Joshua was able to accommodate myself and 5 friends for our stay; we enjoyed 2 campsites for 3-1/5 days! Although it was rainy, having firewood available onsite for purchase allowed us to camp in "comfort" with a fire even after we consumed our original purchase of wood. It's evident that Joshua maintains the trails, campsites, and grounds to a decent standard!

The view of the river from our campsite was beautiful. Like the description says, there are other camp sites close by. But the way each site was tucked into the trees it felt very private.

Even on a rainy weekend outing this place was incredible. The host was very welcoming, the site was clean and gorgeous. I would highly recommend camping on Joshua's land.

This was a beautiful and peaceful place. The sites are big and private. We fell asleep to the sound of the Sandy River. Joshua was welcoming and generously helped us bring our gear to our site. Being sturdy shoes or hiking boots for the hilly trail that leads to the sites. I look forward to coming again.

The perfect and most peaceful place to spend a few days relaxing. The property and cabin are easy to access, well marked, and lush with beauty. Although this place would perfect for a sweet getaway with a partner or 1-2 friends, I went solo and felt very safe doing so! The bed is also really comfortable. Will definitely be coming back for another stay.

This was my first Hipcamp experience, I can’t imagine a better introductory spot. The directions to the property and site were all very clear and thorough. Carts are provided to haul your gear from the parking area to the site, super useful and easy. The slope down from parking (and the porta-pottys) to the sites is a bit steep, keep in mind if anyone in your party has difficulty walking.
My site (B) was private and beautiful, and it’s obvious that a lot of care and consideration goes in to planning and maintaining it. We added the optional firewood and camp stove rental on to our reservation, and they were waiting at the site for us when we arrived. The views of the river and the lush forest were both really incredible, I can’t wait to return!

What a cute spot along the river. We enjoyed the view, the nature, and the seclusion. The cabin is a great little getaway to leave the city and disconnect for a weekend.

We had a great time here! The private river access was amazing and the bed and cabin were so cozy. The propane grill was a huge plus. It was very secluded and private which was excellent. Definitely a weekend to remember. Thanks for letting us stay, Joshua!

Easy to find but a hidden gem tucked away right off the rushing River. Be prepared to make a few trips to your spot with the provided wagon or pack light especially if you get spot b but the seclusion was worth it . Will hope to visit again

Magical campsite! It’s very private and has an incredible view of the river. We booked Campsite B and felt tucked away in the trees. Joshua gave really great detailed instructions on how to get there and parking, potable water, and trash were all clearly marked. There’s definitely a bit of a hike to get your things to the site but SO worth it for the view and solitude. We can’t wait to come back and visit again!

Gorgeous stay! The property is peaceful, quiet and so lush. Lots of signs with directions, easy access to the porta-potty, and a sink with potable water. The cabin is very cute and comfortable 🩷 we opted to get the extra bedding with pillows and it was totally worth it. The river access is lovely. We also enjoyed the picnic table, the fire pi,t and the little lamps available inside the cabin.
We would love to come back with friends next time!

My husband and I really enjoyed the two nights we stayed on the property. It is literally right on the river with huge trees and old forest surrounding the site. The tent sites are thoughtfully laid out along with two picnic tables and fire pit. The ability to purchase wood multiple times throughout the weekend was top and made for a much more enjoyable stay. The port-a-potty was clean and easily accessible. Pack light because having privacy and river access means you have to cart and hike your stuff. There is a cart to help you. It's not bad at all but halfway up I did start thinking about all the stuff I brought but didn't use. Perfect getaway at a pretty rad price- can't ask for more than that! Thank you for sharing your space with us and I hope to be back soon!

This site is such a beautiful place! The cabin and site layout was thoughtfully designed while keeping to the simplicity of the natural space. Josh was easy to get a hold of, and the signage for parking and directions were super clear and helpful. We added firewood to our reservation, but there was more easily available via a QR code if we needed it, which was a comfort to know. The river is divine, and the whole thing is quite romantic. Definitely would come here again!

Beautiful views and it was nice that they have a wheelbarrow available for you to more easily get all your stuff to the campsite. Would book again!

The three of us and our dog loved camping at tent site B! There was plenty of space for our two tents, and more if needed. The campfire setup overlooking the river was so peaceful. Having the three wheelbarrow/wagons available was extremely helpful and made hauling our gear down the winding dirt trail a much smoother task. We stayed just one night for a Mother’s Day celebration but are excited to book again this summer for a family camping weekend. We never heard the campers down at the cabin site, so the spacing of sites was ideal for privacy while at the same time not being too far of a walk to the potable water and toilet.

Artistic and secluded cabin right on the Sandy River. Deep nature beauty and peace an hour from Portland. Everything you need for comfort glamping. They even shared an extension cord to charge my CPAP battery.
