What a beautiful private cabin for two. We had a wonderful time. We walked along the trails nearby and made a lovely dinner. It was so peaceful and quiet. Thank you Brian!

Perfect autumnal rainy getaway with the pups! The cabin was cozy and quite private, but close enough to town that we could make a quick trip to pick up the pancake mix we’d forgotten (oops!). Comfy couch, sweet bed nook, and plenty of trails and spots for the dogs to explore.

Magical cabin in the woods! Relaxing and peaceful with trails to explore. Very pet friendly! Great hosts and all the things needed to cook meals to enjoy by the fire on the porch at night. Highly recommend and will be making a return trip!

A wonderful and much needed break! Came here for my dogs “Birthday weekend” haha. We had lots of fun exploring Rainier and the surrounding areas. The trails of the property were also fun to walk through! Pistachio had lots of fun and I’d happily tuckered out! We hope to be back again soon!

Our second time here didn’t disappoint. We enjoyed the solitude plus getting important R&R that we desperately needed. Brian is an amazing host as always and we know we will be taken care of at the sweet little cabin getaway. Our dogs loved their time at the cabin and exploring the property. Visiting the river and the coast nearby was also a bonus

My Husband and I loved this retreat into the woods! Our dogs had the time of their little lives. We enjoyed walks on the trails, picnics in the meadow and cozy nights in the cabin. Brian did such a good job creating this space and provided more than we expected! We will definitely be coming back. 10/10

We absolutely loved this spot - one of our favorite stays ever! It was exceptionally quiet, clean and cozy. We felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and serenity of the property - sitting on the porch watching the sunset, listening to the crickets, and watching the friendly deer eat blackberries. The trails behind the cabin were lovely for a daytime stroll and lounging in a sunny clearing.
Brian was such a friendly and welcoming host and made us feel comfortable and taken care of. We loved every second of our stay and cannot wait to come back!

This cabin is amazing. VERY private and peaceful. Glamping at its finest, plenty of rustic outdoors but loaded with the comforts of home. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker (with coffee) and a really luxurious bathroom and shower. The cabin is cozy and so serene. Brian, the host, is super nice and welcoming. You can tell their family really loves this place and has made it extra special for guests. The property is really amazing as well. I hiked a few laps through blueberry alley and meditated/practiced yoga up in a really cool meadow above the cabin. If looking for a safe and cozy place to unplug and reset, this is it! I will definitely be back!

It was amazing staying at the Cheerfull Hillside Studio. It was 2 adults & 2 small dogs & we had plenty of space. The cabin is off the grid if that is what you are looking for. Like we were. The host Brain and his son AJ are host helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was everything I needed and more. Peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature—it felt like a true escape. My dogs absolutely loved it too, which made the stay even more special.
Brian was incredibly kind and welcoming. He took the time to show me everything when I arrived and made sure I knew I could reach out if I needed anything. His communication was spot-on and made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed.
It was the perfect place to reset, and I’m already planning to come back for a longer stay. Can’t recommend it enough.

This was such a great experience for us! we have a reactive dog and haven't been able to go camping or travel much with her due to her behavior. The cabin was isolated up a hill with hiking paths and lots of shaded grassy areas so she had a great time wandering around with us and relaxing on the porch. The cabin itself is just perfect, and of course I have to comment on the incinerating toilet. That was quite the experience but super easy to use. We drove into Rainier for meals this time around but next time plan to pack food and cook there. 10/10.

This site is perfect! Brian's property is expansive and lush, with the cabin tucked away over a hill, giving a lot of privacy. The cabin has everything: toilet, shower, cooking/eating utensils, burner stove, towels, and even some seasonings!
I got to meet Brian and he is just so sweet and very informative. He made my boyfriend and I feel so welcome. Will definitely be returning.

This was an amazing experience. My husband and I found this cabin to be relaxing, clean, and charming. It was the perfect amount of modern to not be work, a shower, running water, heat. But it also had no internet or phone which allowed us to completely unplug. It had been so long since we had that chance we almost forgot how. It is a place we will be visiting again!! Thank you Brian for creating such a lovely experience.

Peace on Earth offered the relaxation I craved on my solo weekend getaway. Brian was a friendly host who texted to check in when I was getting close to arriving; he was waiting for me when I arrived. He carefully showed me around the cabin he'd built and made sure I felt at home. It's clear that a lot of care went into crafting this beautiful wood cabin. The bed alcove, surrounded by windows with views of trees, offered an ideal place to journal or read. I wish I could have stayed longer! Thank you!

This was a perfect change of pace from city life! Great balance of amenities in the cabin versus solitude of the woods. The host was super nice and made sure I knew how everything worked before leaving me alone for the weekend. My dog also had such a happy time running around the property and relaxing in the cabin. I highly recommend this spot!

The space was quiet and cozy, I was really happy with the dishes and utensils provided. I was able to make posole from scratch on just the provided dishes (it was delicious!). The shower was GREAT, the incinerating toilet was a fun novelty, super simple to use. I was nervous about it but it was one of the better “off grid” bathroom solutions I’ve used. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I just felt totally at peace not to mention the privacy provided by the hosts was just really much needed.

The stay was lovely and Brian is such a great host! The shower was amazing and the cabin is very secluded and quiet. The firepit was so nice to hangout during the night, everything was clean and the bed was so comfy! Thank you Brian for this wonderful stay we will definitely come back.

The cabin on the hillside was as described. It was fun to go "glamping" and have a comfortable bed, toilet and shower for the creature comforts. The incinerating toilet was a trip! Great to not have to worry about sewage but just slightly annoying to have to listen to the fan for about an hour after "flushing" the toilet. The fan noise was probably more noticeable because it was so peaceful and quiet at the cabin. Privacy was great and watching the night stars were amazing. Brian was a fantastic host making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

This was an amazing place to unplug and relax! The cabin is nestled back in the trees up a long road from the main house. Lots of privacy and I felt far away from the busy world even though I could just walk down the hill and connect to Wi-Fi if needed. Brian was a great host, welcoming if I felt like going down to the barn for socializing or to ask a question. The cabin had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay, already thinking about when I can go back!

This place really was a special stay for our little family. Dog and four year old had a blast exploring the various fields and paths. Great base to get to all kinds of places nearby as well, we loved going to Beaver falls about 25 minutes down the road but there's plenty of closer activities too. Wonderful hosts, would definitely love to stay again sometime.

We loved our stay at the cabin! Exceptionally cozy and well situated, it had loads of privacy and everything you could need. Our pups loved getting a chance to play and explore the paths around the property, we could have spent all our time here. It was a great jumping off point for fishing and hiking around the area and we will be booking again.
