We left after 30 minutes and went to a campground at a nearby state park and forfeited our $ for this place. A great concept but poorly maintained. One hot tub had broken jets, 1 hot tub had greenish turbid water (unsanitary), the sauna was still at 80 degrees after being turned on by receptionist and waiting 30 minutes as directed by her (heating element broken as we could literally rest our hand on it), the showers were dirty and had not been cleaned in a while. The microwave, water refill station and sauna can only be used until 6 pm when receptionist is on site. Designated parking is several feet off a public road that is busier than we would have expected. There is also a lively bar open from 9 pm - 2 am daily about 175 ft away from designated parking spot that is frequented after hours by the Cedar Point Amusement Park staff (husband used to work at CP so first hand knowledge of crowd and noise from those experiences, not from this stay as we left after 30 minutes of arrival). Not recommended.

make sure you book way in advanced for this place or you'll have the experience we had... (we tried to book a few hours before wanted to stay there but i still feel like we got the runaround.)
at first i messaged the company at 5:30 asking a question . they said "we would love to have you stay". i told them i was going to book it.
i booked it a few minutes before 6, i waited an hour and the request was still not approved. i decided to call the office to see if they received it.
the girl at the front desk said they did get it but would call be back in a minute because she had to ask her boss something. (she was very nice) i waited 2 and a half hours, the request still was not approved and still no call back.
i decided to call again to see what was going on. the girl i spoke to before stated that their manager was not in the office and she was not answering the phone / texts. the manager was also the only one who could accept the reservation. why in the world would you not train the front desk girls to do that if you the manager would not be in the office?
i asked the girl to call me back within the hour (even if she did not hear from her manager) because i wanted to cancel if she didn't call her.
no one called me and we had to go stay somewhere else.
in the morning i checked, i got an email at 11pm that they accepted the stay.
i messaged them and said i would like a refund as i never heard from them. it's been almost 24 hours and no answer still (not surprised)

Our stay was amazing!! The view was so pretty and the staff was lovely. We had a great time :) Only thing I would say is bring ear plugs as it got pretty loud at night.
A great stay for an amazing price! Bathrooms! Showers! A floating sauna right in Lake Erie. We loved the peaceful nature reserve trail. There were also entertainment and bar options which we didn’t partake in but it’s nice to have that option. Easy to get to-all great!
On a roadtrip we needed a place to park and sleep, with access to to bathrooms. SoLSTAY offered exactly that. Clean, easy and quick responses. Thank you!

It was absolutely wonderful. Amazing views of the waterway. Enjoyed the hot tub on the upper deck with expansive views of the city lights and the boats and floating cabins. It was a perfect spot to rest and enjoy.

Love the place but ya, should be more transparent about what you’re getting here. It’s a parking spot yes but how close it is to the road isn't cool. Especially when theres a crazy bar across the street, Louie’s. Look up its reviews. Granted I stayed there on Oct 31 but got no sleep. The bar opens April-Oct 10p-2am so at 3am it was spicy!! Screaming, crashing cars but theres a cute new place next door called Pine Creek Pub & Grill with waterfront seats!! I didn't like that even others staying here for some reason were in and out of the parking lot all night long. I will be going back!!

We had a baseball tournament and the van parking spot at SOLStay was perfect. It’s a parking spot by the road, so this is not exactly camping. But for us it was exactly what we wanted. We backed up to the building facing the little street, pulled our shades and slept great. Another car pulled in next to us but we didn’t hear a peep. Very quiet side street, 5 minutes from the baseball complex. What a treat to have bathrooms, showers, hot tub, sauna. Incredible deal, and such a cool setting on the Bay! Super. A favorite. Perfect for our 16 y/o baseball tournament weekend. Kind attendant at the main “office” was very helpful. We had to buy a sticker for our van! This is such a cool offering. Be sure to walk down the docks at night and see the floating sauna house. Unique and fun!

I enjoyed my 1 night stay at SolDtay very much. So close to Cedar Point and lots of quick easy food choices. Sitting on the waterfront with amazing views and lovely little house boats! Great amenities - clean bathrooms with hot showers.
At the end of the street is Pipe Creek Wildness Area- amazing to walk through with a diverse bird population.
You are parked right off the street, in front of a building. Not very private if that’s what you’re looking for.
I felt comfortable and safe as a solo traveler.

It's basically a spot in the driveway. Nice and level with gravel. It was a very neat spot. Hot tub, sauna, kayak rental and a cool restaurant next door. Great spot for a quick overnight stay.
We parked our van along the fence so we had a great spot for our van. Located right on the water with access to amenities. Only 15 mins to Huron and a beautiful beach.

The place is super cute. Way more personality than anything else in the area. But my husband and I had planned to car camp and when we got there, it was just a spot long enough to back our minivan in with the back against a wall and the front against the road. No room for our little EZ up, event with it almost completely over the van. We didn't feel like we were going to be comfortable in that spot right on the road, out of sight from everyone else. We just ended up going elsewhere. Nobody's fault, it just wasn't what we were looking for.

The amenities are awesome! Great seating on the water and some games. Plus the sauna and hot tub which I didn’t get to try out. The shower house was well appointed. The only thing I’ll say is that is that the parking is right on the street so not very private.
It’s a beautiful place!! Amazing! I will go back again! I love it there! They were so helpful when I made stupid move but trying to charge my phone a bit while my car is not running. Never again but they were able to help jump my car! I really appreciate their communication via Hipcamp chat and on site!
My stay here was great and everyone was super friendly. The bathrooms and showers were incredibly clean as well as every other piece of the property. I would highly recommend.
