Great river view

Great stop on our trip down south. The grass is super soft for walking around the site and they’re right on the river. Hosts were super friendly and welcoming!

Perfect getaway from city life

I loved camping here! Site 4 is secluded. We camped for three nights and felt like family, everyone is so kind and welcoming. The goats are probably my favorite out of the animals 🥰 I’d absolutely recommend this camp and will be back. Perfect location close to everything yet not near anything. Just what I needed!!

The property is really beautiful! The hosts were absolutely amazing and so friendly. Bryan was very accommodating! We tent camped and really enjoyed bird watching and fishing. The only thing I would recommend when staying here is having some earplugs for sleeping. There are train tracks very close by and the train does run through the day/night. Other than that, it was a perfect stay and made our Memorial Day weekend so relaxing. Would recommend and will be back to stay again! :)

The campsite was lovely: right on a small pond where I woke up to a deer drinking water, rabbits hopping about, a turtle, and bald eagles. Bryan and his wife were super friendly and gracious hosts- loved the tour of the animals and the eggs were delicious! Close enough to town to partake in a lot of different activities but still out of the way enough to feel out in nature. It is RIGHT NEXT TO a busy train track, though. Bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

Beautiful Waterside Camping

We had a wonderful time camping on Bryan’s Land. The location of site 2 is absolutely gorgeous. My son enjoyed exploring around the site with views of the bay and marsh. There is a port-o-potty within short walking distance of the site. It was very clean. Bryan and his wife checked up on us several times during our stay-even delivering firewood to us at our request. There are many activities on site including axe throwing, kayak rentals, and lots of cool animals to look at. We didn’t get to enjoy any of these things since it was chilly when we camped here- but we are definitely planning a trip back later this year when it is warmer.

Nice place but next to train tracks

Train tracks are a stones throw away from site 4 and very active, even at night. The loud horns scared my wife a few times and regularly woke us up. We were only staying one night, so it was fine, but the sleep we got wasn’t restful. If you are looking to party, it’s probably good, but if you want to get rest on your travels, it’s not ideal. Otherwise the host was very friendly and the campsite was well-maintained. I realize nothing can be done about the train noise but it’s something to be aware of.

Great place. Had the area all to ourselves. Wish we could have taken advantage of the kayaks but arrived too late. The train is loud but we got used to it and it stopped at one point. Would definitely come back if we were in the area. Wish it had a hookup or two, but it's okay. Bryan was a great host. great place

Host was great. Very personal and kind. Location is very nice. Convenient. We personally couldn’t sleep with the train going through every half hour at night and blowing the whistle. It was too much so we had to leave in the middle of the night. We are from the back country in PA and it’s silent so we aren’t used to that. Otherwise I recommend it.

Came up for the weekend to check out Maggee Marsh, Camp sites are spacious, private and scenic. lots of room for the kids to run around and explore, kept busy fishing in the small pond, saw many different birds. Lots of amenties at the camp office, we got to enjoy the canoes and giant yahtzee. Bryan was friendly, easy to communicate with, and provided great service delivering firewood to our site. Only downside is the close proximity to the train tracks, trains were pretty frequent at all hours on Friday, Saturday there was much less train traffic. Would definetly stay again.

We had a great time and Brian was a great Host. He was very helpful and accommodating. The site was well kept and organized. There is a lot to enjoy and see at this site and we are talking about visiting this place again. We stayed in site #2. They have plenty to see and add to your outdoor needs.

Crappy weather off weekend was still fun. Able to get so much wood to burn (probably the favorite part about camping). Beautiful place. His kids were very respectful and all around good vibes. The trains were a bummer at first but when you turn it into a joke you get over it quickly. We are interested in coming back to do the activities.

Spacious private property and the sites are excellent! The host was kind, knowledgeable, timely, and caring. We experienced some bad weather overnight and Bryan came by to check on us in the morning to make sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to staying here next time we’re in the area!

I would highly recommend this beautiful site to any campers looking for a great weekend under the stars, camping and plenty of activities, such as kayaking, Paddle boarding, gem mining and a lot more. Also they had the cutest animals on site goats and turtle ! Definitely will be back if weather permits soon ! Bryan and Amanda thank you so much for letting us stay and helping us during our stay.

We enjoyed staying at this site, even though I totally overlooked it being by train tracks!! It still gave us safari feels tho! I was expecting a lion or giraffe to come out of the bushes at any moment lol!! The trains do come fairly often! The horn is the worse part lol but it didn’t ruin the vibe at all! We just needed a night away from the city! I would absolutely stay again to explore more of the area!

This camping experience was lovely,nice open space by the pond. We stayed one night and we enjoyed it here, they had lots of activities from kayaking to yard YATZEE and the site is as quiet as it could be outside of the train that rides by every couple of hours..but this is something we were aware of coming in, thanks to an accurate site description, Byans was nice and made sure to come by before the store closed to make sure we were good for the night. Over nice site!

We love tent camping on Bryan’s land. He was a fantastic host with good directions and suggestions. Everyone was very nice. There were the sweetest animals there to greet you as well. We rented a couple of kayaks and saw some beautiful views and had a wonderful time. We had a view of a pond on our campsite which was very relaxing. Would definitely recommend! :)

Peaceful, waterside sites

This was our second time staying at Bryan's campsite and this place is really special. I love the tall plants and wildflowers that grow all along the edges of the sites, and the view of the water is extremely peaceful. You can watch beautiful sunsets from the dock and watch eagles fly around in the distance. Their business up by the road has farm animals, mining, paddle rentals and lots of interesting stuff and is just fun to walk around, even if you aren't renting a boat to paddle on the river. Be sure to read other reviews about the train (very close and frequent) and the nearby highway to make sure this place will be right for you and your sleeping style. We will be back!
