Welcome to your tranquil retreat on our 15-acre farmstead, a serene oasis situated near the scenic Umatilla River. Echo, a charming town steeped in Oregon Trail history, is perfect for those seeking a blend of historical exploration and natural beauty. Our farmstead provides an idyllic escape with its downtown proximity yet secluded ambiance, making it an ideal spot to unwind and rejuvenate. Local Attractions: -Echo Historical Museum: Dive into local history with exhibits on the Oregon -Trail. -Fort Henrietta Park: A National Register of Historic Places site featuring the Covered Wagon Museum and Antique Fire Equipment Museum. - Sno Road Winery and Echo Ridge Cellars: Enjoy local wines at these nearby wineries, both within walking distance. - Walking distance to H and P Cafe for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Consider bringing ear plugs. Please note: The Echo Corn Maze is adjacent to the property and is open in 2025 from Fri Sept. 26 — Sat Nov. 8. Hours are Fridays: 2 PM – 10 PM, Saturdays: 11 AM – 10 PM, Sundays: 11 AM – 6 PM. There is a haunted maze Oct. 18, 25, 31 from 7-9pm which could be heard from sites. The sites were as advertised. It's pretty minimal as far as amenities, just 2 porta-potties. But the sites are flat, clean and large. It's literally steps from the town, which was great for the bike race I was attending. The active train line is very close to the town as well (as advertised), so do bring earplugs.

This was our first time using Hipcamp and it turned out to be a great experience. Jesse and I stayed at the Boulder site while we were in town preparing for the Echo Red to Red pre-ride in Echo, Oregon. The location couldn’t have been better—just a few blocks from the start and finish area, which made the whole weekend really easy. The site itself is spacious and worked great for our camper van. Everything was clean, easy to access, and very straightforward when we arrived. The porta potty was close by, which we appreciated, and we loved being able to walk down to the Umatilla River—it’s beautiful. You can hear the train occasionally, but it didn’t bother us at all. Gina was incredibly helpful and communicative leading up to and during our stay. She even allowed us to stay a little later so my husband could finish preparing for his pre-ride, which we really appreciated. Hunter also stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. We ended up staying a second night because the experience was so good. Highly recommend this spot, especially if you’re in town for the race weekend or traveling with a camper van. Also don’t miss the local diner downtown—Butch was incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. We’ll definitely be back.

Great experience we came in the last minute in the evening. It was starting to rain and the owners moved the porta-potty, which comes with a wash station closer to our site. In the evening and overnight, the train came through a few times that it was more nostalgic, then disruptive. We definitely stay here again!

Nice spot. Super helpful camp host provided firewood, which we were too tired to use. Spot was quiet. Restrooms were very clean. We were there on a Monday, so most of town was closed. But very short walk to what looked like some nice restaurants.

This was a solid place to stay for the night. Safe and generally quiet and the camp host was friendly and helped us find our spot - thank you! It's more of a campground than a typical HipCamp and note that the "grassy field" is a bit of a stretch (mostly dirt), but overall I'd stay here again.

It was the perfect place for a fun night with family. We forgot an air mattress and Gina offered one for us to borrow. I loved seeing the farm animals. The train woke us up but it wasn’t that bad. It was easy to get to, well marked and appropriately accommodated for what we expected.

I wasn't sure what to expect, as it was my first time using Hipcamp. It was hot, but the shade came as they have large trees on the Westside of the property. The owners were friendly. All in all a very good experience. I would go back again.

Gina is amazing and so accommodating. This place is quiet and relaxing. Definitely a much better option than staying in the hustle and bustle of Pendleton. We will make sure we come back here and enjoy some of the other events they do throughout the year. You will not be disappointed staying here.

Absolutely amazing! Clean bathrooms, potable water, river walk and farm animals. Very peaceful and quiet. I didn't notice the occasion train and slept peacefully through the night. I loved site 13 as we had a view of the vineyard. Support the towns restaurants. Excellent service at both! We would definitely stay again when visiting the area. Hosts very responsive. I wish them great success in this quirky town.

The host, Gina, was very responsive through the app. We arrived after dark and weren't sure where to go. Hunter walked out to meet us, explained where to drive, and cut through a pasture to meet us there and direct us where to park. We were the only ones there so I can't say what it would be like with multiple campers. The train was loud but only passed by once during the night. Some farm dogs in the area will bark here and there throughout the night, maybe at critters, and got my dogs growling and barking as well. But if you camp with dogs in areas where there are critters in the night, you're probably used to that. The porta potty was very clean but high off the ground. My mom used a log as a stepping stool to get into it. Overall this was a very nice place with friendly people and goats.

We have stayed twice in two weeks on Gina's land. The place is perfect location for our stopover spot between WA and ID. Gina is friendly and has a beautiful farm with greeter pigs, happy goats and bashful sheep. Train goes by and can be seen all along the horizon from the field, however at night we didn't hear it's horn. We will be stopping in again soon.

Even though it was incredibly hot during my visit, I still enjoyed the pasture, the goats, the proximity to a river and the passing trains:) Not quite perfection, but I know owners are working to make it even better. Will definitely visit again!

It was so nice being able to stay on Gina's land. We had a 31 ft travel trailer and Gina was able to accommodate us on one of her many spots since it wasn't crowded when we stayed. Gina was a super responsive and friendly host. Our site was private and had shade. It was nice that we could run our generator because the AC was needed for a bit. It was pretty level, we didn't even try to make any adjustments. We took a short trail to the river with the dogs and even kicked up a deer. They really liked it. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

As a person who loves tent camping, this was amazing! The bed was so comfortable…there were awesome Adirondack chairs outside around a fire pit. We did not light a fire but I can imagine the s’mores that could be enjoyed there! Also there are two great wineries within walking distance!🍷I will definitely go back!❤️🏕️

This was a great little off grid spot to post up with our self sustaining camper. Port-potty close by. Super simple to find my spot along the backside of the field. The sheep are incredibly sweet and seem to enjoy getting some pets and checking out what we were up to. We arrived fairly late in the day and took off again early. Much preferred this cute little farm setting over a stale RV park. Would definitely book again!

Easy and concise directions… Greeted warmly and the campsite was most excellent! Was visited by a wild turkey, could see the sheep in the pasture. Coyotes were Howling at night, which was awesome… Walked on the river walk and a mama dear and a baby showed up, The host was generous with the history of Farms in the area around. I absolutely love that! I would most definitely visit this campsite again
