Wonderful property with very friendly host.I had very little knowledge of Llamas upon arrival. Still know nothing in comparison to the host but they were very patient and happy to explain some of the basics around Llama husbandry. I learned a lot. Great camping experience. Watching my wife get sneezed on by a Llama (not spit, just a Llama sneeze) was worth the trip.

We loved camping at Sherri’s farm! It is quiet and camping with the llamas was awesome. The hosts are super friendly. Beautiful spot not far from town. We will be back!

Camping on Sherri’s llama farm was pure magic! From the moment we arrived, Sherri made us feel welcome with a warm greeting and a guided tour of the farm—complete with lots of llama introductions! 🦙💛
We opted for the add-on llama walk through the woods, and it was 100% worth it. Peaceful, quirky, and totally unforgettable. Camping alongside the llamas brought a sense of calm and charm you just don’t get at a regular campsite.
Bonus highlight: hearing a great horned owl call out at dusk while the llamas quietly slept nearby. Nature’s perfection.
If you’re looking for an escape from the city to experience nature in a fun and peaceful way, this is it. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful. We camped in the field surrounded by llamas. They llamas are beautiful, peaceful, curious, funny, and friendly. The made us smile and laugh over and over when they would come up to investigate every unfamiliar human or object. Sheri and her husband were wonderful hosts. We highly recommend the Farm Tour and Llama Walk. We will be back, and we are telling all our friends that they should experience this magic for themselves.

We had such a wonderful experience camping on the llama farm! The host was very informative and we could tell they truly love their llamas! Such a fun time, the only downside was we didn't bring the kids... We'll be back :)

I didn't really have "camping in a field full of llamas" on my bucket list but it should've been there. It was really fun. The llamas are curious and tame and didn't cause any problems. Loved it. Would recommend.

This was one of the best camping experiences we have ever had. The campsites were spacious and private. You can camp in the wooded area which has lots of trees and an outdoor fireplace, or you can camp right in the pasture with the llamas. The llamas are super friendly and love snacks, and more importantly they were so happy and you could tell how well they are cared for and how much they are loved. The owner was so kind and helpful and of coarse had ALL kinds of awesome llama facts. You really can’t go wrong staying here. Also, the port a potty was really clean! It felt very safe, and the sunsets here are gorgeous. You’re close enough to wander into town if you please but remote enough that it still feels like a getaway in nature. Cannot say enough good things about this place the whole experience was PERFECT.

Camping with Llamas!
Lovely spot, lovely llamas, lovely people. Soft grass, flat land, simple set up. Peacefully quiet, the old growths give great shade but are too big to get hammock straps around so bring double if that’s your thing ;) Portapotty down by camp was clean and a strong spigot supply of water in the woods across the way.
Expansive sky to the north and the view of these sweet animals all around. Some were curious, but most just did their thing. Fun to lay in the tent with no fly and flaps open and watch some of them find me. Beautiful calm creatures, wonderful to be around for nervous system regulation and just the joy. I look forward to returning and to bringing family and friends. Seems like a dream of an experience for kids. Sherri & her husband were kind and generous with their time. A gem of an experience, highly recommended.

I loved camping there. The host was very friendly and kind even though we came in close to dark. The llamas were very sweet and hardly ever approached so if your kid is a little skittish of large animals, they'll be just fine. Very peaceful. No road noises to disturb you. Highly recommend. Excellent geocaches nearby too!

We needed to do a last minute booking and were able to stay here. We had a wonderful experience and loved our camp spot. Our kids really loved seeing the Llamas. The hosts were kind and easy to work with.

Sherri and her husband were great! Loved the llama experience. My daughter, granddaughter and I came in late and set up a tent in the llama pasture and woke up to llama’ s saying good morning—it was so awesome! Sherri and her husband are very gracious hosts and I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. Incidentally my granddaughter is two and this was her first camp out experience and she had a great time walking around and petting the llamas.

This was an absolute dream. It was clean, beautiful, peaceful, the llamas were so sweet and majestic. We had our daughters 10th birthday sleepover here and the kids were in heaven. The grounds are very well taken care of and our hosts Sherri and Will were so much more than accommodating and helpful. We toured the barn and saw all of the baby llamas! Such a wholesome experience. Both hosts and especially Sherri went above and beyond to make our experience special. I cannot recommend this enough. Thank you so much Sherri and Will. And all the stars at night !!! So memorable and lovely.

Camping during the Perseid meteor shower with llamas grazing nearby was a unique experience for our families. With 3 adults and 3 kids in tow, we enjoyed a peaceful setting, clear views of the night sky, and all the basics we needed for a great camping trip. Our host was welcoming and made sure we were comfortable, clearly caring for both the guests and the llamas. Would recommend for anyone wanting a special night outdoors.

