Peace is what you will find on our property. We have three wonderful listings on this 2 acres of shady trees, cool, quiet mornings and precious wild life. At the time of writing this, we have a momma and her two fawns, a young buck that likes to rest behind our shop, three different turkeys with their young ones in tow, song birds galore, lively grey squirrels and the occasional bunny running through. Most of them love to come to our apple tree where we always leave them water in the summer. People who have stayed here always rave about the beautiful and idyllic setting.

This site is pretty flat, smooth and spacious with a great sitting area with picnic table nestled in a group of cedar trees. The property has an abundance of madrone, cedar, pine, manzanita and oak trees that highlight this wooded location. The pull through spot makes getting in an out of the site relatively easy as long as your trailer is 20' or less. We have had up to 30' trailers, but it's very tight and we don't recommend it. Your vehicle and trailer could get scratches from nearby hard manzanita branches. The gravel driveway coming up to the site is a little steep in one area as you go around a short corner. Trucks, Sprinter Vans, UPS trucks etc... have no problem at all. It's generally pretty easy. We bring our 26' travel trailer in and out with no problem, but I put my truck into 4 wheel drive to get the needed traction. I don't recommend pulling a trailer up our driveway without 4 wheel drive. Traction on the first corner gravel can be a little loose. See pictures to get a better understanding. The driveway is not long. The pictures show the entire driveway. Again, the turn into the pull-through spot is a little tight and there are a few low hanging branches here and there, so I would recommend nothing longer than a full size pickup with 20-22' trailer. Also, we only allow arrivals up until 9 pm at night due to near neighbors at the bottom of our driveway.

Enjoy nature in our new 10X20 Glamping Tent on a semi-private wooded acre. Relax in the evening by the fire or sip your morning coffee outside, enjoying this mostly shaded area with lots of trees and wildlife (deer, turkeys, squirrels, song birds). Sleep well in a super comfy queen bed with soft sheets and a fluffy comforter. Relax on the plush love seat or eat breakfast inside at the two person table. Cook meals on the two burner cook top using Calphalon pans. Invite over friends and sit outside with a place setting for 4. Keep food cold in the mini fridge(with ice trays). And keep yourself cool with an oscillating tower fan. This part of the property stays pretty cool , but it's nice to keep the air moving inside. The property has a gate with a key code and we are outside of town, so you'll feel safe and relaxed knowing that it's pretty private here. If you are looking to be near others in a traveling group, we do have another listing on the property that could keep them near. Not too near if you want privacy, but close enough to walk to. Side note: While this location is pretty private, Stringer Gap Rd. Isn't far from this space. Occasional loud motorcycles and trucks pass by, briefly interrupting the peace and calm of the property.

Relax in a private wooded location in a newer (2020) - 28 ft RV with a full kitchen and comfy beds. This 1 acre location has plenty of room to relax and unwind in relative seclusion. Sit around the fire pit, relax in the hammock, gather around the picnic table or take a walk down one of the trails and visit the neighboring horse. RV has full electric, water and sewer hook ups on site. Inside enjoy bluetooth cd player with indoor/ outdoor speakers, DVD player and 32" flat screen with Chromecast. We also have another listing on the property, down the hill out of view. If you need a place for two more people, this might be your answer. The pond area is sublime & peaceful. This location is a challenge to get to with a steep ascent but it does indeed true you on top of the clouds. Totally worth it! Wine too……a perfect location.

We only spent one night and didn't have time to do any exploring. However, I really, really want to make it back again and spend a few nights. It was absolutely perfect for us. We were in the spot for tent or park your own RV. The RV they rent out is fairly close but the outdoor gathering area for the RV has a fence for privacy. It was so relaxing to just drink our morning coffee in such a beautiful setting. We had a picnic table, water and electricity and even a bathroom (toilet only). Met Aaron in passing and he seemed kind and caring. Definitely would recommend!!

The site was private and peaceful. We had trouble getting our travel trailer up the hill because our suv is only a 4 cylinder. But Aaron was very helpful and pulled us up on the short area of road that was problematic. We saw a couple of deer early in the morning, which was lovely. We only needed a pit stop over night as we were heading down south. So it worked out just fine. We would consider staying here again.

