Unique spot with a Hostel vibe!
Robert and Amanda’s land is such a unique and memorable spot. We stayed at the valley sites, which were wide open, flat, and gave us plenty of space to spread out. The whole property has a really cool hostel-type vibe — social, welcoming, and well set up — but outdoors in nature. The bathrooms and showers were clean and convenient, which made camping here feel comfortable. The location is also a huge plus, with Asheville just a short drive away.
One thing to keep in mind: it’s not the most peaceful setting. Dogs barked deeply and often throughout the day and night, and there’s also a rooster that joins in. If quiet and solitude are what you’re after, that might be a drawback. But if you’re okay with some background noise, the land itself and the atmosphere make this a very cool place to stay.
