Learn more about this land: Enjoy the private tranquility of the Cascade Mountains in this beautiful rural Full hookup RV site woodlands setting amidst trees and trails. Great for travelers who need a private place to park their fully self-contained home-on-wheels while traveling to Crater Lake National Park and the scenic Rogue-Umpqua area of the Cascades. Only 24 miles from the NP south entrance (on the Prospect desirable side of the NP) and most likely the closest private RV spot. 1/2 mile outside of the little town of Prospect, 1 mile to the Rogue River (fishing and rafting), 1 mile to 3 waterfalls, 8 miles to Lost Creek Lake (boating and recreation), plus an abundance of hiking trails in nearby local area. After viewing the amazing star-filled night skies, fall into a deep relaxed sleep and wake up to birds singing, enjoy your coffee and a nature walk. This serene and quiet RV spot consists of an open space nestled in beautiful mixed woodlands of mature doug fir, cedar, pine and madrone on our 60 acre property (You won’t see our house or shop since these RV spot is on the other side of the property). RV space has 50 amp power, well water and RV sewer. Your own toilet is a must. Be prepared to “Pac-in, pack-out.”  This is a protected wilderness area. There’s a mix of sun and shade. At approximately 2600 ft elevation, a fresh gentle breeze significantly cools the late afternoon and evening summer temperatures. Most cell service carriers do get reception at this location, however, there is no WIFI. This can be a pull-through-and-around area. A long RV/trailer may need to make a y turn.  Short distance nature trails in the adjacent woodlands can be enjoyed in the immediate area. You will be alone in this no-frills spot. Just you and nature and your RV home.

Pine Camp #1 is a beautiful spot nestled in a grove of pine trees. Gravel RV spot. Grassy meadow and permanent lean to shelter for gatherings. Please make note it is a 50 amp only plug You may need an adapter. And you need a 50’ hose to reach water. Open meadows for star gazing. If it’s a dual family camp out add pine camp 2 to your reservation.

Beautiful property! My little family and I had such an amazing and peaceful time on Joy’s land. Joy is super great with communication and is truly helpful and kind. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Such a great property to explore with our babies and dog. My family and I recommend and would come back again 😊

Was a nice place, only negative thing is sewer hook up was on wrong side, almost all RVs have the hookup on the driver's side . Lucky I had an extra length of hose. The water hookup was far from the campsite lucky I had extra hoses. Last never been to a RV campground that had no dumpsters for trash

Our group stayed at both Pine Camp #1 and Pine Camp #2 - see review of Pine #1 for more details! We had a wonderful stay and really appreciated how private Joy’s property was! We will no doubt request to return the next time we are looking to stay in the area!

Pine Camp #1
Joy’s residence was such a pleasure to stay at! We booked both Pine Camp sites and stayed with friends. The 3rd site (Dave’s Camp) wasn’t booked but even if it was, the sites are fairly separated and the Pine Camp sites would have still felt completely private. There is a nice little trail behind the camp sites that the dogs enjoyed, and plenty of shade for hanging out and relaxing! Joy was so friendly, communicative, and was flexible with us when we requested leaving slightly later than normal checkout time (since no one coming in after us). The sites were well set up, clean, and had a cute, cozy vibes to them! As others have stated, the sewer hookup is on the front side of the site and the electric and water is on the back. We chose to wait to hook up sewer and just dumped the tanks right before leaving. The water spigot is set back aways from the site, we had extra hoses so it was no trouble but you will need some hose length (50’) to reach! A wonderful experience and our next trip to the Crater Lake area we will no doubt request to stay with Joy again!

This is an awesome place. Quiet, clean, serene and safe. Close to Crater Lake and many many Rogue River hikes. Our host, Joy was responsive, welcoming and informative. Sites are clean, level, full hook up tucked under pine trees. Cell service is adequate but we have starlink too. I just cannot say enough nice things.

