It's a must-see-for-yourself experience at On the Rocks geodesic dome at 4Creeks Cabin Co. Just steps off the porch, you'll find a massive rock that you can climb on to overlook the creek and forest below, right next to the fire pit where you can enjoy evening chats and s'mores. You won't be disappointed with the view from the dome. Standing in the window with no deck surrounding the dome, our design simulates floating over the forest below at a height of about 14 feet above the forest floor below. Sitting on the deck or at the fire pit area, you can hear the creek babbling. Take a morning or afternoon walk through the woods; you've got 10 acres to explore freely where you'll find creeks and wooded area and so much beautiful fauna and wildlife. At night, you may hear our mountain dogs and coyotes howling. You are truly out in nature here at 4Creeks. You are bound to see a deer or fox while you are here. We are only a 10-minute drive from downtown West Jefferson, 7-minute from the grocery store, 3-minutes from the winery and Christmas tree farm, 30-minutes from Boone, about 35-to 40- to our closest ski slope, 30-minutes or less to Tennessee and Virginia, 15-minutes from Blue Ridge Parkway, 40-minutes from the North Wilkesboro Racetrack, and so much more. Nestled in the NC mountains, our converted school bus tiny home offers a unique retreat in the woods. The vibrant yellow bus features a cozy interior with a compact kitchen and dining area with windows showcasing forest views. A comfortable living space includes a sofa and the sleeping area has a cozy bed. A compact bathroom with toilet and shower adds convenience. Enveloped by wildlife and just 10 minutes from charming West Jefferson, this tiny “Schoolie” home is a perfect escape into nature. The space This "Schoolie" has it all! You will drive right up to the bus and park in front of it to easily unload your belongings. On the small deck, you’ll find outdoor seating, a small gas grill, and space to hang out in nature. The fire pit area with outdoor seating and Breeo brand smokeless fire pit is just steps away. (Not available in high wind— Smokey the Bear says so!) Bring your hammocks to string out or pay a small fee to borrow some! Inside, you’ll be greeted with the original driver's seat for the bus before turning to view the cozy couch and small dining table. On the left upon entering, you’ll find the kitchenette equipped with small refrigerator, electric cook top, drip coffee maker and Keurig, sink, plenty of pots and pans, cooking essentials, toaster, blender, and more! This tiny kitchen is stocked by someone who loves to cook! Wandering on back while you enjoy the cascading windows overlooking the serene woods, you'll find the bathroom which features a shower, a compact vanity with sink and shelves next to the shower to stash your items. Toilet and toilet paper is provided for you. Towels are provided. You’ll even find a few of the essentials available for your use in case you forgot anything for your stay. The bedroom at the back of the bus features a queen-sized comfy mattress bed, outlets for charging your electronics (please no personal space heaters), a ROKU TV, and "benches" alongside the bed for a place to set your things. The linens are provided as are extra blankets if you need a little something more!

Currently under construction and offering rentals starting in Spring 2024, this geodesic dome has it all. Featuring a King bed in the spacious master bedroom centered in the back half-circle section of the dome and facing the large 20+ foot window, you can keep the sliding double barn doors open for views or closed for darkness and privacy. On the Rocks will have a full bathroom furnished with a 3'x4' standing shower, sink and vanity, and toilet with plenty of storage for your trinkets. Our full kitchen will please most guests who have stayed in a dome before... this thing is equipped with a full-sized refrigerator (with freezer and ice maker!), sink, electric stove and oven, small dishwasher, coffee maker, keurig, and all the essentials you could ask for in a full kitchen, stocked by someone who loves to cook! Our upstairs loft spans over the bathroom, master bedroom, and cantilevers over the kitchen. You'll have the best view out of the skylight from up here. There will be a queen bed and a couch/futon for hanging. Our outdoor space can't be beat, with a propane grill on the porch just outside the geodome door as well as a small seating area for dining or enjoying your favorite beverage.