We had a great stay! The RV was clean, cozy, and well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The hosts were kind, responsive, and made us feel right at home. It was also very toddler friendly- my son had such a fun time, and we felt safe and relaxed the entire trip. The location was private, peaceful, and easy to access. We would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet stay!

Glamping Tent in the Woods
I had a fantastic stay here as a solo traveler! A few things that really stood out were the comfortable bed, the fully equipped kitchen, and the availability of drinking water. Aaron was incredibly helpful, reaching out to ensure I had everything I needed. It made me feel recognized and reassured, knowing he was available for any concerns. I felt completely safe during my stay and even had enough space on the patio for some evening yoga. I’ll definitely be returning!

Everything we needed. Quiet, hook ups were easily accessed. Super hot when we were there, so didn’t get to look around much. Love private camping without a bunch of people, so this worked well for us!

The site was exactly what we needed! Aaron met us at the gate and had the water and electricity ready to connect. He was completely flexible about where we put our trailer, and even gave us access to the toilet, a surprise bonus. Even though the sites were all in use, there was no impact at all. We will use again.

Aaron is a wonderful, helpful host. The site is large and quiet, although sometimes you must share it with deer and turkeys ... :-)) I am a writer and the beauty and peacefulness of the place allowed creative juices to flow. Water and electric are easy hookups and there is a picnic table. Wifi is excellent. With unusual extremely hot weather, we didn't explore much. Dumping is a little awkward. Unless you have a mega hose or park just right, you will probably have to move your trailer to dump. We were there for a week and needed to do that. With its easy directions and convenience to grocery shopping, this is an ideal place to get off the beaten path for a while. Thank you, Aaron!

Stunning site
Glamping Tent in the Woods
One of the most beautiful camping spots I’ve ever been to. I liked how the paths were lit and it was a coded gate entry also the host came to meet us even though we showed up late. I can’t wait to stay again. We also saw a heard of turkeys in the morning

Camp Shalom was a wonderful stay! Very peaceful and perfect for our little family of four! The host Aaron was attentive to our needs and made sure we had everything needed to make our stay comfortable! Very easy and clear directions , everything in the RV was labeled and very clear on how to use. Would recommend and stay here again! 5 stars!

Lovely stay, super attentive (but not intrusive) hosts with impeccable directions and instructions. It was absolute luxury in the woods. I didn't need to bring a thing.

This glamp tent is a must!! My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay. It was so wonderful to pull in and camp already set up for us! And Aaron is so helpful and a great host. He had wonderful recommendations for our time in Grants Pass and on the coast. In the middle of our stay he even brought us a deck of cards as we forgot ours. Having a kitchen and running water made cooking so easy. Our best memories were made around the fire, roasting marshmallows. It was the best way to wrap up our amazing road trip through Oregon. 5 stars, 10/10, Camp Shalom is a must!

The site was perfect for our needs. There was water, electricity, and a toilet. Aaron was easy to talk to and he even sold us the best duck eggs we've every tasted for a steal deal! We were near to Grants Pass but we slept like we were deep in the mountains. Beautiful woodland, park-like setting. Gated driveway with few camping neighbors (only two other sites on the property, plus the off-limit owners' home) lent an air of solitude and security. West end of the beautiful Applegate region. Highly recommended!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary by staying in the Glamping Tent. We had an amazing stay! We didn't need to bring anything but our bag of clothes. Tent is well-stocked with dishes. The wood stove was a great touch to making the tent warm and cozy! Great options for sitting areas outside. Restroom was well within walking distance. Aaron was wonderful and quick to respond when we reached out before we arrived. Highly recommend. Would definitely book this spot again in the future❤️

Aaron's RV was very comfortable, clean and felt very private and secure. All the comfortable amenities and more. We even woke up to a small family of deer which was very special. The beds were all very comfortable and it was really nice to have access to an external restroom for privacy. Aaron was a great host and responsive.

Great place!
Glamping Tent in the Woods
This is an absolutely beautiful tent and was better-equipped than many of the cabins I’ve stayed in. Everything from the dishes to the sheets to the outside dining area was top notch. It’s tucked away in the woods and feels secluded although somewhat near the road. The host was super-responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay again!
