Fall is the best time to Enjoy the Parkway! A private, wooded RV site located just over a mile off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Glade Valley, NC, overlooking a small private lake. Paved road access leads to the property, which features a 35’ gravel pad suitable for either a drivable RV (drive-in) or travel trailer (back-in), with full hookups on both sides (50A, 20A, water, and septic) and a newly added picnic table area. Plus discounted pricing for weekly or one-month stays! Easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and just 30 minutes to Mayberry (Mount Airy, NC) or I-77/I-74. Future on-site laundry access will be available at an additional cost. RV length is limited to 35’ or less. Only one RV is allowed on site, with a 30-day stay limit.Come enjoy the Fall colors! Beautiful, clean spot!

17 ft travel trailer · With pets

Peaceful location with nice, well-maintained RV connections and gravel spot. Bob and Cindy were such lovely, accommodating hosts (especially as we showed up last-minute) and provided many great local recommendations for activities and places to visit. For anyone with kids or dogs, do note that the parking spot is just off the road, though the road is not very busy and we had no issues.

Quiet location near the Parkway

I was looking for a quiet, peaceful spot near the Blue Ridge Parkway, and this property delivered. Full hookups and a beautiful lighted picnic table area where I enjoyed having dinner after dark. A note on arrival: if you come in from the Parkway to the north, backing into the site is much easier — you're turning toward your driver's side so visibility is better, and the turn isn't as steep. The tradeoff is a stretch of dirt road immediately off the Parkway. It's a relatively short section of dirt (half mile, maybe less) and it was in good condition. But it's an unmarked road off the Parkway that honestly looks like a trail. Hardly any traffic on this road — I saw more deer than people in the 3 days I was here. If you're a cyclist, the Parkway is about a mile away, though expect some steep climbs on the way there. Cell signal on AT&T was pretty weak but the site has wifi. The hosts were very communicative and made sure I had everything I needed.
