Site 1 - Riverside Camping Kayak & Canoe
Great place. Had the area all to ourselves. Wish we could have taken advantage of the kayaks but arrived too late. The train is loud but we got used to it and it stopped at one point. Would definitely come back if we were in the area. Wish it had a hookup or two, but it's okay. Bryan was a great host. great place

Host was great. Very personal and kind. Location is very nice. Convenient. We personally couldn’t sleep with the train going through every half hour at night and blowing the whistle. It was too much so we had to leave in the middle of the night. We are from the back country in PA and it’s silent so we aren’t used to that. Otherwise I recommend it.

Came up for the weekend to check out Maggee Marsh, Camp sites are spacious, private and scenic. lots of room for the kids to run around and explore, kept busy fishing in the small pond, saw many different birds. Lots of amenties at the camp office, we got to enjoy the canoes and giant yahtzee. Bryan was friendly, easy to communicate with, and provided great service delivering firewood to our site. Only downside is the close proximity to the train tracks, trains were pretty frequent at all hours on Friday, Saturday there was much less train traffic. Would definetly stay again.

We had a great time and Brian was a great Host. He was very helpful and accommodating. The site was well kept and organized. There is a lot to enjoy and see at this site and we are talking about visiting this place again. We stayed in site #2. They have plenty to see and add to your outdoor needs.

Crappy weather off weekend was still fun. Able to get so much wood to burn (probably the favorite part about camping). Beautiful place. His kids were very respectful and all around good vibes. The trains were a bummer at first but when you turn it into a joke you get over it quickly. We are interested in coming back to do the activities.

Site 4 - Secluded Tent Pond Camping
Spacious private property and the sites are excellent! The host was kind, knowledgeable, timely, and caring. We experienced some bad weather overnight and Bryan came by to check on us in the morning to make sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to staying here next time we’re in the area!

Camping Under The Stars, Lakeside
I would highly recommend this beautiful site to any campers looking for a great weekend under the stars, camping and plenty of activities, such as kayaking, Paddle boarding, gem mining and a lot more. Also they had the cutest animals on site goats and turtle ! Definitely will be back if weather permits soon ! Bryan and Amanda thank you so much for letting us stay and helping us during our stay.

We enjoyed staying at this site, even though I totally overlooked it being by train tracks!! It still gave us safari feels tho! I was expecting a lion or giraffe to come out of the bushes at any moment lol!! The trains do come fairly often! The horn is the worse part lol but it didn’t ruin the vibe at all! We just needed a night away from the city! I would absolutely stay again to explore more of the area!

Cute spot across from the track'
This camping experience was lovely,nice open space by the pond. We stayed one night and we enjoyed it here, they had lots of activities from kayaking to yard YATZEE and the site is as quiet as it could be outside of the train that rides by every couple of hours..but this is something we were aware of coming in, thanks to an accurate site description, Byans was nice and made sure to come by before the store closed to make sure we were good for the night. Over nice site!

One of the best camping sites that I have ever experienced. Large site, with dock. Easy trip into town if you want, but Bryan has everything you could need. I will definitely be camping here again!

We love tent camping on Bryan’s land. He was a fantastic host with good directions and suggestions. Everyone was very nice. There were the sweetest animals there to greet you as well. We rented a couple of kayaks and saw some beautiful views and had a wonderful time. We had a view of a pond on our campsite which was very relaxing. Would definitely recommend! :)

This was our second time staying at Bryan's campsite and this place is really special. I love the tall plants and wildflowers that grow all along the edges of the sites, and the view of the water is extremely peaceful. You can watch beautiful sunsets from the dock and watch eagles fly around in the distance. Their business up by the road has farm animals, mining, paddle rentals and lots of interesting stuff and is just fun to walk around, even if you aren't renting a boat to paddle on the river. Be sure to read other reviews about the train (very close and frequent) and the nearby highway to make sure this place will be right for you and your sleeping style. We will be back!

Where to start? I loved everything about this place. Great hosts, amazing location on the water, well maintained and spacious sites, clean privy, sweet goats/ducks/turtles, beautiful flowers, water activities, fresh eggs, fire wood, wood carvings….I wish I could have stayed for much longer! We loved camping here! We met the host and his family upon checking in and they were very responsive providing us with all the firewood we needed. With the kayaking and paddle boarding rental close by, so much to do! Camping site was private and close to water. This is a beautiful way to enjoy Port Clinton.

Site 4 - Secluded Tent Pond Camping
This was our second time staying, this time around we stayed the whole weekend. Friday-Sunday. We checked in on Friday and got some wood from Bryan right away. Got our site all set up and settled in for the weekend. Come Saturday morning our daughter cut her foot and we needed bandaids. Bryan’s wife was quick to give us what we need. Later in the evening we went down to visit the animals. The wife (I forget her name 🤦♀️) gave us a little walk around showing us the animals and plant life near by. She’s so sweet and very personable. We adore her!! The kids made several trips up to their “area” to see Bryan and his wife. They have kids themselves and we seen them working and playing off and on over the weekend. It was very touching to see. They really have the best little area to stay at!! Between the camp sites, lake near by, the boats, canoes and kayaks and bikes to rent they really have a one in a million spot. Our site (4) had a little pond the kids were able to fish in all weekend. They caught two large mouth bass and a small mouth!!
They welcomed our dogs happily and made sure they felt at home too. Check out was super easy. For our family this will be “Our Spot” from now on. We really felt at home here. If you’re looking for a place, this won’t disappoint!!

This was a wonderful spot. Bryan and his family were great and extremely helpful. They were open and answered any and all questions I had. This spot was nicely private, but at the same time not too far away from amenities. The walk to the water was a wonderful way to start the day.
