Heritage Farms, located in the heart of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, is a 5th-generation, family-owned Christmas tree farm founded in 1848. Camping began ten years ago. We offer six shelters and nine primitive tent sites. We are incredibly close to the various trails located across the Cuyahoga Valley. THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK! 1.WE DO NOT ALLOW FIREWOOD to be brought onto Heritage Farms property due to the potential risk to our crops and according to State and Federal Regulations. Firewood bundles may be purchased when making your reservations or upon arrival at the farm. 2. No vehicles may be driven into the camping area at any time. 3. All vehicles must remain in the designated parking lots 4. Campers are responsible for carrying their gear to their campsites—we provide wheeled carts for your use. 5. Ohio Primitive Camping licensing does not allow wheeled camping on Heritage Farms property. 6. Due to Summit County Health regulations, we cannot provide water. Please bring your own drinking and washing water. Or you may purchase 1-gallon jugs of water when you reserve your site or upon arrival. Our restrooms are porta Johns. 7. Tent sites (labeled A-J) have space for up to 3 tents. Shelter sites (numbered 1-6) have room for up to 2 additional tents. All sites are limited to a maximum of 6 campers 8. Heritage Farms is a working Farm. Please be aware that tractors and other machinery are in use during daylight hours 9. Check-in time is from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you’re arriving after 7:00 p.m., please let us know. Checkout time is 10:00 a.m. Please use the dumpster for all trash. Gray water stations are available for the disposal of used water. 10. Only campers registered to HipCamp are permitted to overnight on Heritage Farms property. We do not allow parties and underage or excessive use of alcohol at any time. 11. DOG POLICY: We welcome dogs who have received prior permission from the farm owners. A dog registration form including proof of rabies vaccination must be filled out upon arrival. Unvaccinated dogs are not permitted on the property. All dogs MUST always be on a leash and in the physical control of their owner(s). No pets may be left unattended at any time.

Sat upon the hill overlooking our creek is Campsite C, which comprises an open terrain to sprawl out on one end, and a few trees on the other side for hammocks and shade. Not to mention, the view across the creek bed, the covered bridge, and the majestic rolling acres of the farm is nothing to scoff at either! An Enjoyable October Stay
Campsite 5
This is my second time staying at Heritage Farms and, specifically, site 5. I enjoy the location very much. Shelter 5 is near the parking lot, so gear only needs carried 30 feet or so. There's a nice view over the farm. This stay was particularly fun because through the day they had October activities going on (corn maze, pumpkin patch, a children's scavenger hunt, etc) and from the shelter, I could hear children and families participating in the activities. I also hiked to the other corner of the property to campsite H (I believe that's the correct site name) from which you can access a 2.75-mile trail in CVNP. I hiked the trail and enjoyed the orange leaves, the trail itself, and in particular a sitting bench by a pond. I had a good time, and I recommend considering camping here!

I stayed at Heritage Farms with my dog for my visit to Cuyahoga. It was a really lovely spot, everything is just as it is described in the listing and photos. It’s a little bit of work to cart your stuff to your site but it was worth it in my opinion. Even though the site was pretty out in the open i still felt like i had decent privacy (the a-frame helps with that!). Hosts were friendly and helpful. Overall enjoyed my stay!

The site was great! We had more than enough firewood! Even with them having an event going on it was still very peaceful and so much fun! Thank you guys so much for double checking if we were good on wood! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I absolutely loved this camping experience! It was a little different than our traditional tent camping, so we weren’t sure what to expect, but we absolutely loved it! The staff was super helpful and the accommodations were super clean! Not to mention the property was gorgeous!

This land is BEAUTIFUL! Campsite J is definitely worth the trek. It was so peaceful and I got to see the best sunrises each morning. Everything was set up so nicely, directions were easy to follow, and it is so close to everything i wanted to do in Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Campsite G
Communication was timely and the check-in process was easy to follow. The site was as pictured, the firewood was stocked and good quality. Site G is better suited to a lounge hammock than a backpacking hammock or a smaller tent. We also attended pumpkin pandemonium while there. It was nice being able to go back and forth between activities and relaxing at the camp site.

The distance between each campsite is really special. There is a sense of privacy but also community. The proximity to Peninsula, OH and the Ohio Erie bike tour make it perfect for bikepacking. For those who Hammock camp, the trees are perfect.

