or by bike. We also enjoyed Klamath Falls for a day where we caught trails at Moore park and played some disk golf. Great exercise to work off our breakfast. If you’ve not been to The Waffle Hut, it is a must! One of the better breakfasts I’ve had in a while and hands down the best waffles ever!

This campsite is a hidden gem! The meadow is surrounded by trees and the cows were an added bonus. They left us alone, but they were fun to watch. The site has a picnic table, fire pit, and outhouse. The hosts were very attentive. We had some questions before arriving and they were answered right away. We ordered jalapeno cheddar bread and eggs and they were delivered as soon as we arrived. The bread was even still warm! It was absolutely delicious. We recommend staying here if you're looking for a serene experience away from the hustle and bustle of busy city living.

Lovely campsite near Crater Lake
Relatively easy to find and it felt like we had the whole area to ourselves, even with another pair staying at a nearby site. They provide a fire pit, so we were able to enjoy one despite the area's dry conditions - being able to have wood provided was def worth it. Clean composting outhouse, and the stars were absolutely beautiful at night. I'll definitely be saving this one for the next time I head up for hiking at Crater Lake NP.

Highly Recommend
This place was exceptional. We were a bit weirded out because it seemed like the middle of nowhere, and we almost didn’t catch the road to turn onto (it didn’t immediately show on Google Maps). The open space was wonderful for our tents, and since we stayed for multiple days, Nikki was totally fine with us leaving our tents out. That was a huge convenience. The hammock set up was nice (with the add-on, of course). The firewood was such little cost to have things set up. That was the nicest outhouse I’ve ever personally used. And the stars were serene, we saw several shooting stars each night.
Highly recommend this spot. I would just recommend to people going here to 1.) download the Google Maps offline, it’ll save you, and 2.) make sure your vehicle is okay on a bit of a rough dirt road. That was my only real complaint, just that we didn’t know how rough the road would be. Fortunately I had a high suspension minivan so I didn’t care, but I’d be prepared if your vehicle is too low clearance or if you want to completely avoid scratches from small rocks.

Great Stay 10/10
It was beautiful staying here! The host Nikki had everything set up for us and her instructions were very clear! Really felt like we were sleeping in an empty meadow just me and my friend. Stars were awesome too

Great basecamp in Southern Oregon
We setup a basecamp in the Secluded Meadow for 6 day so we could explore the Southern Oregon Area. We rode our bikes from the site to the OC&E trail, drove to Crater Lake for the day, visited Train Mountain, Collier Memorial Park and just hung out and relaxed at the site. We highly recommend ordering the bread and eggs and in fact we placed two separate orders and we were glad we did. The site was as advertised and wonderful to stay at with numerous birds and a few cows with calfs that wandered through the meadow.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to bypass it. Wish I could be more helpful.

This secluded gem is perfect if you like solitude, bird watching/listening, stargazing, hiking and old rail car trail and gracious hosts who hand deliver fresh bread, eggs and firewood direct to your campsite. What a wonderful discovery! Thank you Nikki and Canaan, for a great Easter weekend.

Perfect, private spot
This spot was exactly what I needed on my way back to California! While I never interacted with the host, I actually preferred to just be left to my own. The site felt private which was perfect for my needs. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relatively remote and private camping experience. I also conveniently ordered a bundle of wood from the host which was there (along with a bucket of water) upon my arrival. It was a lovely evening listening to the aspens and the owls, and playing my uke around the fire.

The site was large and quiet with a picnic table, trash bin, fire pit (with a full bucket of water for extinguishing) and an out house. The private road leading to the site is well maintained and easy follow.
Shortly after arriving, Nikki dropped off the warm zucchini bread. Highly recommend it, it was delicious!

Great spot if you have a good car
Nikki was a great host! I got in an hour after sundown and got extremely lost but I messaged her on the site and she was able to respond really quickly!
FYI, the GPS coordinates take you to the point on Bliss Road were you turn onto NF road 330. Make sure you go onto 330! NF 320 is right across the road and I accidentally went there first and got lost.
Also, NF 330 is a dirt road with fairly uneven terrain. If your car doesn't have great clearance, you may want to find a different spot. I have a Mazda 6 sedan and I felt VERY nervous the entire time.
Also, make sure you get the bread and eggs from Nikki! They were great!

Charming Aspen Grove
The directions Nikki gave were excellent.. I actually did not get lost! And Nikki was very responsive to a couple of questions I had. Site was well-maintained. Very quiet, lots of birds before sunset. Quite a few insects but they disappeared at sunset. Probably a great place to set up a telescope but I was exhausted after a day of driving to bother with mine. The only criticism I have is that there is a dead Aspen next to the campsite with a possible widow maker up there that is significant. So best to look up before you pitch your tent. I never met the hosts.
