Welcome to our serene campsite nestled beside the picturesque Wolf Creek! Set amidst a wooded backdrop and a hay field, our one and only campsite offers a peaceful retreat for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Please stop at the 2-story brick farmhouse before you head to the campsite. As you arrive, you'll be greeted by the tranquil sounds of the creek and the lush greenery of the surrounding woods. Our campsite offers pastures and some wooded trails to walk through while on farm, inviting you to explore the beauty of the countryside at your own pace. For your comfort and convenience, we provide amenities such as an outdoor shower*, fire pit, picnic table, and outhouse with a sink. Whether you're roasting marshmallows around the fire or enjoying a picnic by the creek, our campsite offers the perfect setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. We assure you that the tranquil setting and natural beauty of our farm make it well worth the visit. Our small hobby farm adds to the charm of your stay, with Highlander cows, potbellied pigs, roosters, hens, turkeys, peacocks, and a garden to explore. Feel free to bring along your furry friends, as long as they are friendly with our animals. Located across from Sycamore State Park, our campsite provides close proximity to hiking trails and fishing ponds, allowing you to further immerse yourself in nature's wonders. Downtown Dayton is less than a 30-minute drive away so you'll have the best of both worlds – the tranquility of the countryside and the excitement of the city. We invite you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience the beauty of nature at our charming campsite along Wolf Creek. We look forward to hosting you soon! *The outdoor shower is located on the side of the barn ~ facing the chicken coop. It is not located at the campsite, but you can see it from the campsite and get to it by a short walk. It is solar-powered so the water temperature is weather dependent. It is not available year round due to the Ohio climate.The site sits along Wolf Creek on the edge of a hay field. There is only one site on the property to camp at. Loved this spot… although we made a mistake and had planned for an electric hookup for heat. We stayed one night anyway and loved having even a short time on this property. The farm was really an incredible property. We brewed coffee on the provided propane stove and enjoyed a quiet morning on the swing by the creek while enjoying our hot coffee. It felt like a happy accident that we accidentally stumbled on a site that we’ll return to with our solar panels for a boondocking trip in the future. And If you are a tent camper, this spot is one of the best we’ve seen, hands down. Book now!

Well kept and equiped location. Situated right on the bank of a creek from which soothing sounds lulls you to a peaceful night's sleep. Trails offer views from different parts of the creek all with easy walking pace. Will visit again.

Definitely recommend booking this campsite! It was a lovely property, including highland cows (a baby was born just a few weeks ago!), the farmhouse, and the campsite itself. There is a great fire pit, picnic table, outhouse, and porch swing - what more could you need! The stream next to the campsite was so peaceful to sleep to. The owners were very kind and even surprised us with some cookies when we checked in. Cannot wait to book again!

Our tent camping getaway was a dream!! Plenty of space to enjoy board games or cards at the picnic table, cook on the provided propane stove top, or chat around the stone lined fire pit! This place was decked out with so many bells and whistles! The entire property is beautifully maintained and the host was an interesting and witty man. The outhouse was uber clean and had a water source (bath and body works pump soap! Bonus!) with a sink for washing and rinsing! The camp site location was nestled in a cozy cocoon alongside a stream and surrounded by trees, but just a quick walk to hike trails, visit chickens (yes, you can buy fresh eggs!) peacocks, bulls and a couple pot bellied pigs! We were given homemade cookies and pup treats in adorable packaging upon arrival and I’m here to say….we are already planning our next trip!! See you in the Spring, Vaughn! Could go on and on!! Just splendid!

We did tent camping with our 2 dogs. It was a nice secluded camp site, next to a creek. The pit toilet was clean.The hosts were accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful stay! It was private, beautiful, and the hosts were great. Everything was done well - from the outhouse to the swing to the cooktop. It was private as advertised- far enough away from the barn and house, and the roosters we’rent too close in the morning. 😊

Amazingly beautiful views, Wonderful, friendly and helpful hosts! Completely secluded, quiet 99% of the time, but not far from several small towns and enough larger ones that it won’t be a huge deal if you need to make a grocery run.

We had the best time at Vaughn and Deana's campsite! The site was somehow even better than we anticipated. The sounds, views, stargazing, open space.. everything was awesome. The outhouse was so clean and the sink & stove were an added bonus. Vaughn was very responsive to anything we needed and made it such a special experience for all of us. Our two kiddos had such a great time learning and asking questions and playing in the creek and listening to the cows moo. Can't speak highly enough. Loved everything about it. Would recommend to anyone wanting a private and beautiful camping experience.

Had an incredible trip in our 25ft rig. Location was beautiful, vaughn was very communicative and thoughtful with some cookies for humans and our fur babies. Parked our RV right outside a beautiful hidden spot with a fire pit, creek, and seating. Incredible amenities, propane stove, cookware, wood etc. Location was quiet, peaceful, private. Went with our two dogs who loved to roam in the pasture, saw cows, chickens, peacocks, and a potbelly. Would definitely recommend this stay if you are looking for beautiful seclusion.

This was the perfect getaway. We camped 3 nights with our 3 GSD. Beautiful property and felt very secluded. Dogs loved playing in the creek and watching the farm animals. Hosts were amazing, very respectful and responsive.

The perfect secluded spot with all the needed needed amenities and more! Vaughn was very attentive when necessary and brought us extra dry kindling after it stormed. Falling asleep to the creek and waking up to roosters was so lovely. Would definitely recommended.

From the moment we pulled into the driveway we were overwhelmed by the hospitality of this property. The hostess met us with delicious homemade cookies and a warm smile. Everything was explained well and the freedom to wander the trails and property was great. The camping spot was well shaded and offered everything we needed. Awesome swing well placed by a beautiful water view. We would definitely visit again.

A perfect holiday weekend away

I absolutely loved staying at Vaughn’s campground! From the very start, his communication was awesome. Vaughn and his daughter met us upon arrival with homemade cookies his wife made! We got to chatting about our upcoming camping trip to Acadia this fall before he left us to set up camp. The next day I checked my phone to see several amazing, detailed recommendations they had for us for our trip we were planning. It was such an above and beyond thing to do. Beyond this, the campsite had everything we could have needed and my dog LOVED swimming in the creek. The propane stovetop was an awesome bonus, too. We will without a doubt be back!!

Checking on was a great song the whole farm and getting some delicious, home made cookies! We set up and enjoyed two days of peace and relaxation. The creek was refreshing, the latrine was convenient, and the animals were a real treat! I highly recommend this spot for a quiet getaway!

We had a great weekend camping with our dogs. We didn't get to explore much of the farm (one of our dogs is very reactive) but from what we did see it was beautiful! Very hot weekend but the shady site and creek kept us cool. We loved the seclusion and having the out house was a big bonus! We plan to come back in the fall for cooler temps and the fall foliage

This place is great! We stayed overnight here with our truck bed camper. The property is idyllic with many interesting animals and amenities. The best part though are the wonderful caretakers who showed us around. Hopefully we can stay here again!

Loved the camping spot beside Wolf creek. Listening to the water ripple across the rocks was so relaxing. Great place for walking up and down the creek exploring and catching small fish. The Hosts are wonderful people and very accommodating. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property!

Nice secluded spot. Beautiful property. Owners greeted us on arrival and then left us to it. Due to the days of rainfall, the creek was flowing too fast for the doggo. Just something to keep in mind. We all still had a great time. The amenities were great. Propane stove, pit toilet, picnic table. We would love to stay again.
