Beautifully landscaped grounds of this once tobacco farm then 30 year nursery, offer a peaceful setting to follow your days on the trails. Enjoy the greenhouse/shade area set up with lights, tables & WiFi, dip your toes in the creek and watch your dog(s) get their zoomies out in the large dog run or just sit back and relax. Perfectly situated just 3 miles to the entrance of Pisgah Forest, 25 minutes to DuPont, five minutes to downtown Brevard, fifteen from Ashville airport and 30 minutes to downtown Asheville . ***Central potable water hookup, NO water hookup at sites. Even though the site states "Water Hookup", it's actually a central fill-up station. The way this appears through the platform is confusing, we know but it's a HipCamp glitch that we have asked them to address. *****No arrivals after 10:00pm. We're available to answer questions and provide assistance between the hours of 7:00am-10:00pm. ** Overall length of more than 50' will not be able to make the turns on the property. ie. if your tow behind is 30' and truck is 22' you will will not be able to make the turns

***Has its own/private fenced in dog yard at the site*** Minimum age to book is 21 Our most popular site, situated above the creek and next to a wooded area, site five is a short walk to the greenhouse and porta potty. Your dogs will enjoy their own lawn and you'll love the mud resistant features. *lawn is pet friendly, high end artificial grass designed to stay mud free. **NO WATER AT THE SITE potable water fill up station is at the greenhouse * Dump station is 1/4 mile from our property, very easy access. ANY DUMPING OF GREY OR BLACK WATER ON OUR PROPERTY WILL RESULT IN TERMINATION OF STAY AND ALL MONIES FORFEITED Important information for camping: This area is prone to rain with occasional thunder & lightening. Tents do not offer protection from lightening. Vehicles with steel or aluminum framing can offer some protection but you should do your own research to ensure your safety while camping. Our greenhouse is not considered a safe shelter from lightening. **It's important to be animal aware while enjoying the mountains of WNC is home to many critters, including and not limited to venomous and non venomous snakes, bears and coyotes. Our property is beautifully wooded with many water sources making it inviting to humans and many species of animals. As with any camping experience in this part of the state, you should follow smart camping guidelines such as, 1. Be bear smart. Eliminate odors from food supplies. It’s not only trash that will attract a bear; toiletry items such as toothpaste, soap, lotions, deodorant or bug sprays (especially citronella) should be secured from bears as well. Keep your food, supplies and gear away from bears, there are several different ways to set them out of a bears reach. You could keep them in a hard-sided vehicle, a certified food storage container, or put it all in a bag and hang it between two trees at least 10 feet from the ground. 2. Be snake smart. When it comes to snakes, be particularly careful if you move logs or brush as most snakes get to moving when their environment is tampered with. Keeping your dog on leash will lesson the chance of him/her encountering a snake.