This was our fourth year at this campsite! It is absolutely beautiful! The process is so simple - check-in is easy! You’re literally a few minutes from the national park for hiking or biking! Very close to the cute town of peninsula if you want dinner and drinks!!! Hosts are absolutely wonderful!!! Camping on a Christmas tree farm is simply magical!!

The Heritage Farms campsites are huge and private, and the property is really beautiful. We were there during their Pumpkin Pandemonium, which is a festive blast! Practically-speaking, the wagons to cart things out to the sites were very useful, and the outhouses were incredibly clean, with a hand santizer station outside. Instructions for entering/leaving the property and locating the sites were also very thorough, and easily navigable even though I arrived in pitch darkness.

Hallmark Tree Farm; Not for Disable
Campsite 1
Cute as a button tree farm beside CVNP. Owners responsive& friendly. We arrived as their family fall event was closing. Beautiful albeit not accessible Site: in-and-out w/ fire pit, picnic table, and grate for vampire-style cooking. Visible to a few others but we soon forgot we weren’t alone. Slept in an A-frame: solid, well-made; doors stretched so we got creative for closing gaps. NBD, just note. We brought our 89 lbs Goldendoodle (service dog in training, listed as pet) Bought firewood + water delivery; firewood smelled like heaven, burned hot/fast. 3 stacks would’ve been ideal for morning brekkie fire. Light pollution low, sunset gorgeous, stars moving clear overhead. Very happy we came out future considerations: I’m disabled—rheumatologist jokes I’ve got the face of a 20-yr-old + the body of an 80-yr-old. Asked about help getting gear to site, offered to show handicap placard. Told flat no even though an obvious accommodation the workers themselves used was right there. Instead was pointed to a steep hill + told “you’ll be fine.” It was difficult; I hurt myself walking down without carrying anything. I should’ve advocated more, yet that always risks being seen as “causing trouble” The ironic part: saying yes would’ve been safer for the farm too—less chance of throwing me into a medical emergency & needing EMS Rating: Able-bodied 10/10 peace, charm, $40-50 value. Disabled: Meh. 5/10 No one should have to choose between safety, harm, or the peaceful nite they paid for

Campsite 2
The campsite and amenities were exactly as described. Clear instructions for easy check-in were sent prior to arrival. The location is quiet and perfect for visiting the central portion of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The hosts are thoughtful to have wagons available to move gear from the parking lot to the campsites. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Carol and George's farm is a beautiful place to camp and really conveniently located if you're hoping to explore the Cuyahoga Falls National Park, Cleveland Metro Parks, or attend a concert at Blossom. We stayed at site J which was a hike but had a beautiful view of their farm. The wood delivery service was also fantastic, the sites we clean, and everyone was very friendly/helpful.

Campsite 1
What a fun and unique camping spot! The pine trees and pumpkins everything was super fun! Directions were super simple and the layout was very nice and peaceful, had plenty of space will definitely be back. Also if you’re seeing a concert at blossom this is the easiest drive in and out of the venue can’t recommend enough! Host responded very quickly and even helped us out on some left camping gear!

My experience camping here was amazing. We were helped by Adam who was fantastic and helped make our short stay very enjoyable. Incredible hospitality and adorable property. We sadly only got to stay one night but we immediately knew we want to come back someday! I have already recommended them to one of my friends who lives in the area. The shelter kept us warm and dry on a chilly, rainy October night. And the propane grill was great to have.

Heritage Farms was a gem of a place and was only about two minutes from the Cuyahoga NP visitor center. It was absolutely beautiful, and the camp site was well taken care of. The porta potties were relatively clean and not unpleasant to use. The camp spot (#3) had a nice picnic table and shelter, grill and fire pit, along with a couple wooden stools for sitting. One bundle of wood burnt for about 2-2.5 hrs, perfect for an evening bonfire. Carol, the owner, was very kind in letting us switch camp sites last minute in order to reduce our walk with our things. I would definitely camp here again!

This is our third time staying at Heritage Farms - always in a shelter. It's a great local getaway and the shelters provide warmth during the spring and fall months. Plus you don't have to mess with a tent. The sites are always tidy. I appreciate the grill grate for cooking on the fire. Beautiful sunsets. Easy to get to and staff are always friendly.

Campsite 3 (Glamping Site)
We really enjoyed camping here! The tree farm was a magical place to wake up to. Sites are spread apart so there is a good amount of privacy, and our site included a picnic table and shelter. And it is dog friendly! We would enjoy staying here again next time we are in the area.