This camp is amazing!!! We loved the large private area & beautiful surroundings! We saw a flock of wild turkeys and a family of elk while there. Great location to check out crater lake. Also rouge river gorge falls was really cool just 15 mins down the road. Thank you Joy for sharing your amazing property with us!!!

This place is incredible. Beautiful secluded property with level, clean full hook up spots. Close to Crater Lake NP, and a host of hiking around the Rogue River. Joy is the perfect host. She is informative and very responsive.

Pine Camp #1
We recently stayed at Pine Camp #1, Pine Camp #2, and Dave’s Camp, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. There were three families in our group, each with our own trailer, and we were very happy to find that all of the sites had full hookups, which made things easy and comfortable for everyone. The camp host, Joy, was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. She really made our stay even better. The camps themselves are perfect for families, with plenty of space for kids to play and explore. Behind Pine Camp #1 and #2, there’s a trail that leads down to a small creek, which quickly became a favorite spot for the kids. The location is also ideal. It’s close to Crater Lake, Mill Creek Falls, and several other attractions and amenities in the area, making it a great basecamp for adventures. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back. It’s a place we’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a family-friendly campground in a beautiful area, with an amazing host like Joy to make you feel right at home

Loved being on private land. This was an excellent setup for a family reunion camping trip. We rented all 3 spaces and it was a great base camp to explore all of the nature this area has to offer. We felt like Joy was responsive when needed but not intrusive.

This was a really secluded and quiet place. Beautiful under the trees, so peaceful. We ate dinner on the picnic table outside under the lights that turned on after sunset. We loved it.

We had a very nice experience! Directions were very clear and easy to follow. Dave’s camp was simple to back our 32’ RV into and the rock pad was ample. Hookups were placed well. Other campers drove by while I was setting up but we couldn’t hear or see them the rest of the trip. Our one regret was not booking another night to just relax!

We camped here in a 35 ft camper. We loved it! It is the most peaceful place. The swing by the creek is a soothing place to sit and listen. Our dogs enjoyed the yard. Very convenient to Crater Lake and the local waterfalls are beautiful.

Fabulous Camp Spot

Great, private space! It is a large area to park and camp. We have struggled to find spots that we could put our chairs out and just sit to enjoy nature because of heat, mosquitoes or space, but this one has it all! We wish we would have stayed for 2 nights instead of 1. Mosquitoes were minimal, the light breeze was enjoyable and the shade perfected the environment. The space is absolutely perfect with a lot of space, level and very long back in site and the best is the privacy and the beauty of nature. There were only 2 spots where we were at but we did pass another with a different name. Pine Camp #2 would make a great spot if you had another group with you to camp together. It had full hookups although the drain tank is on the opposite side of the water and electric so I see what people are saying about how you can pull in to camp and then back out or back in first because the site is long enough for both. We backed in and then moved it to extend our waste hose under the camper to reach and it worked. Bring a 50 amp adapter (if needed), longer water hoses and longer wash out hoses. Well worth the price point for what you get. The instructions to the site were very clear and it helped knowing it was gated and safe. Host was very friendly and responsive. It's about 45 minutes or so to the 1st Crater Lake NP visitor center amd about half that to the main entrance. I highly recommend this spot and would definitely stay again with multiple nights to enjoy it more

We loved this great find! Our spot felt like we were the only ones there and it was perfect! We were super excited to find the little dock by the creek with the chairs. It was the perfect spot for our morning coffee! We would have loved to stay longer!

We stayed in pine camps 1&2 for a family trip and it was absolutely awesome both spots were perfect for our fith wheels and the privacy was exceptional we felt as if it was our own peace of the world combine that with the local wildlife and its perfection... would most definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.

Joys land was ideal for our needs. We needed AC power because of our older dog we left in the RV when we explored Crater Lake. It’s a great piece of property and being gated we felt so secure and safe. The grounds are expansive and nice to just roam the area. The campsite (#2) was well shaded. It would be an ideal place for a large group to hangout, there’s even a place to set up a bar! Bit of a drive to the park but if you need or like full hook ups, it’s ideal.
