At Tuxedo Falls, our love for the outdoors runs deep—and we want to share it with you. Our journey began when we stumbled upon this long-forgotten forest oasis. Once a bustling summer camp, the land had become overgrown and inaccessible. But we saw the potential to breathe new life into it.
With deep family roots in nearby Lake Summit and Flat Rock, we knew there was a need for upscale, outdoor-oriented hospitality. Inspired by the summer camps that have long defined the Tuxedo area, we set out to create a place where adults, families, and groups could enjoy nature in comfort and style. Tuxedo Falls is more than a destination— it’s a homecoming to the outdoors.
We believe time spent outside is essential to our health and well-being. That’s why we’re bringing this once-forgotten property back to life—not only as stewards of the land, but as hosts who value both adventure and rest.

*Please note: One of the chestnut oaks supporting Tajar grows right through the floor—bringing nature literally indoors. It’s part of what makes this treehouse so magical. Because it’s a real, living tree, sometimes you might notice a friendly raindrop or a curious tree-loving insect. Consider it part of the immersive, forest-to-floor experience.
*Please note: Queen Bed is located in the loft accessible by a short but steep ship’s ladder. If you’re comfortable with stairs and ladders, you’ll love waking up among the treetops. If you have mobility limitations or prefer to avoid steep climbs, consider one of our single-floor canvas cabins.
