Come enjoy our country property by open fields and fresh air. Park your camper and take in the beauty of wide spaces and a rustic red barn in the distance. Guests are welcome to feed the friendly chickens and ducks, take a walk through the property, or simply sit and relax on the bench under the big tree. Evenings bring breathtaking sunsets and mornings are best spent waking up to fresh country air with a warm cup of coffee in hand. This calm and welcoming setting is a great place to slow down and enjoy a restful stay. (We have designated campsites on higher ground to prevent campers from getting stuck during rainy weather. If the forecast is clear and the ground is dry, we'll consider other spots in the yard upon request.)     This was my first wintertime van-camping outing with just the kids and I. The site was quiet and very inviting. It is also far enough out of the city-centers to look forward to stargazing on a future visit, when the sky is hopefully clear. Our hosts were very inviting and friendly. While there are not a lot of amenities, this is a perfect dry-camping spot for those on the road, as well as those more local (such as myself) who just need to get out of the house for a night or a weekend. The geese and such in the barn are also noticeable, but are not noisy as such to be an issue. Overall, we look forward to visiting this site again!
