Awesome place to stay. I stayed 3 days and it was amazing. Only me and nature!! I am definitely staying again when I get back that ways. Danny is a great guy and fellow Marine. He will work with you and is always willing to go above and beyond to help 10 out of 10

We loved tent camping on this farm, plenty of spacious beautiful land, appreciated the outlets, shower house, and fresh vegetable and seafood market. Gorgeous wooded trails nice for roughing it. Pavilion was much appreciated during stormy nights. Cool animals, nice to wake up with the chickens. Very friendly people, welcoming.

I loved the host interaction with you as soon as you arrived. Loved how communicative they were with you about everything on property. Honestly a cute little spot for those traveling in the area with kids as my little one loves all the animals the property had. Will be back again soon

Tons of room to set up a rooftop tent and campsite. We had a peaceful night of rest during our trip. My dog had a great time investigating the farm. Since it is a farm, expect farm animal noises at night and in the morning. Danny and his wife were very welcoming.

Great place to set up a tent for the night! They have nice bathrooms which was a huge plus! Danny was so nice and we bought some fresh eggs from him :)

I loved camping at Livingston! The farm was so serene and peaceful. It was so fun waking up and seeing donkeys and chickens. Amazing hosts too, super communicative and kind. I ended up extending my stay a night and will DEFINITELY be staying here next time I am in the area!

My wife and I loved our visit to the farm. The property is pristine and Danny and Yolanda were so friendliest most helpful host you can ask for. From the moment we arrived with our dog we were welcomed and made to feel at home. We were free to pick our campsite anywhere on the farm and we picked a spot between two massive pines in front of the Donkey pin. This farm has a fresh produce and fresh seafood market on the property so we’re able to eat and take home lots of fresh Tuna and Red Snapper. The bathroom was very basic and very clean and the showers are very hot.
By our second night we were accustomed to all the farm noises and even looked forward to the rooster crowing at 5am😂
The property is about 30 mins from Wilmington and the beach and regardless of what time we came back in the evening we always had 24/7 access to the campsite.
We really enjoyed camping on the farm with the donkeys, free range chickens, ducks, guineas, rabbits, and farm cats although I think our dog enjoyed it more. We will definitely be back to camp again!!! I highly recommend camping at Livingston Creek!!!

Danny had a wonderful property that was perfect for rent camping. My girlfriend and I felt welcomed as soon as we arrived; she also loved getting to pet the donkeys!

Virtual unlimited parking and tent options. Trails for the dogs and a nice simple bath house means I am all set and very appreciative. It is immediately next to the highway so there is no peace from the noise of traffic, if that's a thing that bothers you.

I absolutely loved my time at Livingston Creek Farms. We had just gotten a ton of rain, but they helped me find a dry place to set up near a big pine forest. The animals were so fun to see, and my dog had a real surprise hearing her first donkey bray. But above all else was the warm hospitality and connection from the hosts. Yolanda was such a bright and warm surprise in my visit, and was so generous with her time and stories. She made sure I left with the freshest local produce and Moonshine pickles, and we swapped stories of our time on the corporate hamster wheel. I truly think that experiences like mine are why this app exists. I got to see a gorgeous part of my state that I would have never known existed, and left knowing incredible humans who are working hard to invest in their environment and community. I would give this place ten stars if I could, and I will be returning.

Wonderful experience and exceptional hosts. The produce market has most things you could want including fresh eggs and local fish. The farm is beautiful with lots of animals muling about. There are covered camp sites as well as more remote sites in the back that are forested.
Note the location of the farm and consequently the sites, are just off the main highway, so there is a steady rumble of traffic throughout. If that's not a considering factor for you then this farm is just perfect.

Very nice stay. I had a tucked away area all together myself. The hosts were extremely pleasant. Happy to help and available if you need it, happy to give you space if you need that. There was clean toilets and shower. I was confused with the wording in the description if there was always toilets and shower available or not but it seems like it's just first come first serve like any shared restroom would be.

