Obsessed with this Hipcamp site! It’s the most peaceful getaway that is the perfect mix of camping and glamping. Michelle is a fantastic host and I always feel safe here even as a solo woman traveling with a dog.

The cabin and surrounding property was so wonderful. Close to town yet it felt like we were far far away. And it all to ourseleves!
So many thoughtful amenities such as towels, tea and a tea pot, cooking oil and spices. Books and board games.
It was clean and welcoming. The water felt great and was ready for us to spend all day down at the waters edge. Definitely will be back and would recommend this to anyone wanting a special getaway.

Very peaceful and quiet. The cabin was clean and came with everything we needed to make our stay cozy including coffee and tea. Our dog loved being able to be off leash so he could wander around. We had a great time splashing around in the pond and river and found a crawdad. The one thing I would maybe change is that I wish the cabin had blinds or curtains so we could have slept a little longer.

The cabin on Michelle's property was the perfect stay, close by to Silver Falls State Park.
Our dogs loved it, and we had a great time.
In late July, the creek was a little low and slow, but there was plenty of shade.
We really appreciated the water, and the Blackstone, and hope to make it back sometime soon.

This place is amazing. Everything that we needed was provided. No need for bug spray, but they provided it anyway. We played in the water all day and say by the fire all night. Dogs loved being able to run free without bothering other people. Blackstone was great for meals. We didn't have kids with us, but the water is great for kids! We will definitely be back.

This little cabin alongside a creek connected to the Santiam River was truly blissful. The cabin itself came with many amenities already, like a Blackstone, cookware, cups and plates, etc., so not much is needed from a packing perspective. There's a sizeable fire pit just a quick walk down a path on the beach of the creek, with plenty of chairs to accommodate guests and soak up the serenity. The watering hole was just deep enough to be swimmable for our pups, Harrison and Alfred, two lab mixes. For a deeper (human) swim, there's a pathway you can follow on the other side of the creek that drops you right along the Santiam River. If you don't like the bunk bed setup, make sure to bring a smaller air mattress, but we found them comparable as is. Definitely a 5/5 experience for us, and we can't wait to come back to this little getaway!

This rustic cabin was way more comfortable than it looks on the pictures. The river is beautiful, there is a little island you can wank around on and get accross to the bigger part of Santiam river on the other side.
You would never imagine that there is this little slice of heaven on this farm, it's hidden from the road. My dog and I loved it, you can just sit on the porch and listen to the birds. It seems that quite a few solo women and their dogs stay here and it's super safe and peaceful. Michelle responds way faster than I've ever seen from others. Highly reccomend.

Serenity is the perfect word for this special space. Michelle was an amazing host and we had a great time. From roasting marshmallows to playing in the water, or even just relaxing on the porch, this cabin had everything we needed to kick back and enjoy the beauty of it all.

Couldn’t ask for a better trip. Michelle’s description of the site was 100% accurate and the directions/rules were clear and easy to follow. There wasn’t a single second during our visit that we felt unhappy with the spot. 10/10.

Cute cabin and very private! Sitting by the creek was so relaxing. Everything was clean inside and well stocked! Definitely a rustic experience (outdoor bathroom, no running water or refrigeration), but lots of comforts! The fresh flowers were a lovely touch!

This is a great site!
This was our second time camping here in less than a month. We didn’t use the cabin due to having our trailer but looks really cozy inside!
The water access and large field for our dogs is perfect. The host is very responsive and accommodating. We will be back!

Third time visiting in the last year. I always enjoy this place even in the rain. I brought my lab and we enjoyed the river and the quiet. I will certainly be visiting again.

Had a lovely and magic time with my son and pup Mishka! Heard owls hooing to one another at night, birds singing during the day, and water rushing all from our little cabin. We cooked a lot with everything provided (besides food), read from Short Stories of the World, played board games, and made art. Mishka got to run around free in the field and in the water. He looked so happy and cozy by the fire my son made. It was an amazing visit for connecting to one another and with nature. Thank you so much! We will be back some day 🌻

We really enjoyed our stay! We didn’t use the cabin because we had our trailer but it looked very nice.
We loved having a large field available to run our dogs. The portion of river that is part of the site had one section with a deep enough pool the dogs could swim in.
Private, pretty scenery and very peaceful. We will definitely return!
Excellent communication with the host via the app.

The cabin is really cute and is on a lovely spot right by the creek. It's a little more equipped than you might expect but still feels like you're unplugging and away from it all.
We had some issues pop up on our end that created a hiccup with our travel plans but the host was very accommodating and understanding. We would love to return sometime

Great, quiet spot perfect for our family with younger kids. Had everything we needed for cooking and a bonfire, as well as enough space the throw down an air mattress. The fresh bouquet of flowers awaiting us was such a sweet touch!

Our stay here was amazing. There was a ton of space for our trailer or extra tents, secluded and private, but only a 10 minute drive to town if needed. The cabin is right on the river and there is a very, very, short walk to the campfire ring set up right on the river edge. The cabin had pretty much anything you could need. Michelle was great at communicating. We will definitely be staying here again.

We had a wonderful time staying here with my family. The kids had a blast exploring and playing by the water. Camping chairs were setup for us down by the river. Plenty of firewood for late night campfires. The cabin was beautiful and had all the amenities you would need to cook. We loved it a lot and want more to come back here soon again.

We brought our three small granddaughters—ages 8, 6, and 4—for a "first toe in the water" intro to camping. They are city bred and nervous of the dark, non-flush toilets, and possible crocodiles. Santiam Serenity was perfect for them. The shallow water of the river sideslip was safe for play and the smooth stones fun to build with. We saw minnows, a garter snake, and deer, but nothing that roared or stung. I made an expedition with the oldest (Balboa in Panama!) to discover the wider river. If we came again we might try fishing.
The cabin made a cozy retreat from too much camping. It is more commodious than it appears in the photos. Our host, Michelle, has provided pretty much everything a visitor could require, as well as thoughtful extras like boxed games and a vase of fresh flowers. We were a fairly large group (7 people) but, honestly, I think a couple could arrive with no more than their toothbrushes and a change of undies and be perfectly comfortable.