Camping with Llamas!
We had a great weekend camping on Sherri’s land! We opted to set up in the woods rather than in the pasture, but both are good options and both have shade. Sherri showed us around some of the pastures and introduced us to some of the llamas. We enjoyed talking to her- you can tell she loves what she does! And the llamas are so much fun to watch. Love that there’s potable water, horseshoes, and it’s quiet. Great weekend away from the city. :)

We loved staying here!! Sherri’s llama farm was so peaceful and the llamas were so cute. We would totally visit again. We stayed right in the pasture and got to pet some of the brave llamas!

I was happy to have found a location that was close to home, but provided a unique, camping, vacation experience. My friend and I had such a good time learning about all the llamas while on our tour with Sherry and later making multiple trips around the farm to say hello to our new friends and see what they were up to. Eminem was my absolute favorite!
I had such a good night’s sleep at my site. Would love to come back!

What an absolute treat!
What I was hoping for: Some face time with llamas and a low-stakes place to camp with a flush toilet, close to Portland, that felt safe for solo camping with my son.
What I got: This surpassed my expectations! We camped inside the pasture, among the llamas. Those goofy little girls hung out with us while we set up our tent, ate the dinner we packed in, peeked into our tent when the rain fly was off, and snuffled all around us during the night. We loved it! I didn't realize how in the thick of them we'd get to be. We were also lucky enough to arrive right after a baby llama was born and we got to see him take his first steps.
Sherri was generous with her time on what was a busy week for her (she was getting ready for a big event they are hosting this week). We did a small loop hike on the property, holding on to the leads of some very good boys. She also took time to answer all of our questions and even showed us some of the obstacle show tricks they llamas do at competition.

I loved camping here. The llamas were so fun to be around and watch them. I found a lovely private place to camp under a tree. It was quiet and i felt completely safe. Sherri was a fantastic host, thank you so much for sharing your space! I can't wait to come back

We had a lovely camping experience at Hidden Oaks Llama Ranch. Sherri was very hospitable and we enjoyed our farm tour with her. Camping on a llama pasture was a special experience. It was peaceful to just sit and watch the llamas do their thing. The space was also very quiet and private.

Sherri was a great hostess! She showed us the farm and places we could set up our camp site. The farm was so beautiful and the llamas were sweet. We loved learning about the llamas and interacting with them. This site also includes a fireplace for bonfires, a water faucet/hose, and bathroom. We had plenty or privacy as well. We would definitely come back!

Camping with Llamas!
A one of a kind experience that is 100% worth doing! The llamas are peaceful, curious and adorable. We only met Will but he was very welcoming. Having access to the separate outhouse was really nice and the stone fireplace was cool - definitely adds to the appeal of this Hipcamp, if the idea of llamas didn’t already sell you. Plus it’s nice and quiet, with great stargazing opportunities. It was the perfect spot for us and I would absolutely do it again.

Everything about my stay was epic. The hosts were superb, great hospitality and communication. The spot I camped in was luscious and grassy, lots of shade and space to spread out.
I highly recommend this camping spot!! I was in such a relaxing space, watching the llamas walk around and being able to come and go with freedom. It’s amazing!!!

It was so fun camping with llamas! Just a short trip from portland and you have peace and quiet, star gazing and the fun of watching the llamas. Sherri and her husband were very accommodating and kind. Highly recommend!

Tent camping in the huge pasture area with Llama was a wonderful and calming experience. Beautiful and curious animals with high intelligence.
Sunsets are amazing, especially the view through the trees.
A great spot to camp with close proximity to many amazing attractions in the area.
The hosts are kind and thoughtful.

Perfect weekend camping in the llama pasture. We really enjoyed the beautiful stone fireplace where we cooked meals and had camp fires. Sherri and Will were very friendly and passionate about their farm. It was great chatting with them and learning about them. Clean bathroom with water and electricity. We used instant book and were worried about giving short notice, but Sherri responded right away and met us on arrival. We would recommend this place 100% and would love to return.

This experience was amazing. My husband and I weren’t sure what to expect, but we were looking forward to seeing llamas. We ended up camping in a pasture with 20 llamas. They generally left is alone, but there were curious about us and stopped by from time to time. Sherri gave us a tour and we got to meet the baby llamas and learn about all the work they do in their community. I highly recommend this site and would camp here again.

I had a wonderful stay here! Sherri was very kind, and communicative. Very quick response time and answered all of my questions. I chose to pay for a pair of socks and the tour and I'm so glad I did! The Llamas are so friendly and very open to pets, it was wonderful. I love my new socks. I chose to camp in the llama pasture. The Llamas calmly grazed around me and it was so peaceful. You can hear traffic every once in a while, but overall it was a very quiet and tranquil space to spend the night. The bathroom is a little bit of a walk, so I would recommend having a wag bag with you just in case. I have Verizon and I had enough signal to text friends and family and watch a Youtube video before bed.