I couldn’t speak highly enough about my experience staying here. Yolanda was there to great me as soon as I came in. She showed me around the property and gave me options on where I could set up. The animals, the atmosphere and the store(s) are just a few things that made my stay great. I was truly bummed when a hurricane came in and cut my time down. I wish I could’ve stayed longer!
Plus, I’m a woman who was traveling alone for that trip and I couldn’t have felt safer or more comfortable. 5 stars from me!

The land that we stayed on was nice and quiet! We had a teardrop camper and it was super quiet at night!
Danny and his wife Yolanda were very welcoming! Anything you needed they had you covered! I actually needed a screwdriver for a quick repair on my camper and they happily loaned me one so i could make the repair. I'd highly suggest going and checking it out!
Before we left the next day i had Danny prepare me about 4lbs of Fresh Salmon right in front of me! Was super cool to see and get fresh fish for the ride back home.
Farm was filled with various happy animals and the free range chickens, cats, rabbits ,and ducks were a welcome sight!

We had a wonderful time!! The grounds were well kept and my dogs absolutely loved being allowed off leash to roam freely. The communication was great with the host They have a lovely farmers market and seafood store at the entrance to the camp, but it is plenty far away from the site so we did not hear any of the traffic. It was a perfectly quiet and much needed weekend getaway. Would definitely camp here again!!

Very large open area as well as wooded area. The developed area with the animals is very well lighted with a pavilion . If you want more privacy you can drive to the far side and literally have the place to yourself. Host is very friendly. The bathrooms and showers are basic but functional and clean..

Danny and Yolanda were absolutely charming and friendly hosts who insisted that I could reach out to them any time, day or night, no matter what the issue was. My one piece of advice is to take them up on that!
For example, the pavilion was awfully muddy so even on a VERY rainy night we didn't pitch our tent under it. "Oh I didn't realize it was muddy! We just needed to put more straw down." Easy solution with a little communication.
Their dog wandered from their home down the street to their farm where we camped and decided to hang out at my tent -- cue alarming animal shadows and a couple of loud barks. "Ugh that crazy dog! I'll just have to lock him in next time we have campers." Again, easy solution with a little communication.
In short, there were a couple of things that were VERY ANNOYING but I feel like could have been completely resolved with a phone call to ask for help.

Our hosts were great! We were welcomed upon arrival and given a verbal tour of the property. There are plenty of places to choose, although as many posts mention, if you stay within a reasonable distance of the bathrooms, you will have to contend with the lights. It wasn’t a problem for us, we were able to sleep well, but it is worth mentioning.
We bought some fruit from the market, set up camp, and stayed 2 nights. It was only a 20 minute drive to Wilmington, a little more to the beaches, but the price was good, the bathrooms were a bonus, and we were able to book last minute, which was great!
Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Very mixed feelings about this place.
We are regular campers, but due to overbooking at regular campgrounds we have started using hipcamp more.
This place was a really neat little farm during the daytime. Very charming and the owners were welcoming and friendly. We were so excited to camp here overnight.
The description on hipcamp says there is plenty of free fire wood available, but we drove the whole farm looking for wood with no luck. No gas stations or stores nearby sold any, so we weren’t able to have a campfire, much to my sons disappointment.
So, bring your own wood and kindling.
Then,there are so many massive flood lights on the property( for security), you feel like your camping in a Walmart parking lot. It’s so bright!
We camped as far into trees as possible but the lights illuminated our tent all night long.
And the animals, there are several properties with outside dogs near the farm and you will hear the dogs barking, all night long. It sounds like a dog park.
The farm animals join in throughout the night as well. The donkey randomly yells all through the night and the roosters will wander, and cockadoodle starting at 2am.
We got, zero sleep.
While the farm is wonderful, if you plan on sleeping or having a traditional camping experience - look elsewhere.
The photos, didn’t line up with the farm either. We were excited to see farm animals but only saw a wandering roosters, a lone donkey in a fence and a cat who would not leave us alone the entire time.
Also, even if you book for your correct amount of campers on hipcamp- they actually charge you $25 per person when you arrive.
This place has so much potential and I think if they make some adjustment it could be an amazing campground, close to Wilmington.
I wish the owners the best of luck, this place has so much potential and you can tell they pour their heart and soul into it.
