Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.

Escape to a private 2-acre, off-grid oasis at the mouth of Slickaway Hollow connecting to the back side of Tar Hollows 600 public acres, offering two distinct campsites all to yourself (no neighboring campers/sharing with unknowns)—a manicured meadow for large rigs and a hammock area for tents, you get both sites when you reserve this camp. Also an option to rent an available permanent camper with electric, Queen size bed and A/C. Guests enjoy exclusive access to a private pond and a nearby hidden creek with a swimming hole and a beach to lay out on and soak up the sun just a short hike away down a trail marked by orange arrows. (to respect neighbors and their private properties theres Red Ribbon marking boundaries telling you to stay out), - Immediate access to 600 acres of adjoining Tar Hollow State Forest for hiking and hunting. -The site provides a fire ring with cooking equipment and an outhouse, there are no water hook ups (Bring Your Own Drinking Water), There is an Extra add on option to rent a 3500 Watt Generator (you must provide your own fuel) that has a 30-Amp outlet for campers and multiple regular outlets for tv and dvd player or Air Conditioner (if reserving the available Camper, Generator is included, youll just need to bring fuel). Only just a short drive away from Tar Hollows public beach, boating, putt putt and the Hillside Bulk Amish Food store where you can grab a snack or some Amish made soap or a delicious sub theyll make right in front of you. 3 miles down the road the other direction and youll be at Hookers PayLake where you may catch a 45lb/50lb Catfish for a small fee. - This location offers a Secluded Private retreat with options for hunters to utilize it as a Private Basecamp. Prime Hunting Land, it goes from road to private land/Your Basecamp to the very back side of Tar Hollows 600 acres to hunt wherever youd like. Reserve site for 4 days, 1st day is Recon/place stand or blind and the remaining 3 you Hunt. If your plan is to Hunt you must add that Extra add on when you reserve this site. Roll in with your camper or rent ours, pack your tents, bring your hiking boots/water boots, swim suits and floatys, firewood, Hunting equipment, blind or stand and get ready to experience the best private valley near Tar Hollow!

Pondside Meadows-Tent & RV Camping

Theres plenty of flat ground for campers and a woods area for Tents. Youll have no cellphone service. Bring your own firewood. The Woods is crawling with Whitetails and Turkeys, If your plan is to Hunt you must add that Extra add on when you reserve site. Theres a table, hotdog roasting sticks, Pot to hang over fire to cook in, multiple places to take a dip or fish in, Catfish Paylake 5 minutes away and endless land to Hunt. First come first served so reserve quick. Hope to check you in soon!

The Cozy Camper at Pondside Meadows

Youll have a Camper all to yourself on a 2 acre meadow with a private pond steps away and a creek with swimming/fishing hole at the end of a trail marked with orange arrows at the mouth of Slickaway Hollow. Theres a woods site for an extra Tent and 2 acre flat grassy meadow for any more campers or RVs. A 3500 Watt Generator to run the 1 camper youll be reserving, you must provide your own fuel (just regular gas). Access to 600 Acres of Public Hiking/Hunting land. Tar Hollows Logan Trail is just a short hike through the woods. Hop in the car and turn right out the driveway for a 15 minute drive and your at Tar Hollows Beach, Putt Putt and boat/kayak/canoe rentals. And take a left out the driveway for a 5 minute drive and your at Hookers PayLake, pay fee and maybe catch a 50lb Shovel Head. Place is crawling with Whitetails and Turkeys, if your plan is to Hunt you must add that Extra Add On when you reserve.
