Beautifully landscaped grounds of this once tobacco farm then 30 year nursery, offer a peaceful setting to follow your days on the trails. Enjoy the indoor/outdoor plant filled greenhouse set up with lights and tables, dip your toes in the creek and watch your dog(s) get their zoomies out in the large dog run or just sit back and relax. Perfectly situated just 3 miles to the entrance of Pisgah Forest, 25 minutes to DuPont, five minutes to downtown Brevard, fifteen from Ashville airport and 30 minutes to downtown Asheville . *****No arrivals after 10:00pm. We're available to answer questions and provide assistance between the hours of 7:00am-10:00pm Circle the driveway until you see a bridge to a field. Chose anywhere not close to other campers. Area withing about 20' of bridge can get muddy. ** Overall length of more than 50' will not be able to make the turns on the property. ie. if your tow behind is 30' and truck is 22' you will will not be able to make the turns

Minimum age to book is 21 This creek side gem is on the back lawn and one of 3 dispersed camping sites (Dispersed Camping 1, Dispersed Camping 2, Dispersed Camping 3) Surface is a combination of grass with some rock & gravel . Two tents/ Four people max per site, more tents and people will need to book additional site. The greenhouse (WiFi, tables, bbq grill) and porta-potty are accessible by a 3 minute walk. Overall length of more than 50' will not be able to make the turns onto the property. ie. if your tow behind is 30' and truck is 22' you will will not be able to make the turns *site 3 does not have electric. *potable water fill up station is shortly after you enter onto the property/on the way to the site. * dump station is 1/4 mile from our property, very easy access. Important information for camping: This area is prone to rain with occasional thunder & lightening. Tents do not offer protection from lightening. Vehicles with steel or aluminum framing can offer some protection but you should do your own research to ensure your safety while camping. Our greenhouse is not considered a safe shelter from lightening. **It's important to be animal aware while enjoying the mountains of WNC is home to many critters, including and not limited to venomous and non venomous snakes, bears and coyotes. Our property is beautifully wooded with many water sources making it inviting to humans and many species of animals. 1. Be bear smart. Eliminate odors from food supplies. It’s not only trash that will attract a bear; toiletry items such as toothpaste, soap, lotions, deodorant or bug sprays (especially citronella) should be secured from bears as well. Keep your food, supplies and gear away from bears, there are several different ways to set them out of a bears reach. You could keep them in a hard-sided vehicle, a certified food storage container, or put it all in a bag and hang it between two trees at least 10 feet from the ground. 2. Be snake smart. When it comes to snakes, be particularly careful if you move logs or brush as most snakes get to moving when their environment is tampered with. Keeping your dog on leash will lesson the chance of him/her encountering a snake.

Booking whole venue includes the Base Camp Cabin, maximum guests allowed in the cabin is 2. The bathroom in the cabin is limited to only 2 people and their names must be individually named on the reservation. This is an old property on septic, there are no exceptions to this rule. Minimum age to book any sites is 21 Overall length of more than 50' will not be able to make the turns on the property. ie. if your tow behind is 30' and truck is 22' you will will not be able to make the turns How it works: Once you book this site, all sites will be reserved for your group. ALL campers whether spending the night or just the day, must be included in the reservation and total numbers of campers cannot exceed maximum number allowed. Maximum number of guests during the day is 50, overnight is 26/limited to maximum number permitted at the sites. The greenhouse is an ideal setting for up to 50 people as an evening gathering in the summer or anytime in the fall. There is ample space outside the green house for a food truck, grill and or/more seating. We have one porta-potty onsite and can advise where to rent more for groups of more than 15 people. Although we're only a short jaunt to Ashville, Brevard, DuPont and Pisgah National Forest, we sit between two mountains, with lush greenery throughout, many water features and picturesque settings making this a peaceful retreat. Our back lawn is commonly referred to as the "wedding lawn" due to its colorful shrubs and babbling creek.
